not sure this is the BEST way but this is how i do it and it never messed up any of my figs. I open my door, put the figure head in the door jam, close the door till its snug on the head and I pull like hell on the body. The head pops right off. To put them back on you just put it on the other body and use a little force and shove it down.

I need to know about this too. Ive never done a headswap before and have a fear that i will wreck the figures, how can it best be done?
Ive heard of putting it into hot water but wont that ruin the paintjob?

Ok well Ive just tried the option of placing it in the door - it does work and the peg doesn't snap - HOWEVER depending on the door it might cause some paint wear on the head so be careful. The best way Kane, is to actually use your hands (need a bit of strength here) just put your thumb under the chin and try pop the head off. You wont snap the peg like that nor will you cause any paint wear to the head. Just requires some brute force. As said, To put them back on you just put it on the other body and use a little force and shove it down. Good luck!

Good luck! yeah i should of mentioned i have a pansy like particle board door and the frame is also soft, not like a steel door or hard woods or anything. also i don't put it in there tight as tight can get just snug. i've tried ripping them off with just my hands before and that just got frustrating, almost as frustrating as when the head pulls off but the peg stays in the body. that is the worst.

I find you do not even need to boil the water just place your thumb under the poor Figures Chin and push back and decapitate it there is really nothing to this operation since my brother was able to get it at 3
Also this is locked since you could have looked in the FAQ post and found videos on this
