Got my PS4 the other day (and a bunch of games to hold me over for now) and today preorder my Hogan Edition. Super excited for this game. It looks graphically beautiful and I think this may just be the first time since 07 we get a legit new game that feels fresh. Hogan Edition seems justified too given it has more unique exclusive items than past ones which just have mass printed rubbish. Relics autos and such really boost it. Bring on Summerslam, cant wait to see and hear more of the game! What games did you pick up? I've been procrastinating on going out to get a PS4 because there isn't really anything out right now that really excites me, I just don't want to wait until last minute and may not be able to get one come holiday time/2K15 release date. I was thinking about waiting for Madden and pick it up then, or even when NBA 2K15 launches. I got a sweet deal because they were having massive toy sales here for the past month or so and a bunch of the games in the default bundle were sold out so I basically got to pick what I wanted. Basically paid the price of one game on top of the console price for 3 games + console! I got NBA2k14, Fifa 14 and infamous second son (which looks incredible!!!) and just today I received Last of Us Remastered which so many friends have said is must buy! I love the sports games just for two player so I was happy to take a mega discount on the latest NBA than pay $95 (thats the normal price here for PS4 games) for the latest one when I dont care THAT much about having it completely up to date. Its kind of mind blowing that I bought the console and 3 games for like half of what my PS3 cost me (console only)  Id say try and get the PS4 sooner than later in case they do sell around that time and like Black Friday which is crazy over there. Maybe keep an eye out for a sweet deal and jump on it? But you could totally get one of the games any of us have mentioned in here to just get comfortable with the PS4 til 2k15.  |

Nice one! Dick Smith had the cheapest PS4 outright (at 485) but I got a sweet bundle from target for 559 and the controllers were on sale for only $63. Awesome deal!
I agree, collectors edition has awesome stuff on it. EB must have only just added it too cause I didnt see it last week when I was checking. It doesnt seem likely JB will get it, EB would be the only ones with the Hogan edition.

First of all, went to the tour on Friday night and the signing of Cesaro and Emma in the day. Awesome day. I was right in the corner where roman enters just near the barrier. Near where Rove mcmanus was sitting (who was a guest announcer). Got to fist pump roman in his entrance and after the show! It was probably the best show Ive ever seen here in terms of quality and lineup, so good!! Cant wait for next year though Ill be dropping by to WM31 before then!!!! Also, preordered the hogan edition today for PS4 (which I just bought the other day). Awesome week it has been!!! |

Incredible looking graphics. Definitely the first time I've been blown away by the graphics since svr2007s showings on Xbox. Interesting that the ps4 is getting more content than the previous though I can understand why. This game is the only reason that is tempting me to get a ps4. If the graphics are this good, I'm likely going to pull the trigger.
Not many details yet, but damn this image is the first sign of hope in my faith benig restored in the franchise to actually make notably huge leaps instead of it's steady, slow incremental pace we have become used to.

Its awesome we are finally going to get some gameplay! But the minus, and its a huge one, is that we have to endure that moron Gruesome Greggy. Id struggle to recall anyone who has done a worse job. Even drunk Ric Flair was better for the game than that moron covering the entire game with his crap-as CAW and bummed out attitude.

Looks great to me. Old pic of Taker is a strange choice though. Finally some of those fired talent are going to leave the trucks. Pretty sure the Ezekiel Jackson truck outlasted he himself.

Absolute credit given to the Mattel team for not only an exceptional Comic Con showing but fantastic Q&A too. Bill answered the questions straight on without any fuss and so many more than we seem to have had answered in the past. Lots of great things to look forward to.
My highlights are definitely the strong possibility of inverted kane and stephanie who is definitely on the way.

Keep in mind the basics were in the system and they are due September. Given the elites had no date, you would have to assume we are looking at October, November or maybe even December. I'll be glad either way if it is the WM30 set.

Im with you on that one, getting them ASAP is always the focus. Given the crappy delays they have been suffering in the US, we could very well get them before they do! I want my corporate kane and the 4 figs that represent the only PPV ive ever been to. The WM30 was always an instant buy set, would be awesome if we could get them here. I wonder if Americans would be crazy enough to pay our ridiculous prices to get them earlier... I see people on the Mattel board complaining about figures costing amounts like $20, I don't think they'd give the price a second look to be honest.  Haha but desperate times do call for desperate measures. Apparently people have been paying $150+ for the bearer set. |

Totally. I nearly gasped when they mentioned the price. So unfair but TRU normally overcharges things by about 5 or 10 so im not entirely surprised. Even if we dont get them, ill just get a set from the US. If I do however randomly stumble across the figures before they're available in the US. I would likely buy them impulsively. Sadly. Nope. The basics said august/september but there was no timeframe on the elites. Would make sense since they are realistically going to hit in the states around sept/oct/nov. I really do hope we get them. If the two BAF sets we were going to get were Bearer and Corporate Kane, Id have to say the stars are aliging haha. It sucks that I would be paying around $120 for three figures I wanted from that set. If they were at least $30 each it would be so much better. Im guessing its the Bearer set since mattel didnt reveal a WM 30 one? Also in the system though was a BAF elite set. No date on it yet but its likely to come! Hopefully this is the WM30 BAF elites! Only bad thing, estimated price is 39.99!! Btw I stand corrected, I meant basics 40. It was the khali set. Not 41. 41 seems boring besides Bryan. I just checked another and no Bryan. I'm convinced the biggest shelf warmers in our country are dolph and cena. They are absolutely everywhere. Oh man, Knox TRU is basically nothing BUT BAF Zigglers,when I was there last weekend there must be about 15 of them! Between that and the latest basic sets, he's everywhere! |

Honestly, I think Mattel owes us an explanation on this one. Given their extremely good track record when it comes to Kane, it doesnt make sense how much they dropped the ball on this one. Why is it a 12 year old mask? Why is it not the attire he has used since WM29? A prime opportunity to release the tank top but instead a complete rerelease of e22 with a different head? It just doesnt make sense. Why are they avoiding his tank top attire? The accuracy on this Kane practically stops at the globe, boots and wristband. The rest is wrong, just wrong. I don't think they owe us anything. I would have liked a new Tank Top Kane, seeing as it's been what? A Year and a half? But then again I wanted 28 to be a new head for Bryan and instead we got his 2012 Look. in 2014. An explanation would be nice because often it's extremely insightful when they tell us reasons for why they did things. I wish we could know how or why this Kane is as is because its just not even accurate for a time period at all even though Bryan was. The choices made on that E31 Kane are just boggling. |
