Naslaund scoring a goal in his first game as a Ranger in what was a pretty good game. Gotta love the Rangers.

even 0-2, i'm not disappointed because we have been playing great. we will eventually get enough goals and our goalies are playing great.

even 0-2, i'm not disappointed because we have been playing great. we will eventually get enough goals and our goalies are playing great. The Lightning looked like a young team from the two games I saw. I'm not saying that as an insult, I just thought the Rangers looked like an all-around better team than them in both games...much better puck possession, faster, better endurance. I really like what I've seen from the Rangers in these two games, especially today with completely shutting down St. Louis and Lecavlier. We were just dominant. We should have won both games a lot easier than we did, but we just didn't finish scoring chances. The Lightning will be a fantastic team, though...Stamkos is going to be a hell of a player for you guys. He's got a lot of confidence for a kid his age, Melrose just needs to give him way more ice time than he's gotten in the first two games. They could definitely win their division this year since I think the Caps are the only team in that division to give them a run for their money. It might take a year or two, but the Lightning are going to be a sick team within the next few years when they gain more familiarity with each other and their kids continue to mature and gain experience. Anyway, it was great for us to get these four points since we have 6 games in 9 days when we get back to the US. Really, really good start for us...I was concerned about the offense, but I think we'll score if we continue getting these kinds of chances. Naslund-Gomez-Drury looks like an incredible line...all of those guys look like completely different players on the same lines together. Drury on the wing, especially, has more room to do different things instead of being restricted to the center of the ice.

Here in Ottawa, after Sundays game, who do you start in net , Gerber or Auld? Auld looked really good against the pens yesterday, so I say keep him in net until he fails. But we seriously need a real goalie.
