I figured now would be a good time to post this. It feels nice to make something again, and even though its for a GBL, I feel proud enough to post it.

Dude...
I absolutely love that. Everything from the colors to the... just everything. The thick lines in the black and white (what I'm guessing are supposed to be waves) contrast so well against the softer looking purple brushed sky. The boat and logo both look great, and the sign just tops everything off. The white text really helps it stand out, but not to the point where it's distracting. I can honestly say that this thing is pretty much perfect.

The only portion that wasn't created by me was the waves. The sign was hand drawn and scanned. The ship was a regular, colored picture of the ship that was altered. Granted, I didn't take the picture, but I "did all the work".
I wish I had the patience to work with Illustrator more.

The style is awesome. I think it's extremely unique and definitely stands out from other posters. The pink at the top is really cool.
The one thing I don't particularly like is how the black text is so difficult to read. Unless you focus in on it, you don't know what it says. That kind of bothers me. The rest is very cool.

Very interesting... it is pretty good for whatever look you were going for.
