Each Man's Tragedy, Is a Woman's Triumph.
“I don't know if I continue, even today, always liking myself. But what I learned to do many years ago was to forgive myself. It is very important for every human being to forgive herself or himself because if you live, you will make mistakes- it is inevitable. But once you do and you see the mistake, then you forgive yourself and say, 'well, if I'd known better I'd have done better,' that's all. So you say to people who you think you may have injured, 'I'm sorry,' and then you say to yourself, 'I'm sorry.' If we all hold on to the mistake, we can't see our own glory in the mirror because we have the mistake between our faces and the mirror; we can't see what we're capable of being. You can ask forgiveness of others, but in the end the real forgiveness is in one's own self. I think that young men and women are so caught by the way they see themselves. Now mind you. When a larger society sees them as unattractive, as threats, as too black or too white or too poor or too fat or too thin or too sexual or too asexual, that's rough. But you can overcome that. The real difficulty is to overcome how you think about yourself. If we don't have that we never grow, we never learn, and sure as hell we should never teach.”- Maya Angelou
Thursday morning couldn't come soon enough. This plane trip alone does nothing but raise the initial anxiety I have going into WFWF's Pre-show, Violent Uprising.
When you have a career in professional wrestling, you have countless matches, but only one debut. Sure there's various opportunities, where once becomes once in a lifetime..
Debuting a new move, a new career choice, but I've envisioned my WFWF debut countless nights.
Playing that moment in my head, only to stop and rewind it. In hope's to deliver the best performance I'm capable of.
I am but a woman, but I am a strong one at that. Never one to argue about whether my opponent was a woman or a man.
It's just life, you can't be the favorite. You can do everything in your soul, to show you deserve what your getting, and that you appreciate the support. But it goes unseen.
I've encountered guys who I treated like brothers, that turned there back on me, because I got the better of them. But they don't know what this about.
WFWF is not my life, just the next chapter in it. Wrestling is what I live and breathe, and I guess for that I am thankful.
In the land of the rising sun, the talk is of the much anticipated WFWF show, at the Tokyo Dome, in Tokyo, Japan.
Crimson Existence, the 1st WFWF PPV under the Higher Authority banner. The hype for this show is amazing, but no more then the card itself.
The talent that is booked on the card, can not be easily matched.
But the PPV is just the crème de' le' crème, and like all good things, it doesn't begin there. See, a pre-show is planned for tonight, Violent Uprising, and centered around what is a gauntlet match featuring four of the WFWF's newest addition, and a new face to add, that being Mia Porter.
Very little is known about this spicy number, but it seems as if she's already acquired some heat backstage. As WFWF's own, Jesse Owens seeks some comments from her backstage, she respectfully complied.
Hello WFWF, this is Jesse Owens, and I bring to you a WFWF.com exclusive. As I was preparing for Crimson Existence, backstage. I came across this new face, Who goes by the name, Mia Porter. Mia, how are you?
I'm doing just fine.
I wanna be left alone. Its not you, it's me. I'm the one thats has to make a impression. I don't get paid to stick a mic in people's mouth, atleast not anymore..
So Mia, let me ask you, are you at all nervous about your debut tonight, infront of these raucous Japanese fans, that will soon pack the Tokyo Dome?
I'm a professional, I love what I do. If it wasn't for that nervous factor, I'd wouldn't be at my best
Good, good. Because tonight is no easy challenge, as you're set to compete in a gauntlet match. Before I ask you to address your opponents, any chance you can enlighten us on your friendship with WFWF Owner, Tha CBT? And perhaps tell us what number your drew in the Gauntlet match?
Not this shit again. Why does my image attract negativity? I may look like eye candy, but I never signed a contract to be somebody's trophy wife. Some guy's walking, breathing, blow-up doll. CBT trained me, and thats about as far as are relationship goes. But how do I explain that to this schmuck?
I have no idea how the gauntlet is gonna go.
But what about my question?
What question?
About your relationship with CBT?
He trained me to wrestle. That is what you are here to question me about? Isn't that the reason I'm booked and the overall concept of Crimson Existence?
Fair enough. So there is no truth to CBT signing you, for more then what you possess in the ring. Then why would he book a woman in a gauntlet match?
Ok that's all I can hear from some scrotum less, pocket nerd. He has no idea what a woman of my magnitude could do to him, and that's a hell of a lot more then then a slap or a kick to the...
As Jesse just stands dumbfounded, waiting for a answer. A visibly pissed Mia Porter, looks to have had enough of his male bravado, and turns away.. only to turn back around with a swift kick to the gonads
That was a good attempt junior, but why don't you stop seeking advice, from your sexually challenged brother. He obviously has fed you some bad advise about the equality between men and women. I mean, its so obvious, I could have hurt you. But instead sized you up, and went for the smallest target. This is now the Mia Porter portion of this interview.
Jesse Owens crawls away, clinching whats left of his manhood with him
So tonight I face four other men, in a gauntlet match. Now unless I'm mistaken, the object of a gauntlet match, is to go through everyone of your opponents. Well lets take a moment to examine my opposition, shall we?
Mia grabs a crumbled up piece of paper out of her back pocket. She uncrumbles it, and straightens it out. It appears to be a advertisement for Violent Uprising. She then proceeds with her finger, going over the paper, until she reaches her match
So, the first guy I gotta worry about is Bryan Stingberg. The Fighting Irishman.. or is it the Hollywood A-Lister?...
This guy can't even give the fan's a reason, to love or hate him. His gimmick changes every day
I'm not even sure if this guy can wrestle. He sure can't be taken seriously, maybe its the Irish in him. Drinking can cause you to hallucinate, atleast that's what I've heard and seen first-hand. But in the case of Bryan Stinberg, I guess he's in the same boat as I am. About to make his WFWF debut. I wonder how the A-Kisser would feel, if he was to tap out to "CBT's Bitch"?
next person! please, be a bigger threat to me...
Devin Star. Well damn, if that isn't the man to beat in this! With accolades like losing to Christian Shields twice in one match. Isn't the caliber of talent in this similar to a frosted flakes commercial? ok, Trix are for kids. In all seriousness, this guy sucks.
Uh, yeah.. I'm pretty sure, unless I show some tits, people are gonna get bored with this, in a hurry. But there is a point to this, so whose next I wonder. No better way to find out then to look
So, two other-wise complete wastes of time. Its not me being unfair in judging them, its just.. they haven't really done anything more then me. But, wait, there's hope. Danny Vice. He's my meal ticket to being booked on the main show, next month. With his connections to Skyler Striker, beating him would catapult my career. I mean, look what happened when Skyler Striker beat that trick, Ice Queen.
Sure he couldn't even beat her cleanly, but that's the difference between the boys and the girls. One species is gifted with brains, and one with brawns, I'll let Danny Vice know which he has, after I've pinned him
Oh finally, there is a god. He's straight edge, and built like a scare crow, but he's the chosen one. Atleast the only one chosen for this shit, that actually looks like he deserves to win this
Alright, I've been pretty unfair to the WFWF Owners, Higher Authority is giving me a shot. They believe in me, and know that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but talent is in the ring. I honestly couldn't be any sweeter with my presentation. I honestly do feel, even with no on the job experience, I'm more deserving to be here. But there is a man I do look forward to facing. I actually do hold out hope that he and I do lock up tonight. That man is Shawn Williams.
See, Shawn impressed me, in his match against Obo. While I thought he had no chance in hell of winning he impressed me. But impressing Mia Porter does only one of two things. Make me wanna fuck you or hurt you badly.
And the fact of the matter is, I'm to good for your ass. So for your sake I hope, you don't make it to facing me.
Mia Porter walks off, as the camera changes focus. Scanning over to just a few feet away, a semi-conscious Jesse Owens, in full fetal position. with that last image, the scene fades out
OOC: My 1st official RP, I used a few different aspects I've seen in RPs, with my own ideas.
Pink= thought
Red= Jesse Owens
Blue= Me
I'm not really sure how I did, but I did enjoy it, and hope the guys don't take offense to anything said. I've been following WFWF on and off, more so since the 1st FDS, as CBT has shown me RPs from various RPers.
hope this was a good read. good luck bryan stinberg, danny vice, devin star, and shawn williams
