I was in attendance that night and I thought it was a great event. I'm probably biased because I was actually there, but whatever. LOVED when Maven snuck up behind Christian and rolled him up for the 3-count and won the Hardcore title and took his taxi and took off, lol!!

I think he's Hall of Fame worthy for sure. He will probably go in 2015.

I never really saw too much of Norman the Lunatic, so I can't really comment on that. Even though it was short lived, I really liked the Friar Ferguson character and especially his entrance music. I thought his music was great!! I wish that character would've lasted longer, but instead he got repackaged as Bastion Booger and I absolutely HATED that character.
It didn't help when he lost his debut match to Virgil. Lol.

I will be going over to a buddies place and watching it there. Also hoping to watch the Hall of Fame the night before, if at all possible.

Hey guys just letting you know Jake will also be at the same card show as Brett but on Saturday, both will be charging $25 per item. Where did you read this?? I'm checking out the site now, but can't seem to find any info on it, even under upcoming signings, there's nothing.

^^ 20 bucks for jake is a very reasonable price considering he's going into the hall of fame next week. Exactly. I don't have any problem spending a bit to get a few items signed by Jake. I don't believe I posted these pics in the BCW 20 Year Anniversary thread, so I will go ahead and post them here since we are talking about Jake. Here are two more classic items I was able to get signed by Jake "The Snake" Roberts in Windsor last year at the BCW 20 Year Anniversary show. And for the hell of it, one other item I was able to get signed by Scott "Razor Ramon" Hall. Enjoy!!

Not to be rude or anything, but you already made a separate thread about the 80's Toy Expo about Alan Oppenheimer attending. You really didn't need to make a whole other separate thread about Jake appearing. I would've said this could and should go in there but I already made a post about Jake's appearance in the other thread you made many hours ago and also made a post in the "What did you buy and talk" thread in case others didn't read it.

^ That's not too bad. I think Jake is definitely worth it. He's a legend and one of the biggest names of all-time.

^ Yeah, even though I'm a HUGE Bret Hart fan, I've met him at least 5-6 times so far and met Jake only once. I'm willing to pass up meeting Bret again for Jake.
If I can go to both events, that would be great!! If Jake only, that's still more than fine with me. I just hope he's not charging too much as I will be bringing a few items for sure. One of them is his old, classic WWF Coliseum Video tape which is in the original clam-shell case.

For those that didn't read my last post in the 80's Toy Expo thread, I just wanted to give my fellow Canadians a heads-up that soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts will be appearing at the 80's Toy Expo!! www.80stoyexpo.com/wrestling-legend-jake-the-snake-roberts-to-attend-80s-toy-expo/I already met Jake last year at the big BCW 20 year anniversary show and it was awesome. I am definitely going to the 80's Toy Expo as I have more items I would LOVE to get signed by Jake. Really looking forward to it.

I was in Niagara Falls last year and it was just called Retail Store with the giant wrestling belt still across the front of the building. They tried their best to remove all WWE logos on the giant belt, but I think one or two are still there.
The WWE Piledriver ride is still on top of the store, but it was out of commission when I was there. I think it's stopped working for a while before that.
It's a VERY expensive store. The prices for figures and such is outrageous!! Do yourself a favor and just avoid this store. You'll thank me.

The gimmick battle royal was awesome I completely agree!! Match quality wise, it was pretty bad, but the entrances were great and it was just awesome seeing all those guys again. I know I enjoyed it. I remember the crowd getting all upset when Doink was eliminated, lol. I just loved hearing all those old themes again and seeing the guys come out to them. I absolutely HATE on later edited versions of this event how they dubbed over some of the original music. I cannot stand when they do that. The music is a HUGE key factor for some of these characters. It just isn't the same when they dub it over.

Oh man, I LOVE the sounds of that. There are literally SO many that should appear and I would love to see all of them, even if it's just a quick cameo.
Some of the ones I can definitely see appearing are: Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, The Honky Tonk Man, X-Pac, King Kong Bundy, Sycho Sid, Vader, Bob Backlund, Bruno Sammartino, Jimmy Snuka, Koko B. Ware, Hillbilly Jim, Tito Santana, Rick Martel, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Cowboy Bob Orton, Paul Orndorff, George The Animal Steele, The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Mr. Fuji, Ax & Smash Demolition, One Man Gang, Road Warrior Animal, Jimmy Hart, Mean Gene Okerlund, Greg The Hammer Valentine, Sgt. Slaughter, Virgil, Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes, and SO many others.

Gotta go with More American Graffiti. What's REALLY surprising is that Harrison Ford actually came back and reprised his role as Bob Falfa for it. Still can't believe he was associated with it.

The commemorative ones are plastic and for what they are charging, you might as well just keep saving up and get a decent metal replica belt. There's no way I'd pay that much for a plastic belt. They may look good or whatever, but it's plastic. Definitely not worth a hundred dollars or whatever the price is. Way too much for a plastic toy belt.

Gotta say the classic theme always got me pumped up for the biggest event of the year:
