Finally received the first figurine in the WWE Championship Collection of figurines from Eaglemoss/Hero Collector, after having paid for it over 2 weeks ago. AJ Styles. It looks pretty good, and I really like the box it comes in. Unfortunately, I noticed that there is a little dent on the right of his abdomen. Debating whether it's worth asking for a replacement or not.

I really enjoyed last night's RAW. Loved the surprise call-up of the team formerly known as War Raiders. At first I was annoyed by the name change like everyone else, but then I read Gorilla Position's tweet about it being done to avoid backlash from parents. I can completely understand why they'd change it in that case. The Viking Experience isn't exactly a bad name. Changing their individual names still makes no sense to me though. It sounds like they're trying to turn them into a cartoonish Viking gimmick, rather than just two big guys who happen to take inspiration from the Vikings. Either way, as long as they can achieve success on the main roster, do their names really matter?
I get the feeling that they're putting a lot of effort into the RAW Tag Team division going forward, with Aleister Black & Ricochet, the Viking Experience, and the Usos all landing on RAW. That's three serious teams there with a ton of talent.
Andrade, Rey Mysterio, and AJ Styles are all great choices. Especially AJ. AJ had pretty much done it all on SDL. It's time for him to shine on RAW.
Really baffling interaction between EC3 and Braun Strowman. Right when they FINALLY decide to use EC3, they have him squashed by a randomly angry Braun Strowman? Why is Braun mad? Why did he brutalise EC3 for no apparent reason? Was this another nonsensical heel turn?
Becky's title run is going well so far. I'm thrilled she's still being booked strong. I'm quite looking forward to Becky Lynch VS Lacey Evans. It was a good decision for Lacey to turn her Woman's Right into a signature move rather than a finishing move.

Despite how poor both the RAW and SmackDown Live after Mania episodes were, I'm surprisingly looking forward to the superstar shake-up tonight.
A few predictions: AJ Styles, Becky Lynch or Charlotte Flair to RAW. Boss 'n' Hug Connection and Drew McIntyre to SmackDown Live. Definitely think Aleister Black and Ricochet will get split up as well. I think we'll also see Pete Dunne and the Undisputed Era arrive.

Well, at least now she's debunked all of these rumours:
I always tend to immediately distrust anything exclusively reported by Ryan Satin anyway. It seems that all the rumours he ever puts out first turn out to be just that: rumours. Not to mention that I find the idea of two people who've made it this far as professionals would ever behave so unprofessionally, no matter how disappointed they may have been by the decision. Sounded like a character assassination right from the start.

Very surprising news if true about Sasha Banks. I honestly don't know whether to believe it or not. On one hand, Banks has always seemed very happy just to be in WWE, and has never showed interest in leaving to go elsewhere, and it's seemed like just being in WWE has always been her dream. But on the other hand, it would be very easy to understand her frustration with the company. She fought so hard for Vince to agree to create the titles, and when they finally get them and start what should have been a long and prestigious run, it gets taken away from them. It was a complete bullcrap booking decision for them to lose at WrestleMania. Nothing against the IIconics, they should have won them eventually, but the Boss 'n' Hug Connection should have had a long run to make the first run really prestigious. Not only that, but only being told last minute that she'd be dropping the title adds even more bullcrap to the decision. At least she was a professional enough to do her job, go out and drop the titles. Not only that, but Sasha has been booked horrendously for the past 2 years. In my opinion, she's one of the most talented stars in the company, and she should be top of her division. It would be incredibly easy to understand a long build-up of frustration. Honestly, if Sasha Banks were to leave and go elsewhere, I would watch whatever company she chose to go to. I havent looked into it but I have caught a glimpse of something where she was upset that Peyton said she idolized Eddie/wore gear inspired by him. Just goes to show how immature, and childish she is. Just because Eddie was your idol, doesn't mean no one else can respect and pay tribute to him. Instead of being upset that someone has Eddie inspired gear, why not embrace it and be happy that Eddie was also someone else's idol, and they're paying tribute to him. Come on, you honestly believe that? It's clear from social media and consistent praise for the IIconics from Banks, that Sasha and Peyton are friends. I'm sure a mutual adoration for Eddie is part of that. I don't believe that story for a second, and it seems ludicrous at best.

It is absolutely pathetic, and I can't understand how some "fans" think of it as acceptable behaviour, with some even thinking that they're entitled to stalk the wrestlers simply because they're celebrities!
Yes, celebrities know what they're getting into and understand that they're going to be scrutinised. But that doesn't mean they deserve to have their privacy disturbed because of people who claim to be "fans".
If these "fans" want an autograph so badly, then they should hang around for them at the arena, or attend autograph signings. They should not be tracking them down at their hotel. After they've left the show, wrestlers are just normal people and are entitled to their privacy when they're not performing. "Fans" are not entitled to disturb their privacy.

and Bliss has had enough success for an entire career already. Funny coming from a fan of AJ Lee. If you're going to spend time quoting me, at least put the effort into a half-decent reply. AJ Lee had literally nothing to do with anything in this thread. Why on earth you're deciding to bring her up in a poor attempt at a cheap shot is beyond me. I get it, you're SUPER obsessed with Alexa Bliss. That's great, good for you. It's nice to be a fan of someone. But you really don't have to respond to anyone who says even the slightest bit of negativity towards her. Sasha Banks is my personal favourite wrestler, and I constantly see negative posts towards her on here. But you don't see me responding to them, do you? Maybe you should think of backing off a little bit.

Download WrestlePlus and change the gender of which superstars you want to use. Does it work with alt attires and movesets? Yeah, should do. If you run into any problems or need help, post in the WrestlePLUS thread on the Smacktalks forum.

Well, that was the most underwhelming RAW after WrestleMania, that I can recall. No surprise debuts, no call-ups, and the only return that was a complete surprise is one that I'm long past caring for. Not to mention the baffling main event. What makes the RAW after WrestleMania so special each year are the surprises. The entire night should be full of them. Instead we had nothing. It was just like any other random RAW that could have taken place any other time of the year. The opening segment was good. I groaned internally when they announced the title for title match though. I don't want any title unification. Still, Seth VS Kofi is a fantastic match-up. Not a fan of Hawkins and Ryder retaining their titles. After having their WrestleMania moment, they should have dropped the titles back to the Revival. Plus, what happened to "no more automatic championship rematches"? Why do we have them again? Nice to see Lars Sullivan finally make his debut, even if we all knew it was likely coming last night. I feel he should have brutalised Angle a lot more to really make a statement though. Seems like they're maybe teasing turning the Boss 'n' Hug Connection heel, with Bayley wrestling a far more aggressive style than normal. Yet again though, Bayley couldn't beat Bliss. Bayley really needs to beat Bliss at some point to finally make up somewhat for how poorly Bayley was handled in their 2017 feud. Both Sasha and Bayley deserve far better treatment than they've gotten in the past 2 years, and Bliss has had enough success for an entire career already. I much preferred her in a non-wrestling role. Nice to see Becky given time to give a promo on her big WrestleMania win. And...Lacey Evans interrupts her? After months of having Lacey Evans replace Tamina as the most useless woman on the roster, THIS is what they do to stop their mishandling of Lacey Evans and finally have her actually do something? This is what Lacey Evans should have been doing 2 months ago, not after 2 months of being utterly useless. She's been so useless for so long, she's no longer a credible threat to anyone! Still, it was nice to finally have them use her, and nice for Becky to still stand triumphant after the sneak attack. Nice to see Ricochet and Aleister Black get a win after unfortunately losing at WrestleMania. I still don't understand why on earth Bobby Roode and Chad Gable are a team. I don't have any problems with Lashley's attack on Ambrose. Still not convinced that Ambrose is actually leaving WWE. Why are they devoting any airtime at all to Mojo Rawley? Complete waste of time. Fantastic to see Sami Zayn back, as we all knew he would be returning. Why would they advertise it and not keep it as a surprise though? That took away from it a bit, I feel. But I loved his verbal attack on the audience for being angry smarks! I can totally support that gimmick! Why on earth did Undertaker return? He should have ended his career years ago. I just really cannot get excited to see him anymore, he's far far far past his prime, and it's a bit sad really. The main event was a complete mistake. Why the did the Bar of all people interrupt?! There's absolutely no reason for them to be on RAW at all, let alone interrupting a World title match! I expected a surprise attack on both men to stop the match, but I expected the Undisputed Era, not the Bar! Big missed opportunity there, in my opinion. They completely mishandled most of the show in my opinion. That's the problem with advertising multiple NXT call-ups months ago, and then not doing anything with them until the RAW after WrestleMania. They're no longer a surprise. The RAW after WrestleMania should always be filled with surprises, and we only had a couple, and neither were that great. Absolutely bewildering creative decisions all night long.

WrestleMania got off to a good start with an entertaining short segment, and Heyman storming to the ring to demand that Lesnar's match goes on first kept it unique and interesting. Rollins had a really cool intro. I was (and still am) so overjoyed that Rollins won! RAW finally has a World title again! Seth Rollins really deserves it. One of the best wrestlers in the entire world. Let's hope desperately that Lesnar s off now. Completely sick of him bringing the brand down. Good match between Randy Orton and AJ Styles. Thankfully, AJ came out victorious. One of my most highly anticipated matches of the night, and they delivered. Great match for the SmackDown Live Tag Team titles. Can't argue with the Usos retaining, even if I'd have preferred Aleister Black & Ricochet to win the titles. We finally got our first pre-match video package of the night, and it was a really good one for Miz VS Shane. You can never underestimate the importance of a well-edited video package. Despite misgivings about the match-up itself, they've told a really good story. That Falls Count Anywhere match between Miz and Shane was INSANE!! One of my least anticipated matches beforehand, and it was one of the best match of the night! Some REALLY crazy spots! I really liked the WrestleMania gear colour scheme of both Boss 'n' Hug Connection and the IIconics. I was quite disappointed with the result of the Womens Tag Team title match. I'd hoped for a lengthy reign for Sasha & Bayley to start making the titles prestigious. The first champions only hold the titles for 2 months and lose them on their second defense? Especially with their history of how badly they mishandled Sasha's title reigns? They promised to defend the titles across NXT and NXT: UK. Now that they've lost the titles, they can't do that anymore. They promised to do something and never delivered. At least if anyone had to win the titles, it was the IIconics. IIconics definitely deserved to win the titles at some point, but not now. Hopefully Boss 'N' Hug Connection win the titles back at the next PPV and actually have a long and prestigious reign, because now they've ed up the title's first reign. Huge missed opportunity to not bring SOS back for Kofi. I can't really take him seriously as a singles star when he's still coming out with the New Day theme, entrance, etc, as much as I want him to win. Kofi did it! Kofi is the WWE Champion! I honestly never in a million years ever imagined that this could happen, but it did! And we got the good title design back! Honestly, I would have been happy with just about anybody taking the title from Bryan, but I'm even more pleased that it was Kofi. What the was that US title match?! I looked away for a few seconds, and it was already over! I guess Rey's ankle must have been too hurt for a real match. Good match between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre. Feel-good win for Roman. Both men looked strong, so it worked well. WOAH!! Thuganomics John Cena is back! Never thought he'd ever return to this gimmick! Hilarious segment, and normally I hate rap with a passion. Shawn Michaels was just fantastic on commentary! Please have him commentate more! Triple H VS Batista was a far better match than I expected. Very uncomfortable to start with, but some cool spots. Why the was that crowd cheering for JBL?! HAHAHA WHAT THE - Still my only reaction to Corbin beating Angle clean. Demon Finn VS Bobby Lashley was a pretty good match for it's length. Lashley's suicide spear was great, Finn powerbombing Lashley was insane! Demon Balor finally came to WrestleMania and Finn got his WrestleMania moment! Finn is Intercontinental Champion once again! YES!!!!! SHE DID IT!!! BECKY LYNCH IS THE UNDISPUTED WOMEN'S CHAMPION!! It still absolutely sucks that WWE booked such a shitty finish when they really should have ended the show with a bang. I will never understand what on earth made anyone think that it was a good idea. But Becky winning at all was the only ending I'd ever accept. Even if they handled it atrociously, at least they had the sense to make it happen. It's just a shame that that sense didn't translate into how it happened. At least it was a good match before the ending. Overall, I'd give this WrestleMania an 8/10. Some really good moments, a couple of surprises, some feel-good moments, but a couple of horrendous creative decisions brought the show down. Regardless, this was still one of the best WrestleManias of all-time.

It's a bit shitty to have such a screwy finish with Ronda's shoulders clearly not down properly, but it is better than not having Becky win at all. Of course we all wanted her to win decisively, but they clearly have more planned, though I don't know why when this should have been the end.
But all in all, a really good WrestleMania! Only a couple of questionable booking decisions. But some really great matches! Honestly, the 7 and a half hours flew by, and never felt like it dragged at any time. That's all you can ask for, really.

Not a bad match with a couple of nice moves, but not sure how I feel about Revival losing the titles. I don't mind Hawkins finally winning for a comedic/feel-good moment, but doesn't feel right coming at the expense of the Revival when they deserve better.

No. I have all the respect for Natalya as a person. She's always come across as an incredibly kind and caring individual outside of the ring. But unfortunately, she's also one of the most boring superstars on the roster, and I've never found her entertaining throughout her entire career.

They've already edited it out on the Network. Good thing too, the waste of a human being responsible doesn't deserve the attention.
I've believed for years that fans should not attend the Hall of Fame. It should only be wrestlers, company employees, friends, and family present. They ruin speeches by trying to start chants, boo wrestlers just for being there, and now we had this scary situation last night. Any other night, chants and booing would be absolutely fine. But I personally believe that the Hall of Fame should be a night of pure respect, and there should be no room for any type of disrespect. Of course fans cheering and chanting in support of inductees does add to it, I won't deny that. But they can also take away from it (Rikishi with Roman Reigns in 2015 is the prime example). And last night proved that disgustingly crazy things like this can happen.

NXT TakeOver: New York was incredible! What a main event!!! After 2 years of chasing the title, Johnny Gargano has finally won the NXT Championship!! Absolutely phenomenal long-term storytelling, and to cap it all off, Ciampa shows up to embrace Gargano. This is why I love pro wrestling!! I have zero problems with all the finisher kick-outs, because this is really the only match that warranted it. Gargano has been working so hard for the past 2 years, and continuously come so close, that there was no way he could possibly stay down at any time. It was now or never for Johnny Gargano to finally win the big one. The long-term storytelling warranted it.
On the negative side, I still think that the Womens Championship result was complete bullcrap! Shayna should have lost the title long ago, and last night was the perfect opportunity. So now, the NXT Women's division continues being stagnant. Incredibly rare for NXT to make a mistake. I think this is the only result in NXT history which I have STRONGLY disagreed with. I've watched Shayna during her whole run, and I still find her boring. They have so many more talented superstars in Bianca Belair, Kairi Sane, Io Shirai, Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai (when she returns), that there really is no excuse to keep wasting the talents of a roster like that for such a long length of time.

I was just thinking yesterday about how it's time for them to change the NXT theme/intro style, and how the advertisement video for NXT TakeOver: New York seems to hint at it with "a new chapter", and here we are!
Honestly, I'm not a fan of the new theme. But then again, I wasn't a fan of the current theme at first, but I eventually grew to like it. So hopefully the same thing will happen again. And even though I immediately dislike the full theme, there's every possibility that they can edit the TV edit down to something much better.
The song choice aside though, I really love all the shots of the NXT roster in the ring! I really hope at least one or two make it into the new intro. Really excited to see what the new intro will look like!

That music girl with the spiders needs her ing face kicked in, the place I don't wanna be seeing spiders is on a wrestling show.... Couldn't agree more. The track sounds fine, but that music video is horrendous. Hate it every single time they show it each week. Spiders are the worst.
