Obo versus Autopsy CJR
In one of the more exciting opening matches of house shows in recent memory, the debuting Autopsy CJR tried to take out the reigning WFWF Ham Shank champion Obo. CJR hit a lot of his key moves early, including a devastating inverted brainbuster and a springboard corkscrew moonsault. The finish came when Autopsy, going for his cross legged brainbuster, was reversed when Obo was able to wiggle his way out. Obo backs up far and comes running in, nailing a Yakuza kick on Autopsy. The devastating kick is enough to put CJR away for a 3 count.
Reverend Shadow versus Thunder
A lot of underhanded tactics from both men spoil what could have been a great technical battle. Shadow goes for a very early Bible Thump, but it is reversed by Thunder with a kick to the kidney area. Thunder gets a complete control over the match from this point, nailing several of his key moves. The finish comes when Thunder accidentally knocks down the referee and Shadow uses the advantage to wallop Thunder with his bible for an easy pin
Justin Tyme versus Yukio Blaze
The match starts off slowly with Tyme working the legs of Yukio. This shows to be a good strategy, because when Yukio goes for kicks, his legs give out on him and he crumbles to the mat. Tyme goes for an STF on Yukio, but Yukio escapes the hold with a rope break. The finish to this match comes when Yukio, going for a Shining Wizard, misses the head of Justin Tyme and lands flat on his face. Tyme comes in with an ankle lock on the already banged up legs for an easy submission victory.
Post match, as Yukio is recovering from his submission loss, CBT comes running into the ring with a lead pipe in his hand. Yukio just barely gets back to his feet when CBT comes in, wailing Yukio right in the back of the knee with the pipe.
CBT: Stupid Yukio, you think I don't know better, you stupid bitch? Trying to send a message to Tha CBT? You think talking **** in the locker room, won't lead to being confronted in the ring? I just don't get it. A year or so ago, you were being put through plate-glass windows, being smacked with Singapore canes, and being bashed through tables by me. But I hear this talk of Yukio wants me in the ring. Yukio says he can beat me. "Yukio has never faced CBT 1 on 1." So now he's picking up my 2 year old scraps, with the idea being he's at my level? Well fine, for one day I will lower myself down to your level, I will bring my C game. Bring your 1st Aid Kit. This may not make sense, so let me clarify. Next week, Your my bitch, Blaze
(end show)
Post show ranting: Miguel Sanchez, you JUST returned from a lengthy absence/suspension for no showing, and your first match back, you no showed. Your opponent, Kurt Burton, also did not roleplay, but he PMed ahead of time, telling me he would no be roleplaying because of time issues. You did nothing of the sort. I’ve spoken to Kyzer, and if you no show Superbrawl, you will be fired and not allowed to come back.
CBT wrote his own promo, and also judged my match
