I don't collect retros so I don't follow Zombie Sailor. Why the hate from folks other than delays? He regularly shits on his contemporaries, ridiculing their approach to making figures touting himself as the flag bearer, despite being just a dealer before getting in on the Retro craze. He has threatened to sue other companies for even considering mentioning signing guys he has already signed. He can't take critiscm, and regularly blocks anyone who has a differing opinion against him. He was banned from this forum for childishly insulting members who didn't suck up to him. He outright swore off dealing with anyone from England because of shipping. Going as far to cancel orders from the US if he knew they were going to send them to the UK. He's an outright dickhead. |

Guys, the weirdest thing just happened. I was babysitting for this couple who went to dinner and just put the kids to bed. I had a few hours before the couple came back and was running out things to do so I wanted to watch TV, but their only TV was in their bedroom. I gave them a quick call and asked if it was okay if I could watch TV in their room. The husband said it was fine, I thanked him and before hanging up asked if it was okay if I could put a sheet over the clown statue in the corner of the room. The husband demanded I wake the kids and get them out of the house, telling me he'll call the police. confused, I followed his instructions and waited outside. The couple arrived at the same time as the cops and a couple of minutes later the cops came out with a dwarf dressed as a clown. Turns out he was a murderer that escaped from a local mental health facility. This is something I can relay back to the AEW/Jazwares team. I just got major Dejavu, is that a reference to something? |

Send positive vibes, y'all. I'ma need that banter strength today. How about the story of how where I met my significant other? An arcade in town in May or June of 2003. It was the end of my senior year of high school and my friends and I were just wasting away the days counting down to graduation because we'd basically "made it" at that point, were checked out, and just ready to be done. I was chatting on AIM with a friend about I wished we had a good arcade around. He mentioned the one we have in town, and I was so adamant that the place sucked that I drove over, picked him up, and we went there (really, it was just another excuse for something to do). We wound up on the third floor, as some mutual friends of ours were big into Dance Dance Revolution, and they had three of those cabinets. Their group was intermingled with a couple of other people who weren't part of the "all of us go to high school together crowd", and she was among them. I'd like to say it was love at first sight, but we really just became part of the same larger group of friends that kicked off that summer and did everything together. It was actually close to a year before we started getting close and dating - I went off to college for a bit, got into some really bad relationships, dropped out, and wound up swearing off dating entirely just as she and I began growing closer, and things just sort of took off from there. We've been together ever since, so that's eighteen years this past June, and we just celebrated our fourteenth wedding anniversary. Got a seven year old kid, and our very own Dance Dance Revolution arcade cabinet to boot. |
