Ah, I would love that 3-pack. I'm digging all three of those figures and I'm a big fan of WrestleMania 8 for some reason. Too bad there's no Wal-Mart nearby where I could get it from...

Am I crazy, or is the new "Evil Doink" wearing attire that he only wore as a face? When Doink was originally a heel, he wore the attire used for his first CS figure...or so I think. I thought the striped tights came only after he had turned face. Anyone?

Nice. I used to be a huge Jarrett fan back in the day. I think I have all those, too, but I opened a few of them, and I sure don't have any of them signed.

I believe it stands for "Most Wanted Matches." Sort of a fantasy match-up thing. I believe it was a one-time deal. I think there was an "ultimate rock-star" set with Jericho & Edge (?) and I forget what else. Interesting collection, some stuff I've never seen before. What's that "WMW" ultimate hardcore match pack with RVD?

Yeah, I was noticing the peculiar placement of the watermark on Edge's knees. That's a shame. I just noticed something on both Edge figures - On the RA 35 Edge it looks like the bottom half of the legs are just solid red. Kind of like how AD 28 Edge didn't have a design on the bottom parts. Also if you look close at the right wrist of DA 16 Edge it looks like he MAY have the new tattoo but I could be wrong.

Wow. I'm impressed.
I think the reason why is that Mezco recognizes itself as a collector-based company, whereas Jakks still views the collectors that care about such things as the fringe of their market.

Well, they'll sell 500 of them anyway! Well, that's one way to sell a Joey Styles figure.

I'm also a loose collector, so I opened mine. Since I don't really have a desire to display stuff MOC, it would have been pointless to keep it that way, at least for me.
For whoever's keeping track: yep, mine's also from California.

More RA34s in the Bay Area tonight. The Redwood City TRU apparently just got two cases. They had Mickie x2, Lillian x2, Jericho x2, Khali x3, Shelton x4, Funaki x3, and Nunzio x3. They also got in all of AD31 (all x4), DA15 (didn't count, but all six were accounted for), and Classic 19 (Rock x2, Cactus x2, all others x1 except there were no Doinks or Finks).
The San Mateo TRU got DA15 and RA34 also, but the Mickies and Lillians were gone. Still at least 2 Jerichos and multiples of everyone else though.

I don't know if the scans are getting better, but I think the size issue is getting resolved. There don't seem to have been as many Scott-Hall-style gargantuan melon heads in the last several series.

An Adrenaline 2-pack with Yang would have been nice, but we are out of luck. Like the other guys said, Jakks wouldn't be making one anytime soon even if he was still on the roster. I'm still amazed we ever got the first one, considering he was off the roster back then too.

Sorry. DA 10 Daivaris, not RA. My bad.

I finally found RA 34 at Target in San Bruno, CA. Earlier today they had the full case up on the pegs - Mickie x1, Lillian x1, Jericho x2, Khali x2, Funaki x2, Nunzio x2, Shelton x2. Of course, they were all sporting the ridiculously high Target price of $12.99 each, but I still picked up Funaki, Mickie, and Lillian. They also had about a dozen RA Daivaris and little else.

I dreamed two nights ago that my Tommy Dreamer figure was talking to me. That was weird.

Yeah, definitely a Toy Biz WCW, but I'm not sure what series. All the ones I own have black elbow pads.

You are more than welcome to post that way-Official threads didn't start out as such, over time they evolved into what they are today. Personally, I prefer the official threads-I'd much rather click on 'Last Page' and see what the people in my area posted. Again, my opinion. As stated above, feel free to post how you like, as long as it's within forum rules. Exactly....why do I care if some dude in Oklahoma found the new DAs at TRU. How is that gonna help me? Well, I'd say it would help you because it means that now you know the new DAs are out and you should keep an eye out for them at your local TRU, since they all tend to get stock within a couple weeks or days of each other. Personally, I think it's a pain to search all the last page of all the threads to see what's out there in each individual state, but to each his own.

This is by far my favorite HBK figure. Is that the figure that looks like there is pubes on his chest? No, you're probably thinking of hairy Earthquake.

I think the original price was over $20...probably $25. I'd say that Slaughter figure is the best one he's ever received, so I'd get it all over again just for him. The Orton figure has a goofy scan.

To answer the question, I'm pretty sure Jakks Photoshops their prototypes all the time. Vince's crazy tie, anyone?
