Fair play to Portugal. They won ugly and like I've mentioned before I don't admire the way they went about their business at all but they had fantastic team spirit and played as a unit. Glad I can now say we were knocked out by the champions . Also have to admire Ronaldo's passion. Say what you want about him but that was ace.

You need to take a chill pill. Just be happy that you've got to the final. You're a good team as a unit and I'll certainly give you credit for that. Would I be proud about the way the team goes about its business? Not so much, but who cares if you win the whole thing? Good luck to you.

We did ourselves proud without a doubt. We were poor tonight, we missed Ramsey and for a nation of our size we just didn't have the quality to come in and replace him. Still disappointed in the way we played but whatever.
My feelings that Portugal are a cheating team full of scumbags still stands though, I knew it would happen and I'm gutted our players let it happen. Fair play to them though, they played the ref a treat. Hope they get annihilated in the final.

Proud that we have made it the furthest out of the home nations and fancy us to do well against Belgium as we are their bogey team.
England, what can you say? Absolutely appalling stuff. Hodgson going can only mean one thing... Step forward the saviour, Gareth Southgate.

Wales Rugby. This is the global game and we are good at it. Absolutely deserved. Russia may be awful but we annihilated them. Our tactics were wrong against England but whatever, we've won the group and I think we can go far in this tournament. Joe Allen is the best player in the tournament right now too, someone obviously warned him Swansea were after him again. Delighted!

Good idea for a thread. Will keep on eye on making it a sticky. Live music and events is what I love doing. I've got Glastonbury next week so praying the weather isn't awful... Noel Gallagher in Swansea in September and The Cure in London in December are my other big ones lined up at the moment. I used to have at least a gig or two lined up every month, but work makes that a little bit trickier now. Still, I get to whatever I can as I love doing it. I used to go to Download every year, and with the glorious weather earlier last week I was somewhat sad I wasn't going again. After seeing pictures of tents submerged 3 feet deep in sludge I felt relieved Hopefully the weather goes your way anyway! Just looking at the line-up, I don't think I've ever consciously looked at a Glasto line-up but there's actually some pretty good stuff on it. I'd probably see Muse, Bring Me the Horizon, Explosions in the Sky, Adele, Coldplay, The 1975, Sigur Ros, Gabrielle Aplin, The King Blues I've always been lucky with festivals not to have had not too much bad weather but after seeing Download I am worried about this one. This years Glasto line up is pretty good on the whole but after going last year I'm willing to go every year just for the experience. I thought last years line up looked pretty damn weak and wasn't looking forward to it that much but then when I actually experienced I knew I had to go back again, it really lived up to the hype. Very excited for next week now.

I've never seen Belgium play well. Even when they win it seems that they scrape it.

Haha I wouldn't close the thread. Also, I wasn't the one who deleted the Brexit thread as I mostly agree with the reasons for leaving it open. However, it's a controversial subject isn't it? Or at least a subject that can lead to potential arguments etc. which is why someone has gone over my head to close it. That's their decision and I completely understand that. I think there's a low tolerance level for some of the stuff that goes on in the UK board and forums in general now from bad experience in the past and that sort of topic just isn't encouraged on these forums for those reasons and I get that.
Anyway. That's my two pennies worth and maybe that's cleared it up to a degree but stick to the topic in hand now fellas!

Aubameyang to City looks like it's happening. Him and Aguero up front sounds very tasty. Seems to be only really Sky/Di Marzio reporting it, every other reliable/semi-reliable source is saying there's interest but nowhere near a deal being done. ... But I want it to happen .

How much did they set you back buddy? Close to £150 from Kayfabe Commentaries UK. I do love shoot interviews especially with Kevin Nash and Sullivan. Ah, me too man. I keep meaning to buy the DVD's from Kayfabe Commentaries too.
