Post Crimson Existence Vignette #1: From Failure Comes Wisdom
The scene opens with a single dark room and nothing can be seen but pure darkness. Suddenly there is a sound of something or someone in the room moving followed by the sound of a scratching noise like that of a match against a match box. Next we see a tiny glimmer of light from what appears to be a single match lit in the darkness and beside it, the shadow of a mans face which also appears to be covered by a cloak of some sort. The figure in the darkness leans over and places the small lit match against a larger object that is later revealed as a single candle sitting on a table nearby. The candle does not give off much more light than the match and after lighting the candle, the figure slowly sits back in what appears to be a chair. Still, even with the small amount of light in the darkness, the candle is so small that only a tiny outline of the man sitting nearby can be seen.
The man then sits in the darkness patiently as the candle burns as he says in a methodical and raspy tone of voice, “In life, failure is not an option, but sometimes, we must deal with what life brings us and move on.”
Again, the light on the candle shimmers as the man breaths in the still of the room. Just then, the scene fades back to a small video of a match that consisted of KD and his lost to Kari before the PPV. Just as sudden as it appeared, the video then disappears as it burns away back to the scene with the single lit candle and the man sitting nearby.
“No one knows the future and though the future is uncertain, we must all at some point in our life make choices, good or bad”
The scene then fades into another video package of KD when he was in the BQWA in a fierce match against Josh Dean, then on to his multiple negative run-ins with management, and finally to his departure from a company himself, Josh Dean and a host of others help build to what it is today and a standard of prominence that once was. We then follow into an image of KD walking out of the company for possibly the last time and then being hired by the WFWF a short time after. That image too burns back into the scene of darkness where this man and a single lit candle has now burned a 4th the way down.
“In life, there will always be failures and if not failures disappointments and if not disappointments, again, choices that might not be those we would normally make considering the consequences of those choices and the circumstances surrounding having to make those choices.”
The candle continues to burn and the man sits there patiently again as a moment passes by and there is complete silence. The man then stands to his feet and a bit more out of the range of light from the tiny candle. He then takes hold of the candle and tosses it into the abyss of darkness and suddenly, it hits something and the entire room around him lights up in flames. Standing in the center of the room, with nothing more than a full body cloak and a head piece covering his head, the man just stands there, slowly turning in circles with his hands slightly out to his side as if he was feeling the heat all about him on a cold winter day.
The man then begins to speak yet again, still with the same ire tone of voice as he says, “Change can be a good thing, but change uncontrolled can turn into a very bad thing.”
The man then stops turning and looks into the flames all around him with his back to the camera, “WFWF, my change has come, my time has come and soon, the WFWF shall feel my wrath, feel my failures and know my newness…”
The man then begins to walk into the distance. He walks straight for the fire and then disappears as he walks through the flames that were burning behind him.
Suddenly, as the scene slowly fades to black, it finally goes completely dark yet again as we see these words written in fresh dripping blood come up on the screen…

I will change my character rep and info this weekend to reflect the changes you read here for my new direction. A hint of that change is my new sig and yeah Anakin Skywalker (pre-Darth Vader) is my new rep.
