Hi Steve,
Can you shed some light on why’s going on with the Superstars line, more specifically series 8 & now 9.
Independent sellers are getting multiple cases of these figures and we have hardly seen series 8 at retail (very few Walmarts got them, since none have shown up again since Christmas) and now series 9 is available.
Really want this line to succeed (favorite up there with Ultimates!) but, the distribution and availability has been all over the place for entering of the line.
Has there been any discussions to offer these on Mattel Creations like Retros or even possibly with Ringside Collectibles? The current retailer isn’t making it easy for collectors to buy the product.

Haynes was unfortunately like walking CTE. Not making light of it by any means, but he was off the deep end for the last several years, dude went missing for a while supposedly. Claimed to have witnessed the two boys run over in the train tracks - all kinds of crazy stuff. I’ve heard some shoot interviews from his peers who have said he was always crazy.
Sad situation if true, prayers to the family.

Rock turning on Roman to help Cody win at Mania would be incredible. Easily sets up Rock vs. Roman next year at Mania in the main event. I mean I get it, but Cody needs the clean win. No screwy finish. Clean 1-2-3 middle of the ring no interference. They’ve saved this for me though, glad they are going with Cody and maybe we still get rock and Roman also. Maybe a triple threat |

A triple threat does actually work to the favor of the rock, just to cover up any exhaustion or fatigue he might have. Gotta think he will be gassed quick in a one-on-one with Roman. With Cody in the mix they can disguise that some.

no way they actually give us rock vs roman at mania right? the way they’re mentioning the outcry and not having Cody explain yet? Don’t know man, they way they tee’d it up as “we hope to get answer about Rock vs Roman and Cody vs Rollins at the press event Thursday” scream that they are wanting to make those matches but don’t want it to be in front of packed arena that’ll definitely crap on them. Here’s to hoping I’m wrong and we get a triple threat and a mens chamber where the winner faces Rollins. |
