I hate the fact that they use Red and Blue Ropes for PPVs. I know it looked nice with the Blue theme going on last night, but seriously, it makes such a difference with the Black Ropes.
I was watching The Rock V Booker T from Summerslam 2001 earlier for some reason, and just realised how much more Pay Per View'ish the whole thing felt.
Just a little rant, but still, they need to use go back to old ways on this one.

They don't need to, you just want them to. But black ropes do give it a better feel so I hope they do that.

There needs to be more of a distinction between shows. Raw/Smackdown/ECW have the same stage...and PPVS have the same ropes as their TV shows.
I loved the old ECW side entrance, Smackdown should go back to the Oval Tron, and Raw should stay the same. PPVs should have black ropes.

I was thinking that a few months ago.
Sometimes it's like WWE doesn't care to do the little things because, what does it matter anymore?
They used all blue ropes for some PPV, I forget which, but it felt like a SD PPV all night.
All black or all white, even if the ropes were all the same color as the PPV's main logo color.
There needs to be more of a unique feel to every show, I agree.

I liked the black ropes for PPV's as well, but it did looke to me as if the blue ropes were darker than usual.

Well they could do Red, White, and Blue ones. Got your Red ones for Raw. White for ECW(yes I know the ECW ropes are actually silver), and Blue for Smackdown.

I would say depend on the colour of PPV and theme, really, such as WrestleMania 24 have orange ropes because of stage, poster and theme etc.

i was just gonna make a post about this....but then i thought ppl would be like who cares blah blah.....but wwe has become so lazy ...i mean they put no effort into making their stages, and they cant add small details like ropes to make it more of a ppv feel but thats why i dont watch wwe as much anymore....tna is the new wwe!

they should use the 3 different colours of ropes that they use for the TV shows
Red
Silver
Blue
