When was the last time they showed it? I haven't paid attention to this but it feels like it's been a long time since I've seen it, those pictures are all from last year, no? Pretty sure it was there last week. They haven't been in the office too much lately with the authority being taken out. It's there practically every single week they are in the office except this week.

In theory, the duality of Corporate Kane and Demon Kane could have been awesome. In execution, it never was. I don't care to see him back in the mask, as all his comebacks like that fall flat. Sadly, Kane feuding with Gregory Helms/Hurricane will exist only in my fantasy booking. By day, intrepid reporter Gregory tries to expose the evil schemes of the Authority's Director of Operations. By night, the Hurricane battles the Demon in mighty conflict. That's totally what I had hoped for all along. People hate on the corporate idea but it had the potential to be really awesome. I liken it to Bruce Wayne and Batman and how you have this uber crazy alter ego character existing opposite the normal guy. Unfortunately they were never creative enough to pull that off so it's been a much less exciting role. It would have been such a fun storyline too with way more possibilities.

Unlikely. There's a rumor target will be getting elites but that remains to be seen. One of the retailers advertised they were starting to stick the create a superstar packs in the current sales, I think it was TRU.
Received my Lana battle pack today!!

I don't watch or pay attention nearly enough to notice. Do they really set his mask up and have it in the background literally every week on RAW? Or is it only there sometimes? For some reason, they go to the effort of making sure it sits there on the table literally every single week. It's an awesome consistency detail on their part. I remember thinking to myself a long time ago that they sure are making a conscience effort and have dedication to keep putting it in there week in week out. That's why it's quite a pretty cool piece of symbolism that's it's now gone, but the table remains to show it wasn't a case of forgetting the setup all together.

Whilst he wasn't buried, it still massively hurts Owens. This ridiculous win-lose-lose formula has to go. Cena has torn through too many people over the years. They've turned Owens into a chicken which is hurting his credibility. He went from being the one to stand there, say he'd do something and get it done. To quitting every time. He should have won it last night, and there should be a triple threat or fatal 4 way at Summerslam.

It depends. If he turns on the Authority, then he can put the mask back on and it would make sense. But if the Authority turns on Seth Rollins, then it would make sense for Kane to stay with Triple H and Stephanie and keep the mask off. I guess we'll see what happens. Totally agree, though it seems like he has run his course as an authority figure and he has yet to exact any kind of revenge on Rollins which wouldn't really work in a face Rollins v heel Kane scenario. I noticed this, and also noticed Seth Rollins said "When you play with fire you get burnt" during his promo. I can see that being used in a hype up video. Haha nice, I thought the exact same but we're both bound to pick up on that. It does seem feasible for Kane to return in a few weeks and face Rollins at Summerslam.

Playing with Conan O Brien would be an awesome novelty I probably wouldn't care about after 1 or 2 matches. Please don't waste spots on useless randoms that have nothing to do with the product.

No thanks. We don't need two upper main event levels superstars taking the two mid card titles, that would be overkill. Right idea though, what he should do is form a tag team with someone and help add to the tag division. Runs like that have shown that they can be pretty interesting whilst boosting the division and help 'spread the talent'.

I feel like it's something that is totally a possibility. He seems to be on good terms with WWE, would make for one heck of an awesome looking figure and would sell fairly well. Hopefully as we get deeper into the Elite line it will be possible.

I've not had any problems, and you can imagine I have a tonne of Kanes. The only problematic ones is th eE19 has loose hips because the way the figure was designed/made. And the WM31 does tend to have sloppy paint jobs especially with the noticeable red slash design on his chest where you can see portions of it were painted more than others.

I don't think it's likely. Given it was worn once and not seen again, it's probably not something WWE want to run with. The fully bodysuit suits the better character anyway. I'd rather they use a slot on more fully body suited versions.

A common criticism of WWE is that they don't really go to the effort of considering intricately detailed scenarios and situations and that they opt for the most obvious outcome. Most people probably don't pay much attention, but WWE have done an excellent job at detailing one thing every single week - the appearance of Kane's mask. For the better part of the past 2 years, it has been a subtle staple in the Authority office since Kane traded in his mask for the suit. WWE goes to the effort, for nearly every one of those weeks over a 2 year period of setting up the table in the background and putting the mask, in it's display box in the office. It's casually been sitting there the whole time, and largely unnoticed. That is - with one exception being the brief time Kane remarked before he traded it in again. However, if you were watching this weeks Raw closely, for the first time in a very long time - the mask is gone. You're probably thinking - they simply forgot. But not necessarily, they've gone to the effort of still setting up that table which as you can see now sits empty. Perhaps the most subtle hint that a return to the mask (which is likely) is imminent. A pretty cool use of symbolism I reckon! It's a Kane we all want to see. Slowly but surely, it's time....

Checked a Target country the other day, had no WWE stock at all, not that I was expecting much.
Got a basic stardust in the mail though today which is cool!

Barrett is awful. The Nexus was a good chance to build him, but they screwed that up. Then he floundered in the mid card doing crap all in The Corre. The only time he has ever been entertaining since the Nexus was when he started the Bad News Barrett gimmick then he got injured for like the 80th time and lost all momentum. The guy is injury prone. As soon as he wins a belt or changes gimmick he gets injured. He is a pure joke these days. Im sure they only keep him to string the UK audience along. He's up there with Kofi in number of useless and forgettable IC title reigns and I see Barett as a liability these days as he seems injury prone. His time has come and gone. It's really not worth investing in him much further. Giving him the King gimmick was ridiculous because he didnt deserve to win he tournament given he has barely won a match in recent memory. They're just leapfrogging off the UK/royal family ties but even that has failed to resurrect his now awful career.

I say all of this with my personal bias aside. I feel it is unfair that Kane gets grouped with them simply because they came from the same time period. Henry is doing nothing and really could hang it up, but he isn't used in a way that makes me loathe seeing him. He is just used as match filler now and again. He has no prominence as he is in a reduced role and does not prevent others from having TV time etc.
Kane however still has a lot to give in the ring, in promos/entertainment and enhancing other talent. The guy is still in great shape and has such great detail when it comes to mannerisms and promos that actually goes largely undetected by most people. The corporate Kane role hasn't let him be what the audience wants but those moments where he snaps, everyone eats it up and it seems he is destined to go back to the masked role since which as people like JR have said, is his most bankable form. Kane can still go and still has more to offer. Plus you are assured he will always help younger talent, he must be a locker room leader of sorts backstage. At least at this point in his career, Kane does his absolute best to enhance others while also still performing his role as best he can. He did say he feels great and can keep going and will so long as he performs to a good standard.
Big Show however, is still actively hogging spotlight racking up clean victories over newer guys in roles absolutely none of us care for. Its either insane monster mode or crying for his job back and rotates that frequently. The attraction that a big man should be (like Big Show) has expired given his constant push despite nobody actually caring because of the ridiculous amount of turns he has. The fact is that his storylines bounces between those two stereotypes and we've all seen enough of that to last us.
I feel it is unfair Kane is grouped with the others simply because they came from the same time. Each of them add or detract in such different ways. Theres no denying Kane has the MOST to offer of the 3, hands down and by a mile. That's why after all this time they've trusted putting Kane in a role of such prominence in the Authority and to help build up Rollins. By a long mile, he has much more variety than the others.

As I was saying before someone deleted my post, I'm hoping the reboot is the e12 Kane. It has some crazy prices on the secondary market but is still too different to the wm31 version. It'd be great if they did the mesh flames on the chest as that hasn't been done since the early jakks days.
Some good answers from bill - elite Tyson sounds great, appreciate him taking the time to do these with us. Just wish the interview could have been conducted better...

Meh. Typical ryback choking. He's boring and clumsy. The sooner he leaves the title scene the better. But big show v mix 1on1 is no more interesting than it would have been as a triple threat. Ryback is always such a disappointment.

I know it is not 2k's normal strategy but I wish they'd get to the gameplay or a screenshot already. Last year we got a trailer so late, I hope it's not the case this year.
I'm also like others, you've got to leave the old gen behind to progress.

This is ridiculous. You can't go off proportions when it comes to nostalgia. That's like saying when you're over 50 and you get all nostalgic about your early 20s. That's like 10% of your lifetime but you can't look back fondly on it because it was so short in comparison? That's absurd.

I'm a little surprised they gave rose the vest and not the jacket. The jacket and necklace were the only critical ones he should have gotten. It looks good otherwise.
