I want Magnum and Windham figures as bad as anyone, but with Mattel, I have to believe Doink stands a better chance of being released than either of those guys. He is colorful, was strictly a WWE character, and is much more likely to be purchased by kid who has no clue who he is than a Magnum or Windham figure would be. If it doesn't appeal to kids in some way, then Mattel isn't releasing it. Look at the Flashbacks we've got so far. They are either older looks of current/recently retired superstars (Taker, Michaels, Edge, Christian, Lawler, Kane, Booker, Nash) or they are flashy/gimmicky characters that will catch kids' eyes (Shango, Bossman, Yokozuna, Mankind, Honky). I guess the one exception would be Elizabeth, but as we all know, it was originally scheduled to be released on Matty Collector. Totally agree dude! He would be an amazing looking figure and would sell extremely well. |

not likely. MDT has said that since the winners of the poll didnt sell well that they don't have faith that the "losers" would sell any better. They said they were all possibilities but not very high ones. I would imagine that the guys that came in closest to the finals would go first (Magnum & Windham) Call me crazy but I would never think that a King Kong Bundy figure would over sell a doink figure lol. I think the same goes for the brian busters. they did a good job on em but they don't have mass appeal like Doink would. Put it this way ,Jakks doinks still sell for 20+ But jakks brain buster and Bundys...not so much lol |

I remember he was one of the choices when Mattel put up the voting for the final legends on matty collector(he was my first pic). I feel that Mattel would knock him out of the park! The colors would pop and I'm sure he would sell well.

 I think the jakks doink head is big for mattel and i don't have it anyway. so here is my wip using mattel head. Still undecided how to do the hair though.. Looking good bud! The way that scan looks you should def make that heel doink tho. |

Tensai is getting his entrance gear, so no worries  Hopefully Sandow gets a cloth robe, because it would be a shame if Sandow gets screwed and is given a plastic robe so that Tensai could get the entrance attire he legit wore 3 times. He wore it 3X..But it looked awesome! lol |
