I am so beyond psyched. I had this Shredder originally pre ordered when neca was gonna releaae it 8 years or so back and then they cancelled it. The original comic version of Shredder has always been my favorite and he is one of my favorite characters of all time. Gonna have to jump On this preorder It's already sold out on Neca's site, so...good luck finding it now. Ugh why can NECA do no wrong with Turtles?! Because they're not Playmates. I fortunately got on there the minute it went on sale and managed to ordered two (the order limit) for myself. Ill post some boxed and loose pics when they arrive. So pumped, been wanting these for 8 years \m/-

Just picked up the Megabloks rooftop Mirage set w Leo and Shredder. So awesome, I really love the way these sets look being a massive fan of the original comics. Hope they make more sets in this style - they can do allt w this. Make a set w captured comics Splinter and the original krangs w robot bodies and even comic Baxter Stockman, fugitoid, Triceratops etc

I have no desire to see Goldberg come back. I was a fan of wwf and wcw during his heyday so i "get" why some may dig it but he never seemed to be meant to be a wrestler to me. He had the right vibe, right push at the right time and it all clicked flr a bit but his wwe run was abysmal. He has no real aptitude for the business, Im sure now being older it would be even harder to get a good match out of someone who likely is even more out of touch w it now than he was when he was still in it. There are only a small handful Of guys from that era Id dig seeing back and Goldberg is as far from one of em to me as can be

As others stated, I'd like an elite or network excl 92 ish version - elite. Long hair, kilt, shirt etc...
Also, I'd love if even as a sdcc exclusive, a They Live special edition fig w shirt, sunglasses ....it'd be nice to include his gun too but I know that might be too non PC

I love Flair, but he definitely holds onto some outdated ideals. He also comes from a place of his own personal emotions and lense.... He has never been great at being very objective. I definitely disagree with him here

It is another side effect of our culture. Social media and having online presence magnified everyones ego and need to show off to others. Many are more concerned with coming off a certain way to others on social media than actually enjoying the thing theyre discussing online.
I also think wrestlers all being on twitter etc does demystify things too. It is hard to view wrestlers as larger than life, almost untouchable beings when they post more dumb stuff on twitter than you do lol

Saw a bit here n there but towards the end of 96 i really got into it at about 9yrs old. Loved the morph of new generation into attitude - had all of the best hbk, bret, austins emergence, owen n bulldog, goldust, undertaker, kane debut etc.

To me, this is indicative of our current culture - very needy, very entitled and featuring minimal appreciation or atleast not focusing on the positives very much.
Ive been collecting since the onset of the BCA line in 96 and all i know is that, if then, i could see one of these current figures, i would have sh-- myself w excitement. Yes, there are qc things that pop up but i always remember seeing blotches or paint imperfections on toys and figures - and ive collected all kinds of stuff for literal decades.
My point is that OVERALL, the wrestling figures we have today are vastly superior to what we used to have to choose from. The detail, deco, variety, scale .... All of those things have been taken to high levels - so high that most complaining is really just overly magnified nitpicking
