Isn't that the way to appeal to the mass audience though Dan? As unfortunate as it is, think about most of the people who watch the garbage on ITV.
The most we can hope for is that it's a success and that they start running house shows and filming more episodes of TV. The talent is there in Britain and I've got no problem with them becoming more mainstream.

Seriously though, have a great Christmas and happy new year. Eat and drink your body weight and enjoy the time you spend with your loved ones. It's a magical time of year.
And now in full Queen's speech style, a reflection...
2016 has been a strange year for the board. I think at times it has been marred by certain members causing controversy or breaking the rules for little reason other than to be troublemakers. I'd like to see in 2017 that we turn our backs on that and return to a forum where everyone can post freely without havoc ensuing.
I'm also saddened that the board has probably declined somewhat again in the past year. I'll be going in to my third full year as moderator next year and nothing would make me happier here than if we tried our damndest to revitalise this place a bit. I've been here for 12 years now and WF:UK used to be the place to go, full of personality, debate and discussion. I'm not asking for miracles and it's a discussion for another day probably, but it would be great if this place could return to some of its former glories.
So before I ramble on... Once again, have a fantastic Christmas, let us know of your receivings and what you got up to!

I'm really looking forward to it  . No idea what to expect but some really good talent involved, i include JR in that even though I'm not sure quite how he fits into it stylistically. None the less he makes it a bit more big time. Good to see British Wrestling getting a chance though. I expect I'll sticky this further down the line. |
