Nice to see another diary from you, DTP. I liked the year 1999 for the WWE, one of it's better years without a doubt. Nice to be starting exactly 9 years ago from Survivor Series. Great to see Big Show as WWF Champion, hope he has a decent reign. Chyna with the Intercontinental Championship brings back memories, should be good. I know this is random, but push Gangrel and The Godfather and I'mm all good Providing you keep The Rock at the top of his game.

WRESTLE-NET: THE HOME OF WRESTLING NEWS AND ONLINE SOURCES! Wednesday 1st December 1999
- And so, we reach the final month of the 20th century. Many people in the World Wrestling Federation are confident that there will be life after December 31st 1999, despite a small group of superstars on the roster fearing about the Y2K Bug. Vince McMahon has an idea to parody this fear by having either Al Snow or Stevie Richards most likely play the role of conspiracy-suffering madman. This of course will only last four weeks, but apparently if Stevie was to be given this gimmick, he'd have something to do other than job on usual occasion. Vince is even planning on having the player of the gimmick be an emotional wreck following the century change.
- The faction of Edge and Christian & The Hardy Boyz that has been built up may result in the faction being disbanded. The creative team are convinced that Edge and Christian could be the breakout team the WWF has been needing. Odds are that Edge and Christian will finally be alone alone, in past occasions they've either been placed inside a bigger faction [the Ministry] or been assigned a manager [The Brood]. The Hardy Boyz will most likely continue to be managed by Terri though it has been decided that Terri will not be with Jeff or Matt by the time WrestleMania 2000 comes around.
- The creative team are confident about Too Cool at the moment, they are more pleased with it in comparison to the mediocre Too Much pairing earlier in the year. The two are cocky heels set to be aligned with repackaged fat/phatman, Rikishi Phatu. Phatu has been formerly known as The Sultan and Fatu from the Headshrinkers. The trio will probably end up as fully-grown faces as the fans seem to enjoy their party-animal gimmick.
- The Big Show's WWF Championship reign will not be lasting a relatively long amount of time, though it is fairly certain that it will last past Armageddon. There is currently a large roster of main event performers such as Triple H [who could bring the Attitude Era a new meaning, this time], The Rock [imagine a feud with Rock and a heel Mankind], even Chris Jericho could possibly end up as WWF Champion in the opening months of the new millenium.
- Expect Test to have his push extended for a large amount of time. The WWF are proud of his improvement and work in previous promos especially [all Test was at the beginning of 1999 was a brawler with a good look but no mic-skills], and the promos with Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon over the last few months have really led to Test improving on his skill. It is also common for him to get a push, being that Test is six-feet-six-inches, and Vince likes tall/big wrestlers. Test will probably end up as Intercontinental Champion one day.
- Kurt Angle has recently been on an undefeated streak ever since debuting back at Survivor Series 1999. Angle will probably continue this winning streak into some point in 2000. WWE Creative are very high on Angle and at his age and experience of being in the 1996 Olympic Games could lead to good publicity.
- WWF SmackDown!, the wrestling game based on the WWF for the Playstation will now be available on January 30th 2000 in the United States, it was previously mentioned as being out on December 20th but THQ have reportedly wanted more time to perfect the game.

Thursday 2nd December 1999 We review the happenings from last Monday night's edition of RAW is WAR, which was live on the USA Network. It shows us of several matches in highlights before cutting to the main attraction and angle of the show, the marriage between Andrew "Test" Martin and Stephanie McMahon that was gatecrashed by Triple H, and in addition was obliterated by video footage of Triple H marrying a drugged Stephanie at a marital drive-thru.'Everybody On The Floor' begins to play into the arena, immediately hyping up the entire show with the prescence of the opening video package. This video is very fast-paced showing extremely brief clips of WWF superstars. The video package ends with the SmackDown logo appearing before we cut to the live arena where pyrotechnics are going off on the stage in front of the unqiue OvalTron SmackDown stage. Announcers, Michael Cole and Jerry "King" Lawler run down the card for the evening."Are You Ready?" The theme for Degeneration X begins to play as the crowd immediately boo. Triple H appears alongside X-Pac, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn as they all harness one big heated reaction from the crowd. All of them but X-Pac are dressed in street gear, the group making a slow march towards the ring. They finally reach the ring and climb inside as each of the members cut a promo on their respective rivals, Billy Gunn and later, Road Dogg targeting Edge and Christian & The Hardy Boyz [that is really the only other four-man group in the WWF] speaking and bragging that the Hardys and E&C were all cocky about wanting to take their spot at the top of the WWF Tag Team Championship mountain. X-Pac takes it from there, highlighting his past relationship with Kane and his valet, Tori which will elevate to a Last Man Standing match on December 19th at Armageddon. Triple H then cuts a promo regarding the marriage to Stephanie McMahon stating that she is now a member of the Helmsley family and that she is unable to divorce out of the marriage unless HHH himself wants a divorce. As HHH begins to turn to talk about the Big Show and the WWF Championship, Test begins to make his way onto the stage to a loud reaction. Test cut a suprisingly sweet promo about what Stephanie's marriage to him meant but X-Pac cut him off, calling Test a crybaby. X-Pac challenges Test to a match to see if Test can walk the walk if he can talk the talk. Test accepts, taking the piss out of DX. [75%] Match #1: Test defeated X-Pac by disqualification following interference from Triple HThis wasn't that much of a great match in the ring, but it was above average to say the least. Both men showed some pretty good skill despite the size disadvantage, which in X-Pac's case around seventy-pounds difference in comparison to Test. X-Pac actually had quite some offense in there too. I have to say that the first time Test was getting an nudge as a mid-card performer, I wasn't too happy about it, but now I see why. He's improving, and that obviously is a good thing. Test controlled the first minute of this match but when Test tried lifting X-Pac up for the pumphandle slam, X-Pac kicked him in the head and used his preverbial 'educated feet' to tame Test. The match didn't last too long though, then again hardly anything on weekly WWF television does. Test regained offense shortly after and hit the Big Boot out of nowhere before going for the cover but Triple H ran in and jumped Test at the six minute mark. However, after the contest Kane begins to make his prescense felt on the show by making a run-in and making the save for fellow big-man, Test, taking out rival X-Pac and Triple H as we go to the commercial break. [66%] We return from the commercial break to see Kane, Test and Kane's valet, Tori in the backstage area where Kevin Kelly awkwardly confronts them, the WWF logo-marked microphone in hand. Kelly asks Kane why he assisted Test following his match with X-Pac moments ago. Kane tells him that Test doesn't deserve being shoved down or anything from those damn Degeneration X members. Kane and Test then begin to issue a challenge to any combination of Degeneration X in the main event tonight. [81%] Match #2: The Acolytes defeated Dudley Boyz after Bradshaw pinned Buh Buh Ray Dudley These two teams had fairly good chemistry due to both teams being pretty stiff performers in the ring, four big brawlers as well, in addition. The audience were into it and this match was really all about who was to advance in the contendership ranks for becoming the contenders to the WWF Tag Team Championships. The announcers put over a three-way tag team title match only just made for Armageddon in which the Acolytes could become one of those contending teams. Faarooq started things off with D-Von Dudley in which both men put on a fairly decent encounter, D-Von using some interesting moves, especially that bounce off of the ropes and the twisting back elbow. D-Von and Buh Buh began to work on the shoulder of Faarooq, trying to stop him from utilizing his signature spinebuster/dominator. Both members of the Dudleys also utilized several intriguing double-team moves before Bradshaw finally got the tag. All hell broke loose yet Bradshaw continued to clear house as D-Von got sent over the top rope by Faarooq. Bradshaw and Faarooq connected with the Double Powerbomb for the win at the seven minute mark. [69%] We see Gangrel standing in a dark, red scene as the announcers put over the upcoming WWF European Championship match as it's Gangrel challenging the British Bulldog for the title! An advert airs for WWF Armageddon, which will be held live from the sold-out National Car Rental Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Sunday 19th December 1999, only available live on pay-per-view!Match #3: British Bulldog defeated Gangrel to retain the WWF European Championship This wasn't really a good match, the crowd were only barely into it, though less than the prior two other matches, though Gangrel seemed to be on top of his game tonight. Usually Gangrel is out of stamina in a minute and sluggishly starts brawling his way through the match, but here he seemed to be all over British Bulldog rather than doing the pounding technique. Gangrel was accompanied by Luna Vachon, who was his apparent groupie. British Bulldog seemed pretty stiff out there tonight, as he played the part of the monster in a squash match, though Gangrel had some momentum and offense during this contest. The match wasn't too long, and there wasn't really a backstory to it, just rather a way to put over the prestige of the WWF European Championship. Bulldog tried going for the Running Powerslam pretty early as well, though Gangrel struggled all he could to slide out of it, succeeding. Gangrel could of had Bulldog done for in what could of been a major upset with the Impaler DDT. However, Rodney jumped on the apron as Joey Abs and Pete Gas of the Mean Street Posse climbed into the ring, the official with Rodney on the apron. Gas and Abs with a Hart Attack style move, only Abs turning the lariat part of the move into a downward spiral. Bulldog covered and it was over at the eight minute-mark. Post-match, the Mean Street Posse and Bulldog celebrated, all of them planning on continuing the assault on Gangrel but Val Venis ran in and tried to nail Bulldog with his steel-chair! [63%] We cut to the backstage area following the match where we see Val Venis restlessly rushing up and down on the spot as Kevin Kelly is on the scene, trying to catch a word with Venis. Venis is fuming about how he hasn't done anything in a while, him being one of the hottest things in the WWF in the ring and in the bedroom [still using comedy, despite being pissed], yet an old dog is still hogging the spotlight. Venis issues a challenge to Bulldog for next Monday night on RAW, whether it be a European Championship match, a non-title match, whatever. As long as he is able to show that he is better than Bulldog. We cut back to the live arena where Chris Jericho is on his way to the ring in which he gains a decent 50-50 reaction from the viewing audience in attendance. He gets some cheers, though is booed the same amount at the same time, Jericho climbs into the ring and cuts a very good promo in regards to the recent travesty that the world has gone through, whether it be the fact that their most beloved wrestler in the WWF, Chris Jericho is not going to be the Intercontinental Champion by the time the 21 century is upon us or whether the Big Show becomes the WWF Champion and hasn't appeared at tonight's show yet. I think that told us that Show isn't going to be featured. Jericho cuts a promo about Chyna and how he deserves to be the WWF Intercontinental Champion, not Chyna. Chyna then comes out from the backstage area and she walks down the ramp into the ring where she cuts a promo on Jericho, calling him a sissy for failing to beat her more than half-a-month ago at Survivor Series - in singles action. Jericho and Chyna engaged in a massive staredown that gained huge interest from the audience as Jericho told Chyna that women should stick to mud wrestling and being tossed around in the jezebel division in the WWF. Chyna gets pissed at Jericho's sexist behavior and gorilla press slams him across the ring sending Y2J to the outside in shock! [91%] Kurt Angle cuts a promo as we return to the commercial break as he makes his arrival. Angle climbs into the ring and pretty much just pisses all over the Jacksonville, Florida name. Angle talks about how he has gone undefeated since his debut on November 14th at Survivor Series. Angle talks about other undefeated streaks, moving on to talk about how he feels that he should begin to face champions now. Angle then calls out the mystery opponent/champion.Match #4: Kurt Angle defeated Gillberg in a non-title match This was definately not the high point of the night, and it really made Kurt Angle feel like a jabroni [Rock language], considering that he is scheduled to be one of the top dogs in the WWF around winter 2000. This match didn't really last long and really only served as a squash match, so it didn't have much purpose, though Gillberg's overness and sluggish ability ruined this match. It showed us how useless the WWF Light-Heavyweight Championship belt had became from its hayday back when TAKA Michinoku was the champion and had a large breed of contenders to defend it again whether it be Pantera or Mr. Aguila. Gillberg is and always will be a comedy character anyways. Angle dominated, and finished Gillberg off with the Falling Fireman's Carry Slam at the four-minute mark. [59%] As Kurt Angle celebrates, he grabs the microphone once again, telling everybody that he just showed why he is the best. Angle goes to continue bragging about his win, but the theme of the Hardy Boyz hit instead. Jeff and Matt Hardy both appeared on the rampway as they mocked Angle, telling him to get off of the stage as they had a tag team match to get ready for. Angle told them to shut up once or twice before Matt told Angle that if he wanted to defend his undefeated streak then he can show it on Monday night. The Hardys then charged down to the ring like they usually do in their entrance, immediately scaring Angle to the outside.Match #5: The Hardy Boyz defeated Too Cool by disqualification after Kurt Angle interfered It was quite predictable that Kurt Angle was going to stick around to get in a cheap shot at some point in the match, but what a match this was. These two young teams just tore up the building tonight, the crowd were hooked to this tag team action, and it's impossible to not see why. Jeff and Scotty started off and predictably had the right connection of chemistry between one another, putting on an acrobatic masterpiece right before everybody's eyes. Jeff dominated the first several minutes of the match, even hitting his swanton bomb over the top rope on both members of Too Cool as they gathered for a mid-match strategy on the outside. Jeff tagged in Matt but Scotty snook in a low-blow and tagged in Sexay. Sexay and Scotty then hit some pretty offensive double-team moves, very interesting back-and-forth action even when Too Cool were isolating Matt from getting the tag to Jeff. Matt eventually found his ground when Scotty missed a diving legdrop from the top rope and tagged in Jeff. Jeff went in there on a roll, dominating Too Cool with ease before tagging in Matt again. Hardy hit the Twist of Fate as Jeff removed his shirt and went up top for the Swanton Bomb but Kurt Angle crotched him over the top rope at the eight minute mark. Angle nailed the Falling Fireman's carry slam on Matt post-match as Too Cool randomly and awkwardly celebrated, Angle heading for the backstage area. [75%] We cut to a video package reviewing the recent goings on in the life of Al Snow as he continuously tried to become the friend of Mankind. It started back in September time, though a meeting with The Rock disheartened it. Mankind was more determined to become The Rock's friend, becoming Tag Team Champions with Mankind back in October. However, Al Snow was the one paired with Mankind back at Survivor Series when the duo failed to complete the task of becoming Tag Team Champions. Al Snow is now seeking revenge on the destroyer of Al's relationship with Mankind.Match #6: The Rock defeated Al Snow by disqualification This was actually a pretty good match and The Rock, as usual put over his opponent, Al Snow, making him look very worthy of being a credible uppercard champion. Snow had a lot of offense as this match lasted a little long, though it wasn't overlonging to the point where the fans had grown bored. A solid technical affair for the main part, which isn't what Rock's specialty is in his moveset either. Rock dominated and controlled the first few minutes just to make Snow cower off and grow Rock some momentum to kill later in the match. Snow then fought back, jumping Rock from behind. He used Head like a football, tossing it at Rock for him to catch, then spearing Rock to the canvas. Snow worked on the neck of Rock, isolating him from performing a big move such as the People's Elbow or the Rock Bottom. Snow played the heel like he has done recently in the past, finding himself repeatedly stomping on Rock numerous times during this contest. Rock eventually hit a retalliation move with the spinebuster as he got everybody's hopes up. He got Snow set up for the Rock Bottom but Snow knee'd him down below, out of referee's eye sight before getting himself disqualified by nailing Rock with Head at the eleven minute mark. Mankind then came out, not running or anything. Mankind climbed into the ring and stared at Snow, a notable upset look on the face of Mankind. Snow shook his head and swept his hair back, rolling out of the ring with Head. [72%] Following that segment, we cut to the backstage area where Vince McMahon is on his way to the ring, as well cut to the commercial break. We return to see Vince McMahon begin his travel to the ring, climbing into the ring and getting on the microphone reviewing a tragedy to a family member as well as a meant-to-be family member of his. Last Monday night was meant to be the night where Andrew "Test" Martin was to be welcomed into the McMahon family as his daughter, Stephanie McMahon was meant to become a part of his family. McMahon calls out Triple H before the theme of Degeneration X plays loudly into the arena. Triple H and X-Pac come out in ring attire ready for the main event as they climb into the ring and HHH cuts a promo about if Vince doesn't like something, then he should do something about it. Vince says he will do just that...just not tonight, rather on Monday night. Vince climbs out of the ring and sits in the announce position as Kane and Test make their entrance. [81%] Match #7: Triple H and X-Pac defeated Test and Kane A pretty solid main event tag team bout to finish off tonight's edition of SmackDown on UPN. This match was predictably filled with a lot of brawling, power punching and stiff kicks [well, Test, Kane and X-Pac do use their feet at one point]. The match was lengthy and something was always going on, it seemed as though this match was under texas tornado match rules, as the legal man system was extinct for a large part of the match. As the angle prior to this one states, Vince McMahon was in the announce booth and seemed like he'd always been in the announce position, great nostalgic feeling just him calling the match like he did. Triple H and Test fought mainly obviously due to the recent happenings to them like earlier on in the night and on RAW is WAR. Stephanie McMahon came out to the ring midway through the contest as Vince seemed shocked as even he didn't know she was here tonight. Stephanie remained neutral between the two teams, though obvious she was with Test and Kane. She got in a little chatter with Tori on the outside, and that inevitably lead to the finish of the contest as Triple H grabbed Steph by the hair. Kane meanwhile dove off of the top rope for a flying clothesline on X-Pac but missed, hurting his knee. Test gave HHH the big boot but X-Pac nailed him with the X-Factor. Triple H covered for the win at the twelve minute mark to everybody's displeasure. HHH, X-Pac and Stephanie McMahon [Steph was forced to] celebrate in the ring as we go off the air, Steph trying to get away, Vince staring down HHH from the announce table. We go off the air. [73%] Quick ResultsTest defeated X-Pac The Acolytes defeated Dudley Boyz WWF European Champion, British Bulldog defeated Gangrel Kurt Angle defeated Gillberg Hardy Boyz defeated Too Cool The Rock defeated Al Snow Triple H and X-Pac defeated Kane and Test

Right then. You have alot of talent to work with in this era hell some would say too much, lets see what you can do with it. DX Hype then then good hype for X Pac vs Test. Triple H interfering is realistic, Kane helping him... I'm unsure about Test/Kane as a team. Acoltyes over Dudleys is a good idea, I loved Bradshaw/Farooq as a team so push them as far as a tag team can be pushed... was there really any reason behing Gangrel getting a shot at the european belt? I'm pleased Bulldog won theres only so much you can do with a vampire gimmick. Chyna/Jericho feud I'm not big on... I no at that time she was facing men but still Jericho deserves to hold the intercontinental belt and have him feud a fellow male over it. Kurt Angle v Gillberg sounds... painfull to watch. GJ Angle dominated it. Any reason for Angle's attack? im unsure. atleast hardyz won though. The Rock vs Snow seems perhaps randomly put together but its good Rock won, god this show has had alot of intererferences going on... dude. Hmm interesting angle here, interesting to see were you go with Trips?Test/Vince/Steph. Trips/X-Pac beating Test/Kane is pretty realistic.

Chyna and Jericho were feuding at the time anyways, and it's one of the more over rivalries I've entered into EWR.
Rock and Snow is not randomly put together. Read the video package above it, that match REALLY did happen in real life on this very edition of SD.

So yeah, feedback for Smackdown time:
Opening promo was solid, D-Generation X was being promoted rather heavy at this time so them opening the show is expected. Nice to see Test in the picture and the X-Pac/Test match being announced. On a side note, if Triple H wins the WWF Championship or hell, if he doesn't it would be the perfect chance to get Test in the main event picture in singles or triple threat matches along with Big Show and Triple H.
Opening match was grand, nice to see interference from Kane. I can only expect him to win the Last Man Standing match at the Pay-Per-View against X-Pac. Tag team match announced for later is cool, expected Triple H/X-Pac to answer it but it might of been slightly "D-X-ish" if you had New Age Outlawz answer the challange.
APA vs The Dudley Boys had no real storyline reasoning but was still a great brawl. Nice to see APA get the win but with E&C & Hardy Boys vs New Age Outlawz going on, I can't see either team getting in to the tag team championship picture soon.
Yay for the British Bulldog, really sad to see him down in the midcard posistion, maybe you could get him back in the main event by a Royal Rumble win, hehe. The venis attack afterwards was a nice way to get Venis some attention. the promo backstage afterwards was alright as well.
The Jericho/Chyna interaction was fantastic. Some might say that Jericho shouldn't be wasting his time with Chyna but I really liked the feud when it happened so I am happy you are keeping to it. Can see Chyna loosing the Intercontinental title soon though and just disapearing, rather hard lass to book in my opinion.
Shame that the Light heavyweight title has gone down the sh**tter but I hope you hire some wcw cruiserweights and bring the division back to live. Nice win for Angle tonight though. Glad he stuck around during the next match.
Hardy Boyz vs Too Cool was a nice match, ending was great with Angle attacking Matt Hardy, might be going overboard on the interference but that might of happened alot around then, I couldn't remember. Would be awesome to see Too Cool get involved in the tag title picture.
Happy to see Al Snow getting in offense in his match aganst The Rock and that it wasn't a squash. Could see Al Snow going for the European Championship to be honest. Expected The Rock to get the win, even though it was a DQ win. Can see a Mankind vs Al Snow match coming along now.
Main event was good, think I would of prefered Test and Kane getting the win to be honest but as long as they get the PPV wins I will be happy. Vince making it noted that he will be doing something on Raw is cool, I wonder what. Somewhat odd not to see Big Show on the card, not even a promo, expecting him to be involved in Raw as well.

lol @ X-Pac calling Test a baby. I like the HHH/X-Pac/Test stuff, well done. Glad the Dudleyz lost as I have never liked them. Bulldog as Euro champ is good and I'm glad feuds are developing surrounding that title. I could see Jericho cutting a sexist promo so I like the touch of it. Angle winning was obvious, and I'm glad that he is rising up the ranks slowly. Nice to have Angle interfere right away to build up to his match against Hardy. The ending to the main event was a nice cheap way to get out of it. I like the detail when Mick came out, and Snow left. I liked the main event, and what happened after. The stuff with Steph/HHH/Test is interesting, and I hope you switch it up from what happened in real life. Keep up the good work DTP, and thanks for the reply to ECW 2007.

WRESTLE-NET: THE HOME OF WRESTLING NEWS AND ONLINE SOURCES! Friday 3rd December 1999
- Last night's edition of WWF SmackDown seemed to be pretty well received by the fans, though they were pretty criticizing of the show. It seems this specific audience are very strict about their dosage of wrestling when live shows appear in the Florida state. Nonetheless, UPN are proud of the ratings SmackDown has been getting in the Thursday primetime spot, scoring a rating of 4.6. This is an amazing 0.8 higher than last week's show. It is heavily noted that the match between The Rock and Al Snow gathered a bit of the rating, which is suprising considering it was a match between a lower mid-carder and a main eventer, the lower mid-carder actually having a large part of offense.
- The WWF have high hopes for the storyline going on between Al Snow and Mankind. Last night's edition of SmackDown showed a hint of a rivalry between both men, and it could be that Snow will be brought up the card into the upper mid-card position to finally settle the feud with Mankind either on a RAW nearer the end of the millenium or at the Royal Rumble. WWF are making note of Mankind's retirement request sent in last month, and so odds are this will end at Royal Rumble before he possibly ends up becoming the WWF Champion. He stated in his request to WWF last month that he hoped to finally finish wrestling at the end of 2000 out of respect to his kids.
- Kurt Angle and Matt Hardy's match this Monday night on RAW is WAR will most likely be a mini-feud to advance Kurt Angle. Angle has been defeating jobbers and openers worldwide on house shows, RAW, SmackDown and Sunday Night HeAT since his debut on November 14th, so a feud with an actually credible superstar would boost Angle up. WWF have huge expectations for the Hardy Boyz, but they do not want to rush them into anything, so they will remain around putting Angle over in their storyline, though WWF are in no way burying the Hardys, just a simple case of not wanting to rush them into becoming WWF Tag Team Champions again, just yet.
- The Big Show was absent from SmackDown last Thursday night just to rest off an injury suffered at the hands of Viscera last Monday night when Show teamed with Kane to face Viscera and Big Bossman. Viscera reportedly hurt Show by botching a legdrop and so Show was in a bad way going into the time of taping SmackDown. In other news regarding Show; He is scheduled to face Big Bossman at Armageddon, but WWF have lost hope overnight seemingly in Bossman. Odds are that Bossman will end up facing Show this Monday night and the 'big announcement' by Vince McMahon hyped for Monday will be a contenders match between Triple H and The Rock, the stipulation probably going to be stacked in Rock's favor. Rock vs. Show is being drawn out for Armageddon, though it seems it will be an all-face affair.
- Triple H will most likely continue his rivalry with Vince McMahon and Stephanie going into Royal Rumble. Vince is reportedly very pleased with the way the rivalry is going so far, and as a result, this feud will be a long-term arrangement. The match at Armageddon is scheduled to be probably one of the more brutal matches in Triple H's career since being pushed at least. McMahon wants Triple H to look mega-over and dominant but it is unsure whether HHH will be victorious at Armageddon. It is also questionable what the match at Royal Rumble will be. Test may be instrumental in that match.
- As reported earlier on in this issue, Big Bossman's WWF Championship match against Big Show has been pushed forward to RAW is WAR. It is a fact that Bossman will end up on the losing end, but it is still possible that Bossman will end up getting a shift as WWF Hardcore Champion, most likely entering a feud with up-and-comer, Test.
- In an update on The Undertaker, who secretly disappeared back in September time with a shoulder injury, he has received surgery on his shoulder and is expected back by February, heck he may even be back in time for the Royal Rumble. If he isn't back for the Rumble however, he will most likely be getting ready to return. The latest date he may be back by is May, but it is unlikely that Taker will sit out that long.

WRESTLE-NET: THE HOME OF WRESTLING NEWS AND ONLINE SOURCES! Saturday 4th December 1999
- Viscera wasn't featured on SmackDown predictably to avoid Big Show for injuring him on Monday. However, Show didn't appear on Tuesday night's SmackDown tapings for the 2nd of December, so he missed out. Viscera and Big Show are currently undergoing backstage tension, Viscera even telling WWF management an excuse for not showing up last Thursday. However Viscera has been ordered to show up at RAW is WAR this Monday, in which Big Show will also obviously be in attendence. There ought to be some tension going on there.
- Shawn Michaels previously spoke earlier in the year that it is a very slight chance of him returning to the active professional wrestling scene. Shawn, whose wife is currently set to give birth in January, says that it may not be in the 20th century, odds are it'll be in the later months of 2000. Michaels has also recently opened up the 'Shawn Michaels Academy' of professional wrestling in early spring, so it could be that the academy become a new training centre for WWF alongside Ohio Valley Wrestling.
- With all of the recent success in the World Wrestling Federation and popularity with the crowd, Chyna may hang onto or stick around the WWF Intercontinental Championship division going into spring of 2000. Chyna, earlier in the year spoke on how she wanted to become an active womens wrestler, and WWF have granted her this opportunity in the mid-card ranks of the WWF, though she has soared into the upper mid-card situation as well. Her intimidating look is a solid add-on to her character. Though some feel that the prescense of Miss Kitty as being Chyna's assistant/valet to the ring is dying down the character. If Chyna was to turn heel then she'd probably turn on Kitty immediately.
- In a continuation of the topic used above, Miss Kitty will most likely be turning heel in the upcoming weeks. It is unknown whether this will take place before Armageddon or after, she could possibly turn on Chyna for Chris Jericho, but we aren't too sure yet.
- Following WrestleMania 2000, it is a chance that Kane will probably be given another push. Though he's lost some of his menacing factor after teaming with X-Pac and becoming a face, it could be that Kane will become one of the main heels on the WWF roster once again, maybe aligning with Triple H.
- Gillberg is barely hanging onto his job in the WWF. It has only just been reported to Wrestle-Net's attention that on Thursday night on SmackDown, Gillberg sandbagged Kurt Angle, not selling many of Kurt's moves which Angle felt, damaged his momentum. Gillberg also stiffed Angle at one point, so chances are his job with WWF may be coming to a close awfully soon. It is unknown what will happen with the WWF Light-Heavyweight Championship if Gill is released, it may either go to a cocky undercard heel on the roster like Crash Holly [who WWF are high on at the minute] or be up for grabs in a tournament. Nothing is certain.
- The WWF Womens Championship Division were absent from view when SmackDown went to air. It is reported that Jacqueline and Tori fought in what WWF management considered 'not the WWF style'. It was reported as being a bad match so it could be either shown on tomorrow night's WWF Sunday Night HeAT or a rematch will occur on RAW is WAR.
- It is possible that WWF will soon be clearing out their rosters at the turn of the millenium. The roster is currently jam-packed with superstars they have no ideas for, we'll have more on this soon.

Sunday 5th December 1999 We review the happenings from last Monday night's edition of RAW is WAR, which was live on the USA Network. It shows us of several matches in highlights before cutting to the main attraction and angle of the show, the marriage between Andrew "Test" Martin and Stephanie McMahon that was gatecrashed by Triple H, and in addition was obliterated by video footage of Triple H marrying a drugged Stephanie at a marital drive-thru. We also take a look at the happenings on SmackDown.Sunday Night HeAT's theme song begins to play into the arena, immediately hyping up the entire show with the prescence of the HeAT logo appearing before we cut to the live arena where the unique OvalTron SmackDown stage stands. Announcers, Kevin Kelly and Michael Cole run down the card for the evening.Match #1: Kaientai defeated The Headbangers after TAKA Michinoku pinned Mosh This was a rematch from last week's edition of Sunday Night HeAT, a very good back-and-forth contest here between two talented teams. However, the downfall of this match was the fact that both teams are on the opening contest of the lowest recognised television show of the WWF week. Nontheless, this was a good short match to get the crowd hyped up for the upcoming show. Thrasher and Funaki started with Thrasher not getting a whole lot of momentum in, rather Funaki controlling him and tagging in TAKA Michinoku. Michinoku shined here, working on Thrasher's neck. Eventually, Mosh got the tag, went on a little bit of a roll before running into the Michinoku Driver for Kaientai's win at the six minute-mark. [76%] We see Val Venis in the backstage area as he reminds everybody of his rivalry with British Bulldog. Venis puts over the fact that Bulldog doesn't deserve to be the WWF European Champion and that the only reason he's in possession of that title is because he wants to feel a bigshot by winning the title below his skill-group. Venis uses some sexual innuendo like he usually does regarding how Bulldog isn't the only guy wanting it doggystyle, but every woman out there wants it that way as well. [77%] A replay of RAW is WAR's match between Test and Triple H airs, to be followed by the McMahon/Martin marriage. [91%] Match #2: Prince Albert defeated Stevie Richards This was a very short match, and the only reason for its existence was for something for Prince Albert and Stevie Richards to do. This was a complete and utter mismatch and predictably, Prince Albert picked up the win. Albert dominated Richards, working on his whole body and in-and-out of the ring. Richards eventually tried fighting back but one missed super kick and it was over with a move Albert calls the 'Baldo Bomb'. Albert didn't want the match to end yet, however and unfortunately, as he would deliver another one into the turnbuckle. Albert hit a third Baldo Bomb for the win at the five minute mark. [64%] A replay of SmackDown's main event aired, reminding us of the Triple H and X-Pac vs. Test and Kane match. After that we see in a video package the recent highlights in Big Show & Big Bossman's feud. It didn't announce that Bossman would be getting a title shot on RAW now instead. [88%] Match #3: Big Bossman defeated Godfather to retain the WWF Hardcore Championship This match was far from being a good match. It featured a complete cluster of weapons, but then again that is the style in a hardcore match like this for a title of the Hardcore belt's prestige. Bossman hardly dropped his baton either, he simply clubbed Godfather with the belt over and over and over again. The crowd weren't too into it either, and that has to be why the WWF Heavyweight Championship match between Big Bossman and Big Show is ending on RAW is WAR instead of Armageddon. Then again, that itself isn't a bad move. This storyline's been a mess, especially since Bossman is the curtain-jerking comedy-title wearing champion. Godfather had a lot of offense and the only reason he was over was due to his hos as usual. One of them [who was untitled at the time] was OVW's Synn. Synn got snapmared trying to jump on Bossman's back and Godfather missed the Ho Train, one police baton shot to the head and Bossman retained at the nine minute mark. [57%] We cut to a pre-taped session where Jim Ross was hosting a sit-down interview with Test. Test showed good emotion in this angle, putting over what has gone on in his life recently, alot during this week. Test told us of his feelings on Triple H unfairly gatecrashing what was supposed to be his greatest night of life. Test got happier however as Vince and Shane and Steph had guaranteed victory for Armageddon and that after the show, Test and Stephanie would get a real marriage on RAW. [73%] Match #4: Mark Henry, Edge and Christian defeated Rikishi Phatu and The Holly Cousins after Mark Henry pinned Crash This was a great match, very much better than the previous two contests on this edition of Sunday Night HeAT. This was a classic combination of good technical skill alongside brawling and a small hint of aerial offense. It featured actually decent wrestling from 'Sexual Chocolate' Mark Henry and Rikishi Phatu [then again, it could of just been Phatu's work considering he's one of the better talented bigmen in the WWF]. Edge and Crash Holly started off, Edge gaining immediate offense before Hardcore Holly got the tag. Holly worked on Edge's neck along with Rikishi Phatu and Crash before Christian got the eventual tag. Christian went in there and kicked ass before tagging in Mark Henry. Henry went in there and took out Rikishi as Crash stupidly tried to jump him. Henry snapmared him, a body slam and a big splash later, Phatu almost broke the count up but wasn't fast enough at the eight minute-mark. [74%] Quick Results Kaientai def. The Headbangers Prince Albert def. Stevie Richards WWF Hardcore Championship: Big Bossman def. Godfather Mark Henry, Edge and Christian def. Rikishi Phatu and the Holly Cousins

Taka getting the pin is good but I would've rather seen a Headbangers win. Albert winning is fine, and hopefully he gets at least a mediocore push. If Bossman was going to get a title shot, I don't think he should have been in anything other than the main event. I like the idea of multi-man matches main eventing Heat. Glad that the team with E & C got the win. Interesting to have Henry pin Phatu since they're both huge. Decent Heat, not too much to comment on until Raw is up, but I'll certainly be leaving a reply on that.

Mr. Charisma,
I was simply following the format of HeAT and WWF when I placed Big Bossman in the mid-card spot on HeAT. That match happened on that position of the card in real life, this very episode. Bossman/Show were both feuding at this point as well, though it was merely a mid-card feud. I have better plans for Show as WWF Champion.

I figure you have better plans, I was just surprised to see the "#1 contender" on Heat.
