Sheets to the Astros, or gasp, ugh, gross the Red Sox.
Thats my bet, or some team on a ridicolous 15$ million 1/year deal like the Dodgers or a team that misses out on CC/Tex etc adn wants to win in 09

Anybody who signs Ben Sheets is just pissing money away. The man does not have a pitching arm anymore. He is surgery WAITING TO HAPPEN.
Since only an IDIOT would sign him....I expect Brian Cashman and the Yankees to be leading the charge for him. He can take over that permanent spot on the 60 day DL that will be left void now that Carl Pavano is gone.

Why is it such a "Bad classless act" that we booed the Rays? This isn't little league.....It's about cheering for your team and booing whoever is facing you. Were not going to say "OH GOOD TRY GUYS! WHAT A GREAT GAME! OH GEE GOLLY THAT WAS SWELL!". No, Were going to boo your team if you like it or not.
GET OVER IT.

Marlins acquired RHP Leo Nunez from the Royals in exchange for first baseman Mike Jacobs. A nice pickup for the Marlins, as Nunez is 24 years old, cheap and has posted a 3.42 ERA with a 63/25 K/BB ratio in 92 innings over the past two seasons. He'll likely slide into a setup role initially, but could be in the mix for saves at some point in 2009.
