Great reviews again. Love the depth of your reviews as well as the pictures. RA36 is tempting me to spend money lol. Glad to see you finally got Big Show. Thanks.

Great reviews man, i loved your input on the CSTT9 set. Also your Ric Flair fix-up is very cool, the last pic where he's bashing HBK in the head with the HOF plaque is genius! Rated R NinJa

Great reviews. Thanks. I know what you mean about sending Jakks a message, but it would be impossible for me to pass up this set of 3 of the best tag teams ever. Luckily, I was able to fix up the RnR hair and Davey Boy's hair as well.
Honestly, I think were going to be seeing more of this level of screw up with Jakks over the next year. They're going to be cranking out product and cutting corners worse than ever to milk the license before they lose it. When Toybiz lost the Marvel license, they cranked out a ton of figures. Most of it was highly awaited stuff that fans were excited about, but the quality control was a mess: mixed up parts, sloppy paint, loose joints. People bought the figures anyway because they were characters they wanted. I think a similar thing will happen with Jakks. I mean, beyond the hair problems, my CSTT figs had some sloppy paint issues, too. I'm going to have to touch up one of the flags on the Bulldogs, for example. Sucks, but a boycott at this point would only matter if you think you're wasting money on the figures.

Very nice. The reason Dynamite has black pads is because most of the time his pads were black knee pads. But you are right all ofthe CSTT9 have major flaws.
Bulldogs - This is my favorite of the 3 and my most disappointed as well. There were some major flaws... 1. Davey Boy's hair (They should have held off on this set until CSTT10 when they had the OK/approval for the new head) 2. Lack of socks (to me the sock stripe are a must) 3. lack of detail to the boots. (CS20 Dynamite's were much better with the painted toes and tongue) 4. Dynamite's arms - He looks like he's a d@mn gorilla. I hate when they give guys the larger (longer) RA arms with the smaller/shorter RA lower legs (tongued boots/short kickers) They should have given him the shorter CW RA arms so they'd be in scale with the rest of his body.
R&R - 1. mixed up heads (That is unacceptable As there are too many people who should have caught this before it ever got to the packaging stage) 2. Not a major flaw but the vests should have at least been white
Koloffs - 1. Nikita looks confused and not angry 2. boots- they didn't wear laced boots! 3. Scale (which could have been correct if Nikita had the tall kickers and Ivan the short kickers)
Sorry about my rant (Of course with all the flaws I still bought them.)
You are right the Tommy Gunn head looks great for Sam Houston, but the torso is all wrong for him. I know you knew that already, but I'd have given him the CW torso.

The flair looks cool but theres something off about the arms. Good in depth coverage of the crappiness of CSTT, its a disaster. Show is nice though thaks for the tat pics.

Great reviews as always. We're totally on the same page with CSTT9 as are most people it seems. Everything PJ listed are minor adjustments that would've added very little production cost, if any, and made this the best CSTT set since CSTT1. Even if they hadn't waited for the new Davey Boy scan there's no reason they couldn't have made a new hairpiece for the back of his head, I could've overlooked all the other flaws with the Bulldogs set if that had been done at least. It's very sad to see what has happenned to CS since the moment Jakks lost the license, it's a bit like watching a loved one with a terminal illness, all we can do is sit by and watch helplessly as the greatest figure line ever shrivels and dies in front of us. I can't believe Jakks have no pride at all in CS, the huge budget cuts are understandable for a greedy company that's in fear of losing it's main income but it's not hard to get the basic figures right even if they lack all the extras we are used to. I think I would find it easier to choose the right parts than find wrong ones to use. When something like CSTT9 happens we have to realise that Jakks literally cannot even be bothered to think about CS anymore. Jeremy's site went down within minutes of the CSTT9 pics being first posted and I'm very worried about what is left to come from the CS line.

I wanna do the same with Flair. but $30 for a scan is to much, unless I sell the body like your doing.

In your slightly less recent reviews, I can't help but wonder why you didn't dispute the 3-pack Greg Valentine's hairstyle mould, since it was a major downside of that figure.
Valentine had a quiff in Rhythm & Blues, but Jakks just repainted the regular CS10 hair mould.

Hey Nap, that was I who made the post about the other toy company taking responsibility for their mistakes. It was Mezco with their Hellboy line, they promised to send a corrected Wink head to anyone who bought the Wink figure. The issue was that the final design that made the actual movie did not match the figure.
I agree if you are on the fence with these figures don't buy them. Especially since there is at least a chance that they will be released in a corrected version before the end of 2010. That's straight from the Jakks rep at RSF. I did buy it, because I did not want to take the chance of not having one of the biggest teams of their era in my collection. Little paint here, little paint there, all better. I agree there is no way it should have happened like this, but it did. So I allowed the almighty JP to rob me yet again.
