Anyone else get a shipping confirmation e-mail for Player 2 Ryu?
USPS is currently experiencing technical difficulties or else I’d say what the estimated shipping date is for mine.

Not much damage, but I got some stuff I’ve been wanting. Would have gone in on a lot of AEW stuff, but the CC Piper/Steele pre-order hit today, too. Maybe next week, assuming there will be 4.0 sales.

Will series 2 offer Glacier, Jeff Jarrett, and Mike Chioda? Any chance of other names being revealed soon? If they're doing a Jeff Jarrett, could they also do Attitude Era figures of guys like The Hardys/Edge & Christian/Billy Gunn/Chris Jericho/Dustin Rhodes (perhaps not as Goldust but maybe just as old school Dustin Rhodes), Paul Wight (would love a proper looking Big Show), Ric Flair, and Sting or is Double J an exception? I'd also love rookie/indy versions of Brian Danielson, Christopher Daniels, Jay Lethal, etc. So far, all that’s been announced for Series 2 is Glacier, two versions of Jeff Jarrett (1997 & 1999), and Referee Mike Chioda. Series 1 is finishing up soon, and hopefully will ship out within the next couple of months. Once that happens, I think Series 2 won’t be that far behind. Unfortunately, most of the names you listed are under contract to AEW and are unlikely to happen anytime soon. The timing for Jarrett worked out just so for FC to go after him, but if he had started sooner with AEW, I’m not sure he’d be available either. He’s definitely the exception to the rule. My opinion is that the focus should always be on mid-to-late ‘90s characters. Whether it’s WWF, WCW, ECW, or wherever, keep it consistent so that collectors know what’s on the table and what isn’t.

The inside scoop from my buddy at the toy shop is that he heard there are TWO surprises coming our way in the legends line before the end of the year. One he heard would be a "nice" surprise and the other a "major" one. Of course we will have to wait to see if this is true but I'm going to make my official predictions here. Mild Surprise- My prediction=RVD. We know RVD has a docu coming out very soon for WWE and he was just inducted in the Hall of Fame. I don't think it's too far out there to consider an RVD figure making the rounds sometime soon. Outside Chance= Jeff Jarret. The lawsuit with Jarret's likeness is done and I've heard that Jarret wants a merchandising deal with WWE. Major Surprise-My prediction= The Steiner Brothers. I don't know if any of you know but Rick's son has signed with WWE and is considered a major prospect, most of the time when family signs all the other hard feelings are under the bridge..........maybe even Uncle Scott's. Outside Chance=CM Punk. I think it's very possible that Punk signs some sort of deal with WWE that allows him and WWE to benefit off his likeness, I'm not saying he will come back to wrestle again but I think Punk's pocketbook is getting smaller than he would like. Also, 2K is wanting to make a big splash with the next 2K game considering the reboot, could he be a pre order bonus? ?? First of all it was a very good day but where are the freaking Mega Powers???! I mean I'm hearing that two packs are going to take a vacation so where does that leave us?? Mattel could slap 250 dollars on a Mega Power two pack and sell every freaking one. Makes no sense. Love the Survivor Series Hulk Hogan, mustache is off a little bit but still an incredible figure and the world title belt was a nice surprise. The only thing that sucks is this figure will more than likely be harder to find than Hollywood Hulk Hogan in the wild. Go ahead and call me the fortune teller regarding WM 9 Hulk, the figure is already hitting THREE figures on ebay and yours truly called that a few months ago. I, like many others, was unable to snag a preorder but I have no problem paying 300 dollars for the figure if need be. Series 91 is gold with Hulk and RVD leading the way. Was Happy to see so many legends today, Mattel knows where the money goes. Chief Jay Strongbow was the surpirse my buddy told me about and while I'm happy to see him I think my buddy mislead me with his information. I was expecting the Steiners and I let him know how I felt, he needs to be more careful in the future.Really excited to see the Ultimate Line get their own legends series. Looking like Hulk will be in there pretty soon. Wow, it's been a crazy few days. We had a viewing party at my buddy's toy shop yesterday and I spent the night at his house with some other friends so we could have a system for today's Hogan/Zeus exclusive. Happy to say we got five coming so we can recoup our money loss as well. Yesterday was awesome, the Mega Powers reveal was beautiful. Me and my buddy actually embraced when it came up on the screen. You see the red and yellow has made such an impact on our lives that seeing these incredilbe Hogan figures means so much to us, it's more about toys and more about what Hulkamania stands for. Of course we still need Wrestlemania 3 Hogan, Wrestlemania 8 Hogan and Summerslam 1991 Hogan ( maybe as a two pack with The Ultimate Warrior like the Mega Powers) so hopefully we see at least one of those at Ringside Fest in November. I hope each and every one of you got to see a figure that made you as happy as the Mega Powers did for us. We're getting the freaking Mega Powers, Wow, still can't believe I'm typing that. Only downside was no Steiners but my Buddy said it was only a matter of time. This is one of my buddy's predictions but he said Steiners will come first. so RSC is doing a “launch party” at Hogan’s Beach Shop instead of RSFest cool YES!!!!!!!!!!! You've got to think this confirms that ALL of Legends 18 will be shown and a huge hogan figure will be there too!!! Wrestlemania 8?? Summerslam 1991?? We can only hope and dream.Ultimate 16 too. Also, to piggy back off some of thie discussion from eariler, my buddy at the toy shop told me not to worry about Scott Steiner not being in that card game. He said the Big Poppa Pump is going to have a big presence in WWE 2K23 but he may be announced next year when they announce the DLC for that game, I told him that being in that game doesn't always mean a figure but he said hes sure the Steiners will be announced by Comic Con of next year. He also expects a trailer for 2K23 during Surivior Series next weekend, though he doesn't expect any announcements of talent in the game. Just a hype trailer. I don't know if you're all aware or not but Steve dropped a huge massive tease in the Q and A thread. He was asked what was his biggest 2022 accomplishment and he said THEY would be revealed at Wrestlemania Axess. Since he said THEY it's got to be a tag team right. I don't think he could mean another line because what else could they do? My buddy from the toy shop says it's The Steiners but Steve also mentioned in the same Q and A that Scott would need a figure contract to have figures made so who knows?? I'm thinking if it's a tag team only three come to mind that would be considered a home run by everybody and that's the Steiners, Demolition or The Road Warriors. What do you guys predict?? I spent the day at my buddy's toy shop helping him stock inventory for the upcoming busy holiday season and thought I would give you all some tidbits I learned. Ric Flair-It was a major blow losing Flair to aew for who knows how long. WWE made a major push to sign Flair but didn't want anything to do with his energy drinks. It was Flair's decision to not sign and the general feeling now is perhaps Sting will resign with aew too since Flair is there now. Major Tag Team Coming- My buddy has been hearing for awhile now that there is a major tag team coming that isn't The Dudleys (more on them later) He thinks it's Demolition and we should see something before Wrestlemania. Legends Coming- Here's some legends we should expect pretty soon, Terry Taylor, Pyscho Sid, The Dudleys, The Sandman and another ECW name to be named later. He talked to a toy guy in Kentucky and that guy told him that he expects the ECW guys to be shown at Wrestlemania since mania is in Philly next year. My buddy also heard that the Dudleys signed their contract over a year ago and those figures could come anytime or may even be the next Ringside Exclusive two pack?? Target is really happy with the Best of Legends set and to expect another one next year. The Steiner Brothers- Oh boy. Are The Steiner Brothers coming??? My buddy says it's 50/50. He doesn't understand why Steve said early 90's Steiners are on the to do "wishlist". He seems to think if they were coming they would be on the "to do" list but Steve also didn't confirm they weren't coming like he did with the One Man Gang rumor. My buddy says regardless to expect an Ultimate Big Poppa Pump sooner than later. Also here is a couple of figure hunting tips from my buddy. In the case of the limited best of legend shippers, the best thing to do is make friends with the stockers or managers then they will call you once they come and you can buy the entire shipper like my buddy did . Also if you're looking to make a few extra bucks to pay for those hard to find figures the trick is to stock up on cheap basics throughout the year and then sell them to parents a few weeks before Christmas for a profit. I think I told you guys this tip before, I sold a couple of cheap basics for 50 dollars or more last year when inventory was low at retail right before Christmas.

I've probably asked this before but what is the best stands to use with BCA figures? I'm sick of them falling over 💀 I’ve heard Ringside’s stands work well with BCA figures. They probably take up a lot less space than the old Jakks ones, too.

This is the most bizarre place Ive ever seen get their own exclusive figures. Isnt he just a glorified ebay seller? I think he’s been at it a long time, and probably has made some good connections along the way, but it’s definitely a surprise to see. Mattel WWE collectors know him well. He seems to be trustworthy as far as getting in stock and shipping out items in a reasonable time. I ordered Chun-Li from him via Amazon and didn’t have any issues, so I have no problem with him carrying an exclusive. Those new pics are just…wow. Makes me so glad I decided to jump on this line from the get-go. Blanka was always my favorite growing up, and I’m stoked with the sculpt on display.

My Black Strap Andre arrived this past Tuesday, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite Zombie figures. The screaming head is so much more expressive, and I like that the nostrils were not painted this go-around. The teeth are some of the most detailed I’ve seen on a wrestling figure. One of the most perfect heads that Zombie has produced thus far. This might be the cleanest card I’ve gotten from him, too. It wasn’t packaged any different from Booger or previous releases; I think I just got lucky. There may be some slight buckling to the card, which I would attribute to Andre’s size and weight. The figure itself has some minor paint issues. The edges of the singlet aren’t painted as crisp as my Blue Strap Andre, and there’s also some flesh tone paint that got on the front of the singlet near the crotch and inner thigh. There’s a speck on the back of the neck, and probably the most noticeable is a smear of black paint on the right shin, but I think I should be able to remove those without any trouble. I moved the heads side to side and applied minor pressure in an attempt to see if I could remove them with relative ease, but I could not. I don’t really have any interest in swapping the heads, so I doubt I’ll continue with it any further. Let me know if any of you have success with it. I’m fine with them just as they are. If you’re on the fence about getting either Andre, I’d say don’t be. There’s always the risk of encountering minor paint defects with any toy line, or maybe you already own a Hasbro Andre and don’t think you need this one, but I really believe both Andre figures from Zombie are, at the least, worthy of your consideration. I just want them to look like they fit in with the BCAs when you look at them on a shelf. These skin tones aren’t going to allow for that to be the case. I want everyone to be on board with what we're doing, especially if you're a huge fan of the BCA style like us. But I must respectfully disagree. Here's two iconic BCA figures with nice tans. If they were pale they wouldn't have looked quite right. If I recall correctly, the BCA Warrior was changed from a pale skin tone to his tan self before final release! It was probably always going to be that tan. The prototype looks like it has a yellowish-hue because of it being painted resin.

I recently purchased the most recent Mattel Legends Triple H and the Backlash Series 3 HHH and decided to add the Legends t-shirt + an old Jakks water bottle to that figure: Shirt's a little big and you cannot move his ponytail in the back but it looks very solid IMO. Good idea! That Triple H is one example of Jakks getting something right before it was too late.

Not a fan of Macho having a tan. I think these should match the originals as closely as possible, most of which were pale. Even Meanie was too tanned. The difficulty with that is the materials are not the same anyway, so the figures will never truly be BCAs as we knew them. What we saw previewed with Meanie and Clark is an attempt to improve upon the BCA skin tone, and I’m fully in support of that. To be honest with you, I wish Meanie had more color. Clark I was skeptical of until I had it in hand and realized how much I’d always wanted a BCA with that level of tan. I don’t want them to revert back to a ghostly pale complexion.

Finally scored a Slammers 2 Patriot for a decent price (in the UK). Nice! That’s a good one. What I love most about it is that it fits in seamlessly with sculpts from ‘96 and ‘97.

The most recent one is the best set they've done yet IMO And the upcoming one is the one I'm least excited for and will likely pass unless it's on offer in the future. Ref Ali does nothing for me. There was enough perfect Hogans in the original line & we just had nwo Hogan. Wendi & Studd just aren't big enough stars to get me excited for it. Hope they keep coming though and we see some more never done before stars I want New Generation characters much more than I do Golden or Attitude. Sweet spot for me is ‘93 to ‘96. I get more nostalgic for sets that are a continuation rather than gap-fillers from earlier series. I would absolutely love something like a Million Dollar Corporation set. Pre-nWo themed WCW sets have a lot of potential, too.

I held off on Ultimo just cos I'm picky about the scale. I might actually try and pick Savage up, though. Are they talking about a variant Macho as well? No, I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure it’s a one shot deal.

@figheel shared this new pic of “Macho Man” Randy Savage from Series 1. If you compare it to the previous prototype image, you’ll notice that FC has given it a deeper tan than it previously had. You should expect the final product to look more like this latest pic. The designs on the removable hat are also painted all the way around, and even though it’s hard to tell because of the lackluster lighting, the color of the hair has changed for the better, too. Lines on the tights differ as well.
