An opening shot and a quick pan over the crowd welcomes us to this week’s WFWF Live Event.
Opening Match
One on One
KD versus Centanni
Both men are looking to prove themselves in this match, because this is both men’s first appearances in WFWF. From the opening lock up, KD gets an advantage, taking Centanni over with a hip toss. Centanni gets up and is rather frustrated at being taken over so easily. KD grabs Centanni by the head and delivers a SICK head butt that echoes through the arena. KD rocks a bit but Centanni immediately goes down.
KD grabs Centanni by the head and pulls him back to his feet. Whip into the far ropes by KD and as Centanni comes back, KD hits a nice dropkick to a round of applause from the crowd. KD pulls Centanni up by his head and lifts him up, nailing a vicious powerbomb. KD holds onto the legs and quickly locks on his King of Kings submission hold, and Centanni quickly taps out.
One on One match
Devin Star versus Johnny Gordo
Opening tie up into a headlock from Star. Star with a standing switch into an arm bar. Gordo whips Star out of the arm bar and into the ropes. Star comes running back in and he leap frogs right over Johnny Gordo and continues into the far ropes. Gordo turns around as Star comes back. Gordo ducks down for a back body drop attempt but Devin Star scouts it, nailing Johnny Gordo with a DDT.
Star pulls Gordo up slightly and locks on an abdominal stretch. Gordo screams as Star stretches his waist. Star releases one arm from the stretch, keeping it locked on with his other arm and his leg. Star lifts one hand and brings it down hard onto the stretched mid-section and stomach of Gordo. 1.…2.….3.….4.…5! On the fifth chop, Devin Star lets Gordo up.
Gordo stumbles to the center of the ring and Devin comes from behind. Devin with a tap on the shoulder and Gordo turns around, walking right into Devin Star’s Black Star Stinger! Devin with a cover and that’s it for a count of three!
One on One match
The High Horror versus The Curse Eagle
High Horror tries to get a start from the opening bell, going for a quick clothesline, but Eagle ducks. Eagle with a go behind waist lock into a releasing German suplex stuns Horror. Eagle with a smirk on his face as Horror gets back to his feet. Horror goes for a second clothesline and Eagle repeats the process.
High Horror is down and The Curse Eagle goes for a standing senton, but High Horror moves out of the way. Horror with an arm bar, but it’s not enough to keep Eagle down, because he quickly works his way to his feet and runs right up the turnbuckles, throwing Horror with a flipping judo throw. Eagle waits until Horror gets to his knees and comes running in, going for a shining wizard, but Horror ducks. Horror quickly locks on an ankle lock, but Eagle gets to the ropes. Horror gets up and starts to complain to the referee for a slow count and this leads to his downfall, because The Curse Eagle comes from behind with a roll up for a count of three.
One on One match
Reckless versus Baelin of Cyrodill
Reckless with a quick lock up. Baelin starts to overpower Reckless, but Reckless quickly comes back, working Baelin back. Baelin gets out of the lock up with a jab to the eyes. Baelin comes in to follow up, but Reckless nails him right in the stomach with a spinning roundhouse kick. Reckless in with a sunset flip into a victory roll, but it’s only enough for a count of two.
Both men up. Baelin comes running in and Reckless takes him down with an armbar. Reckless with a quick switch into a triangle choke and Baelin taps out. Reckless up to his feet and kind of shocked at his win. He celebrates all the way to the back.
Main Event
One on One match
CJR versus Pohatu
Lock up center ring. Pohatu with a whip into the far ropes. CJR comes in with a crucifix attempt. CJR takes Pohatu all the way over, but Pohatu rolls through it. Pohatu into the ropes and he comes back, kicking CJR right in the face with a dropkick!! CJR’s head snaps back violently as Pohatu gets to his feet.
Pohatu with an elbow drop attempt but CJR rolls out of the way. CJR with an elbow drop attempt of his own but Pohatu manages to get out of the way and to his feet. Pohatu with a standing senton attempt but misses CJR. CJR comes in with a corkscrew moonsault, but he misses Pohatu. Both men are back to their feet for a stand off.
CJR with a high roundhouse attempt but Pohatu ducks it easily and pulls CJR right into a pump handle slam. Pohatu with a pin attempt but it’s only enough for a count of two. Pohatu up and he grabs CJR by the waist. CJR nails an elbow but Pohatu holds on. Pohatu takes the rear waist lock right into his Blue Thunder Storm!! Pohatu with a cover and that’s enough for three!
