I don't know if he announced it already, but I know the deadline is an hour before the game. So one way or another we'll know then.

Even if he did, at this point it wouldn't be the same. He's seriously lost his mind since going to TNA.

Regardless of how we think our teams are going to do, can the Brits and the Yanks at least agree that vuvuzelas are infuriating? At this point I'd love to take one of those horns and beat somebody to death with it.

People are exaggerating the issues BADLY. The ones bitching about connection issues online crack me up the most. It's like the game is ing useless without it. Here's a thought, if you really NEED to play against someone else that bad, get some actual friends and invite them over. HOLY CRAP! What a novel idea right? Now, I could be wrong, but I think that is how they used to do it back in the stone age. I mean, that was all the way back in, like, 2000! "Yo Mike, wanna spend ten bucks in gas money to drive over to my house so I can watch you play a tutorial for two hours and then beat you mercilessly for a few games? It'll be fun I swear." C'mon son.

Tom Cruise should just be Les Grossman all the time. I think it's hilarious. He needs some new beats though.
And I'm pretty sure at least one of Jonah Hill's f-bombs got through.

Any other 'merkins tried to buy a US Team jersey recently? I tried to order my Dempsey jersey yesterday and all the blues (by far the snazzier of the two) were on backorder everywhere until November. Either all the online retailers ordered an abysmal amount or people are actually getting excited for the World Cup.

That would be ironic...if they had changed it to something that actually involved skill or could be learned. This year it's all about ratings. Last year it didn't matter who you chose, if I could tap well enough you would not be able to cheap me out unless you used a turbo. This year you can charge at me with Demian Maia, take me down (or wait for me to take you down) and slap on a sub. Even if I have full stamina my fighter will tap every time, no matter how hard I spin the stick. What do you suggest I do? There's nothing to learn, nothing to practice. At the end of the day certain characters have been given absurd submission ratings that are impossible to combat.

Has there been much hype over the pond yet? or is it still an after thought? The 2010 team is getting most hype I can remember, but it's kinda a bad time. We have NBA and NHL finals going on right now. ESPN is playing these awesome commercials hyping up the England/USA match though. I think that game is more important than how our team does overall.

My guess is that they were trying to prevent turbo controllers from coming back, but in my opinion this is much worse. Last year I could beat almost anybody by submission because I was better at tapping, so it was actually a skill to have. Same thing with transition reversals last year. I played 130 ranked and a lot more player matches, and only a handful of people were as good as me. This year they made the timing window for reversals HUGE and now every Joe Schmoe will reverse the **** out of you. It seems like they catered to all the whiney babies who didn't want to put the time in to learn the game and dumbed it down a lot.

I don't mind him, but I've seen the tracklist for this album and I'm underwhelmed. The entire thing has already leaked but his buzz is pretty huge so we'll see how it sells.

Matt Hamill defeated Jon Jones via arm triangle at 2:05 of Round 2. The reach advantage for Bones was absurd. The only offense I could muster was on the ground. I got ed up by some mount elbows too.

Well supposedly they're looking into fixing a lot of the problems. I wouldn't hold your breath for this patch to be anytime soon, though. www.pastapadre.com/2010/05/29/update-on-ufc-2010-issues" Top critical issues such as Super CAF’s with respect to point distribution methods, Lyoto’s instant-takedown (and all others like it), omoplata submission cancel that returns fighters to standing, are all being heavily looked in to by the dev team right now with the right assessments and fixes necessary. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg amongst many other fine-tuning/technical issues being delved into thanks nearly 100% to your continued community feedback."

Awful main event and mediocre PPV overall. I hope Dana has fun trying to sell Rashad as a headliner after this debacle. I can't imagine being in Dana's shoes. It's going to be rough. How can he promote Rashad now? Especially after a win over Rampage Jackson, a former champion. Sure, Rashad is a former champion, and has won both of his last fights over major contenders, but that's all boulder dash, right? Completely worthless. With a record like 15-1-1, Rashad is a curtain jerker and will never, EVER be promote-able again. Were you watching without the volume turned on? Must have missed those boos somehow. I have friends who don't watch MMA that paid for this show to see that fight because of how much it was hyped up. I'm not saying Rashad is awful, what I'm saying is that all my casual fan friends are now going to illegally stream all his future pay-per-views because forty dollars for Wall-n-Stall isn't quite fair. And if you want to bring up records, Jon Fitch is 22-3. With a record like that I'm sure he really brings in the buys, right?

"Twelve wins, ten losses"? What the Bruce Buffer. Learn to distinguish a zero from a ten and give the Stun Gun his proper due.
