Anytime someone mentions Indy Nation, I want to take part in another one. Nobody's gonna stop you! Time and lack of knowledge will.

Went back and looked through those "Indy Nation" split diaries. Amazing stuff. Really wish one would've taken off to be 10+ pages. Anytime someone mentions Indy Nation, I want to take part in another one.

Like I said, I enjoyed the film. Good action flick. Almost on par as the original, it was just more of the same. But they couldn't replicate the forming of the Avengers. That said, I can name three films I've seen this year which I preferred.
Now a few things I disliked about the movie (there would be plenty of good points but there's no point in listing them)
Didn't like how they were all together at the start. It was a badass beginning but maybe a flashback to them uniting.
Black Widow/Hulk relationship came outta nowhere and really damages Widow as a feminist character. Made her seem reliant on a man. Horrible.
Vision. Pretty bland and only showed up at the end.
The new Avengers. Esp War Machine and Falcon who are just the sidekicks to Iron Man/Cap.
I am going to see it again, maybe my views will change. I'm not saying it's a bad film, I very much enjoyed it. I just wanted to list my bad points.
Speaking of Winter Soldier, how cool would it have been to see him in a post credit scene just watching on (either after the wreckage or via TV coverage).

How do we know he won't just become a trainer? Hell, Drake Younger became a ref.

Champions Carnival Night 1 2016 Live only on SNW Player
We kick the tournament in the usual tradition, the group photo. Best reactions came from Bennett, Hart and Hammers.
1) Nick Jacobs [4] vs. Cody Rejero [13]: This was a good hot opener, Cody had the crowd on his side but Jacobs was still cheered, 70/30 for Cody. There was some good technical ground work at first before they kicked it into full gear for the final few minuites, Cody countered a brainbuster on the apron into a back body drop. Good to see Cody acting serious here, showing what he can do when he wants. Cody went for a springboard but got caught in a German Suplex, Jacobs followed it up with the Jacobs Drop to advance.
2) Safu [8] vs. Jet Jaguar [9]: A good old fashioned big man versus little man. Although this wasn’t too traditional, Jag had plenty of offence and played the clever game, keeping his distance. But when he got too close Safu destroyed him. Fans loved Jaguar. Jag kept going and picked up the big win with flying diving knees.
3) Ace Bennett [5] vs. Cameron Stone [12]: This was another interesting encounter, Stone is the stronger man and used this to his advantage but Ace is a young vet himself and knew how to deal with Stone. This was one of Stone’s best matches in SNW, if he does retire in SNW, he has had plenty of top matches over the last year. The Syracuse Lock earned Ace the submission victory.
4) Jordan Devine [2] vs. Jack Joseph [15]: After so much good action, this was a bit of a let down. Which is a massive blow for Devine who SNW are relying on as a top star. Jack didn’t help either and it will be interesting to see how SNW reacts to this. Jack missed the top rope Pele and Devine countered with the Devinity for the win.
5) Jack Powers [7] vs. Bret Thomas [10]: The crowd has been silenced after the last match and these two struggled to win them back. It wasn’t a bad match but it wasn’t a match good enough to reawaken the crowd. What didn’t help was that they both played heels. Thomas played the powerhouse well while Powers tried to ground him. Thomas powered out from a Camel Clutch and improvised well with the Fall for the win.
6) Kevin Hart [3] vs. Jason Williams [14]: Thankfully before SNW went into a break, the crowd were loud and cheering again thanks to these two Canadians. These two are friends outside of the ring and put on a great match to lead into the break. It was the best match on the show, which is a big compliment considering all the best in SNW were competing tonight. Jason hit a spectacular springboard Phoenix Splash to the floor which was when the crowd came unglued. This led to the finish as Hart caught Jason with a superkick from a springboard SSP. Jason kicked out and Kev then hit the Maple Leaf Revenge to win.
Intermission. Fans were thankful for the last match. They are unsure about the final two matches. No-one came out at the break which was disappointing.
7) Mike Bockwinkel [6] vs. Steven Kagemann [11]: Fans didn’t need to be unsure over this match because this was an absolute treat. It’s hard to think of a time when these two faced off before because they are so different but that is what made an interesting match. Bock went traditional while Kagemann used his trademark reckless style with kicks, dives and stiffness. This made Bock go more shoot which led to Kagemann being busted open and a spectacular shoot finish. Kagemann came out on the strike fest with a trio of kicks, the last to a kneeling Bock’s face. Kagemann then went up top and hit the amazing Fire Tornado for the win. Fans loved this stiff bout.
8) SNW: Chris Hammers [1] vs. Jacob Ryler [16]: There were a lot of concerns over Ryler main eventing and challenging for the title but Ryler proved the doubters wrong here. Although usually a jobber, Ryler started off in SNW as a main eventer, he showed that he had that in him again here. Although it wasn’t the best match on the card it was still a great classic main event, with big moves and plenty of near falls. Ryler ducked the Lariat and locked in a small package for a very close call. The finish came after Ryler missed the Broken and Beaten legdrop, Hammers followed it up Lariat and the Last Minute Orders.

Tony Hawk used to be the bomb. American Wasteland is one of my favourite games of all time, that sound track too, insane. The Underground games were sick too, loved the story on them.
But TH series faded and Skate 3 is a great game, lots of stuff to do on there. And is a game I go back to like once every two months because there's always fun to be had.
Looking forward to the new TH though, interested in what they do with it.

Just got back from seeing Avengers, probably one of the worst cinema experiences I've ever had. I literally couldn't tell you anything that happened in the movie because I couldn't focus on it due to the people behind me. "Heh" after every single line. EVERY LINE. I got up to about middle of the movie, the Black Widow: "Do I always have to pick up after you boys?" part (as not to spoil) and after that I stopped trying to follow the story because there was no point because I hadn't been able to keep track for the first half. So I spoke with the manager and she said there's literally nothing they could do about it because we hadn't left the movie, and if we did the most they would've done would be move us and them. So they wanted me to get up mid movie speak with the manager and miss 10/15 mins of the movie just to be sat somewhere else, no I paid my money I should get a fair viewing of the movie like everyone else. There were ushers at the back (we were 2/3 rows infront of them, so they would've seen this going on) and one of them actually served me my tickets, saying he saw the movie at midnight. So he was standing there not doing his job watching a movie he saw less than 12 hours before. Cineworld Going to catch the movie again in a different cinema when I can. I work in a cinema. And I would have suggested you gone out and complained, it wouldn't have lasted long. Just state the problem and let them handle it. If it was me, I would have just moved. Sorry about your experience though, it sucks.

Dammit, thought I'd be the first one here to see it.
It's as good as the first. I don't want to go into any details yet. But there's some great scenes in it and plenty little hints as to what is to come

That move only worked because of Kendrick. He held her weight and span her around. That's not going to work against another Diva.

A lot of the people mentioned just look good for their age or look younger now than they did years ago.
The one person that came to mind when thinking of 'wrestlers that just don't age' is Taka Michinoku. Dude's got a painting in his attic.

Breaking News Commentator Edward Colgate leaves SNW, staff shake up
Edward ‘The Genius’ Colgate, SNW’s lead commentator has left the promotion. Colgate has been with the company for many years, first as backstage staff then in front of the camera as a manager and then commentator. Colgate first appeared in front of the camera as the manager of the ‘Ultimate Jock’ Patrick Everson. But once Everson fizzled out of SNW, Colgate took up a commentator seat and has been calling matches alongside James Simmons for the last few years.
Colgate leaves SNW and is heavily expected to join rival promotion Alt:Pro. Colgate is close friends with his former client Everson and in leaving SNW, this will allow Colgate to tour the indies more with Everson. SNW were reportedly a little taken back by Colgate’s decision not to sign a contract extension but were quick to announce an all new staff line-up.
Previously, SNW hasn’t made any announcements regarding staff. But after Colgate’s departure, the company has decided to give full disclosure on the staff and also some new faces:
Play by Play Commentator: James Simmons – Simmons has been on commentating duty for the last few years alongside Colgate. Simmons was a former wrestler in SNW, known best for his team with Jordan Devine as UK’s Finest. Colour Commentator: Drew Parkland – The Original 16 member, retired from action last year at Riot Act and has been keeping busy running Synergy and SNW’s academy. One half of the most decorated tag team in SNW, now adds to his repertoire by taking up a permanent commentary role. Announcer: Peter D’Angelo – Unlike other announcers, SNW’s ring announcer is never in the ring, he does the announcing backstage. The name may not be familiar but the face would be if you saw him, complete with eye patch, sword and parrot. Senior Referee: Nicky Hernandez – Nicky has been with SNW since the very beginning and begins his new role as SNW’s senior referee. Referee: Adam Keith – The bald headed 6 footer has been with SNW for a number of years. His other job as a security guard makes him a referee you don’t want to mess with. Referee: Enzo Stile – Enzo is the nephew of Original 16 member Bruddah Stile who was apart of Just Another Gangsta team, a tag team who didn’t last long in SNW, as Stile picked up an injury and decided to leave wrestling but Bruddah’s connection with SNW allowed him to get his nephew a job in SNW. Enzo has been working at Synergy for a while now and will make his SNW debut at the next show. Interviewer: Katie Foster - Alicia Bennett has been on interviewing duties as of late but SNW it wasn’t right considering her history with a lot of SNW’s roster and her affiliation with her brother and Matt Spade. Katie is Dave Demento’s girlfriend but that is not expected to be used in storyline.

I'm catching up on this. I love what your doing with the era. You've really shaped it into your own. Camp Cornette is awesome and Vader coming in should be rad. Hope he dominates. So much talent around even the Thrillseekers are here. Not sure about HHH in the main event esp at such a big event like Summerslam. But whatevs you know best. Diesel and Shawn should put on a classic for the tag titles. I guess the submission match will end with a screwy finish so they can face off again at Summerslam. Luger/Taker also sounds good too. I like the Bam Bam push would be epic to see him powerbomb Bundy. Goldust should be cool too. Good luck, I gotta keep up with this more.

Alt:Pro – Through the Looking GlassThe show opened with two sets of men who faced off at the last show squaring off in tag team action. Dane Warron and Kris Havok took on Ron Crockett and Christopher Kennedy Jones. Good booking by Alt:Pro since Havok/CKJ sucked last time but pairing them with Warron and Crockett got the crowd interested in them. Warron still looks awesome and is a stand out athlete from Alt:Pro. CKJ hit Havok with a chair leading to Crockett winning with the German Suplex pin on Warron. Cue the boo's. The Blaze Brothers successfully defended their tag titles against DJ Hughes and Tom Felix. The match was pretty one sided but the Blaze Bros made it work. The Blaze’s won with the T-Bone Suplex/Corkscrew Moonsault Leg Drop. Twisted Assassin continued his mean streak, this time against Vincent Valintino. However, Valintino was the first person to do some damage to Assassin after a jumping kick. The fans actually wowed at the sight of Assassin stumbling back. It was short lived as Assassin then went in full control and squashed him with the Assassin’s Fury. Last time out, Arthur Williams beat Jake Swindell thanks to his tag partner Rory Wiseman. On tonight’s show, Wiseman faced Swindell. The match was noticeably worse, Williams is a better worker. The story of the match was Swindell trying to deal with both men. The match ended with the same result, a distraction from outside led to Swindell being rolled up. In an attempt to make up for the one sided tag titles bout Tobias Black and Nate Ryan took on Antonio Benitez and Pablo 'Speedy' Gonzalez. This was a fast and fun affair between the boys from Detroit and the Mexicans. Fans got really into it especially during the closing stages where the match turned into a spotfest. A Spanish Fly from Benitez got the win, commentators put over them as future challengers to the tag titles. But fans seem to prefer Black and Ryan. ‘Hollywood’ Vincent Fury took on Matt. This could have main evented a show but they followed the break tonight and so were given less time. There was no Arsenic at ringside, as he has a title bout tonight. The match went back and forth until some cheating tactics gave Fury the edge. An exposed turnbuckle led to the Fury Strike and the win. Wiseman and Williams came out and said they were ready for a tag team title shot. Alt:Pro owner Zachary Miller came out and said he didn’t want the title on a ‘reckless’ team like the Blaze Brothers but said Wiseman and Williams have already failed. He gave the British twosome one more chance and announced a 2/3 falls tag title match for the next show. It was a war up next as rivals Alexander Kuleshov and Phenom faced off in a match dubbed ‘Anything Goes’, It was a good brawl which suited both men. The Russian towers over Phenom but Phenom is much more at home with weapons. There were some good spots including the finish where Phenom went to elbow drop Kuleshov through a table but the Russian got up, hit a kitchen sink kick and double hand chokeslamed Phenom through the table for the win. A good bout albeit a little basic for the rivalry blow-off. The World title was on the line in the main event as champion A.J Matthews took on challenger Johnny Arsenic. This match came about after Arsenic pinned AJ in tag action at the last show. There was lots of stalling early on which caused the fans to get tired about midway through the match. They managed to get the crowd back for the final few minutes but the match went to a 30 minute time limit. Fans hated the finish and blamed the owner, chanting "F*** you Miller!" Quick Results: 1) Dane Warron and Kris Havok def. Ron Crockett and Christopher Kennedy Jones 2) TAG: Blaze Brothers def. DJ Hughes and Tom Felix (Defence 2) 3) Twisted Assassin def. Vincent Valintino 4) Rory Wiseman w) Arthur Williams def. Jake Swindell 5) Tobias Black and Nate Ryan def. Antonio Benitez and Pablo 'Speedy' Gonzalez 6) Vincent Fury def. Matt 7) Anything Goes: Alexander Kuleshov def. Phenom 8) WORLD: A.J Matthews drew Johnny Arsenic (Defence 2)
