The way they put Heyman out there to hype Finn up was very telling about what the company thinks of him. I was in the same boat of people who didn't think Finn could hang with Brock realistically, but that promo changed my mind. I'm a huge Finn fan and even I was skeptical.
Honestly, I just want the belt off Lesnar whether Finn beats him straight up, dirty, interference by Gallows and Anderson, whatever. Get the belt off Lesnar ASAP.

It is also sad knowing that Finn could have been elite and it would have been $20...still cheaper than this one and this one is only basic. Come on Mattel, don't be like that. I gave you a pass with this Goldberg ring, but this better not become a trend.

I assume none of these figures are even under development yet so you're telling me one of these figures is gonna pop up in a retail elite set at this time next year? Will any of these guys even have jobs? Akira maybe, but come on. There are far more top priorities in the CW division than these three. I'd take a Noam Dar over any of these guys.

I need that Finn, but I can't justify paying $30 for a basic figure and a ring that I have no use for nor want.

I figured most people know by now that any new attire or championship winning figure that happens in the present is a good year or so out from being available. I remember AJ debuting in the Rumble and a number of members took to the forums immediately as if either
a) for some reason they thought there like...wouldn't be one
or
b) it would make Mattel work faster.

E49 spotted at Villa Park Target. Only Brutus, Apollo and Orton left. They also had basics of Charlotte, Finn and Austin Aries. Whatever set that is because I can't keep track anymore.

A match that ends in count out immediately disqualifies it from being good. Any GOOD match needs a winner.

I'm pretty sure that Basic Demon Balor will be sold with the NXT Superstar Ring exclusively at Target (along with the rest of the line). Aries/Bayley/Jose/Rollins are the four NXT Elites (each two per case). Almas/Dillinger/Itami/Joe/Owens/Zayn are the six NXT Basics (each two per case). The buildable Bayley Buddies should be packaged with the Basics. Elite Bayley may come with one of her own, or they might include the fourth one pictured (red?) with the exclusive ring. But you will almost definitely have to buy two NXT Basics to complete a Bayley Buddy. FGT42 - NXT Basics (UPC: 887961514322) ($12.99) FGT53 - NXT Ring + Exclusive Figure (Balor?) (UPC: 887961514438) ($29.99) FGT55 - NXT Elites (UPC: 887961514414) ($19.99) They're all said to be out in Target stores this fall. Wow. All I wanted was a Balor from TakeOver: The End and what do they do? Package it with a ring. Cmon Man.

Jinder Mahal can't possibly be a worse champion than Randy Orton. The WWE title scene has been a nightmare since the Royal Rumble and honestly I think putting the belt on Jinder would be a step in the right direction from what they've been doing lately with Orton and Bray.
I like SD's title scene more so than Raw because Raw you can predict the big match-ups they are working towards like Brock vs. Roman, Brock vs. Strowman, so you know what is filler and what isn't. Smackdown isn't as obvious so therefore Jinder winning the WWE title actually seems more likely to happen than it should.
EDIT: Just wanted to say Jinder WOULD be the kind of guy to win the WWE title and get busted for steroids within the next 24-48 hours.

Mattel has really neglected that era right before they took over WWE in 2010. The figures they made in 2010 were really from 2008/09 attires, but 2004-2008 gets very minimal love from Mattel. They're too hung up on their Tyhpoons and Tugboats of the world.

Honestly I assume it will be the same as his last Elite just with a different shirt. It will come with the Universal title and be the KO Show shirt. Sort of too close to his last elite, but they got to fill these sets somehow.

All the figures look awesome. I am not complaining one bit about any of them. However, in general...please stop using those giant knee pads like the ones on Hall. I never liked those. They were too big and too thick. Just didn't look right and mess with the articulation of the knee too much.

Roman's tribal tat makes him look extra strong. Mattel might be catching some heat for not making Roman look strong.

I wish this second elite versions of New Day would be in their pink attires, but I think they'll skip that and go right into whatever else they wore afterward.

Those belts are kind of a let down. Those are like the WWE title that came with WM31 Seth, but at least these are much better painted than the WWE title. If those belts had actual plates I would have bought them. Figures look great though.

I love small plastic representations of my interest. In my mind special moments, memories forever immortalized in plastic excite me. That is why I have a small trunk of just my action figures, not just WWE. The trunk is probably 20x10x15 inches. WWE, Power Rangers, Super heroes, Star Wars, etc. Just a trunk of all my interests in one easily manageable place.

Since it looks like the NXT Elites are Austin Aries and NWJ, what if NXT Rollins got moved to TNF?

oh man imagine if one of the next TNF 3 Packs is Gallows, Anderson and AJ. That would sellout everywhere since anything AJ sells out in addition to two first time in line elites.
