I built my own. It was time consuming, but surprisingly easy, and rewarding.

Lots of people stating this is happens every year.....previously it was normally the other way around.
Mattel share market value had more than halved this year. It was bigger than Hasbro, now Hasbro is valued twice is much as Mattel!! Perfect time for a hostile takeover!

Bought DM Jericho from Smyths. Also got Corey Graves from TRU for £9.99. Don’t know why people slag it off so much, it’s not as bad as people make out to be. Granted the rest of the series is crap but Corey is ok besides his stubble should not be looking like a beard. Nothing else worth buying for their 3 for 2 offer so just left it at Corey. If Corey ate jazz and grew a beard, he might look like that!

Over on the internet does not equal over. At WM, the Aries-Neville match, which had been a good feud on TV, was supposed to get the crowd off to a good start. In reality, the crowd had ZERO interest. I mean, that’s not true from where I was sitting. You could hear a pin drop in a 60000 seat stadium

The majority of us despise this arm articulation change. Unfortunately, the only thing we can do is NOT buy what we don't like. If you hate this change, don't buy them, it's the only way to get through to Mattel. It has to affect their bottom line. For those happy with these changes, why belittle the majority of us and our opinions.
Firstly, why do you hate the change? I'm interested to know.
Secondly, because the opinions in general amounted to a lot of embarrassing whinging. I don't care about the arms either way. It's just not important. But the reasons that people were throwing up were laughable at best.

Basically, you missed the biggest unwarranted hissy fit in the history of WWE Mattel.
And Threads laden with innaccurate statements about competing figure lines and articulation.
I'm going to sum up in just 3 bullet points
- The articulation is more like a human arm. How many of you have rotation in the arm, between the bicep and shoulder blade? (Clue, If you do you are a freak)
- If you stated that other lines would not do this, you are wrong. Lots of Legends, Neca, Multiverse and Star Wars Black Series figures have this articulation. I opened a multiverse TV Flash, and a Legends Captain America just yesterday with these arms.
- People are just scared of change, and differences. it makes no odds to me, I only display figures, I do not play. I actually find them more aesthetically pleasing, than the boulder shoulders and extra joint.
I’m so happy you’ve cleared everyone’s issue with the shoddy new basics by belittling our opinions and putting your opinion first as if it were scripture or something. And I'm sorry that the now generation are going to be constantly disappointed in life.

And don't forget how the change was made to save money so they can launch the WWE Superstars (girl dolls) line or Monster figures or whatever other new lineup that pisses people off for some reason. These people think that 3 people work at Mattel. It's a blue chip company, not a local kwik e mart.

Their rep on here has been dreadful. On ebay they were known a few years ago to not only be the biggest scalpers,, but give sob stories accompanied by low ball offers. Think they’ve cleaned up their act.

I actually got some fantastic deals from Toys and Masks at London Film and Comic Con but online they seem to charge higher than other places. Fair enough. I’d actually like to meet them, it seems they are trying their best to kill the bad name that was s0phzzz

These 2-pks sucked. Not a good way to start these. Hopefully the hall of champions series has an elite multipack but I'm not expecting it. It's not that they sucked, the UW and Shango pack is cool but they shouldn't have started with that and the Wild Samoans. The older collector niche is getting smaller and smaller. There's less older people collecting now than let's say 2010 when Mattel started. It's hard justifying making anything pre-1980's cause all those fans of anything earlier has its fanbase shrinking and shrinking. Maybe that's why the hall of fame is stopping...they've run out of names that sell.... The stupid part was yet another re release. Re-release's have not worked at all.

Still can't justify the Warrior for that. Already got Shango. Can't justify $15 for a Warrior elite with a new headsculpt? GTF outta here. It's embarrassing talk, I don't know why you would honour it with your time.

Toys and masks are a good online retailer who are British based. They get figures and at a steady reasonable price. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH

Speaking of "sought after", has anyone managed to order an Alexa Bliss from Smyths? I had to check each day for them to come back in and managed to place an order before they sold out again. I can't remember the last time a current non special edition figure was so difficult to get hold of. That is pure laziness on their part. They have hundreds in stock in store.

I only ever used them when stuff was dirt cheap, and hence they no longer exist....
Disagree with the comments re wrestling figures not being sought after...... agree with the price being too expensive. And that is nothing to do with Mattel, that is Brexit for you.
And it's across the board from MacBooks to Nike trainers.

All the new elites are down to 16.99.
Alexa must be the 3 per pack because every store has loads, and its the best figure for ages.
