I don't get the hype for WM 17 at all. It was no better than the average Raw in that era.
For me, nothing will ever top WM 6 or 8.

if they have guys like Khali, Henry and Kozlov in the under card then it will not be better than WM 17. You have to understand, the whole card has to be great top to bottom.

cena/batista jeff hardy/edge austin/orton michaels/taker jericho w/stephanie v. triple h w/shane *Money in the Bank V* (some form of ****ty divas match) *ECW Title Match* *Team NFL v Team WWE* (for some reason i think would be great and it can give guys like Show, kane, JBL etc.. a spot on the main card.) That card would be awesome. Ive completely given up on Austin vs. Cena now that Cena is champ.

It will probably be one of the best recently, but I still don't see Hardy vs. Edge. That just doesn't seem up to WM standards. Sure the fans want it, but it won't be uniform with other main events. Edge has only main evented 1 WM and Hardy hasn't main evented any. It's just unlikely. I love Cena vs. Batista, that is going to rule.

I have my doubts. Cena/Batista alone will kill the entire thing for me.

Firstly, I believe Wrestlemania will be anywhere from 4.5 hours to 5 hours long, similar to Wrestlemania 20.
Secondly, since Wrestlemania 25 is in Texas, I believe Austin will be inducted into the Hall of Fame and have one more match at Wrestlemania.
Here is the card:
12) SCSA Retirement Match Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Randy Orton
Segment: Hall of Fame Inductee’s are presented to the live crowd, then Austin comes out for his match.
11) WHC Title Batista vs John Cena(c) Note: Batista wins the elimination chamber at No Way Out for number one contender spot at Wrestlemania.
10) Divas Playboy Lumberjack Match - Womens Championship Beth Phoenix(c ) w/Santino Marella vs Kelly Kelly Note: Whatever diva decides to pose for Playboy this year (perhaps Kelly Kelly) around Wrestlemania will be in the match against a heel diva (perhaps Beth Phoenix). With the rest of the divas as the lumberjacks.
9) WWE Championship Jeff Hardy (Royal Rumble Winner) vs Edge(c)
8) Piper’s Pit w/ A Special Guest (Ric Flair) Note: The special guest could be anyone. Santino Marella, Vince McMahon or someone from Wrestlemania’s past, Mr. T, or any hall of famer.
7) Battle of Texas - Mr. Wrestlemania vs The Streak HBK vs the Undertaker
6) RAW vs SD – 3 on 2 Handicap Match Cody Rhodes, Manu, Ted Dibase vs Carlito, Primo Note: Or if possible: Big Show vs Hulk Hogan, instead of the latter
5) Street Fight HHH w/Shane McMahon vs JBL w/Stephanie McMahon
4) Umaga vs Finlay
3) Rey Mysterio vs Chris Jericho
2) Money in the Bank Ladder Match Shelton Benjamin vs John Morrison vs MVP vs the Brian Kendrick vs CM Punk vs Kane vs Kofi Kingston vs Evan Bourne
1) ECW Title Matt Hardy(c) vs Gregory Helms
For any one not mentioned like Khali, Kozlov, Mark Henry etc, all of those guys will be in the pre-Wrestlemania battle royal, non-televised just for the DVD.
Since it is the 25 anniversary of Wrestlemania, I do believe that WWE will go out of their way to put on a good entertaining show.
Your thoughts and Predictions ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

i've always agreed that 17 was great...but not the best. it was almost overkill, too booked.

17 hands down if you polled it, the numbers wouldn't even be close so it's fact not an optinon due to the overwhelming numbers. Although 3 and 19 are solid 2 and 3 for me
