Who do you think will be the major "shelf-warmers" in this set?
I think it will be McMahon for sure and maybe Austin.
Classic Superstars #22 (TBD) Stone Cold Steve Austin Smoking Skull Title Belt Leather Vest (2) Vince McMahon Wrestling Attire (2) Bob Holly Classic Attire (1.5) Matt Hardy Debut Attire (2) Chainsaw Charlie Terry Funk (1) Earthquake w/ blue Attire (1.5) Andy Kaufman (1) EDDIE GUERRERO - LJN STYLE CHASER (1)

I don't think Austin will warm shelves. There aren't that many RA wrestling attire Austins out there.
I think the shelfwarmers will be:
McMahon Kaufman Chainsaw Charlie/Funk

With the exception of Austin who most kids/younger collectors will buy I think all of them will be as it's a very weak lineup.

In my area almost the whole CS series usually end up being shelfwarmers.

In my area almost the whole CS series usually end up being shelfwarmers. I tend to agree with you on this one. usually one or two figures out of a given set are "hard" to find at first, but after the 2nd or 3rd shipments arrives it's not that difficult to find who you are looking for and there are plenty of left-over CS figures on the shelves.

I agree as well. CS can be hard to come by online, but in stores I haven't had much difficulty finding them.

The only reason I say Austin is we just got one in CS18 and it is pretty much a re-release. Yes, but alot of people didn't find the CS18 or aren't willing to spend the $20 (? I think it was $20) for the Shopzone figure...So I think he's popular enough that people will want him. (Same with the Hardy) As for the rest of the wave - Vince McMahon Wrestling Attire (His CS16 still sits on the pegs here and now he's a 2 per figure ) Bob Holly Classic Attire ( I'll be buying it, but I don't know how many others will) Matt Hardy Debut Attire (I'll be passing on him as I was never a HB fan, but I'm sure the younger fans will buy it) Chainsaw Charlie Terry Funk - I personally think it was a poor gimmick and I think it's a weak figure. Earthquake w/ blue Attire - I originally wanted it, but other than the attire it's not really different than the CS6 soI can pass. And I think alot of others will pass as well. Andy Kaufman - I think the figure is a pure waste...especially will the CSTT warming the pegs already. I'll get it for the robe for my Orndorff, but really why buy this figure for $12 when there's tons of the CSTT8 set at TRU for $14? At least you are getting the King for $2 more. LJN EDDIE GUERRERO - It's a crappy LJN and I can find pretty much all the LJN's release between the area TRUs/Targets/WM's/KB.

Come to think of it, I can't wait for this crappy set to get out of the way so we can get into the awesomeness that is CS23. There is not one figure in CS 22 that I am excited about.
Austin-have one like it McMahon-have one like it Kaufman-have one like it Chainsaw Charlie-have a few Terry Funks, not much different LJN -don't collect, think they are a waste of a CS spot Eathquake -like the blue but have one like it Matt Hardy - have one like it but DA Bob Holly-its a nice figure but I was never a fan of the gimmick
Blech...

I see Earthquake, Holly, and Kaufman doing best.
McMahon will be the biggest shelfwarmer, followed by Matt Hardy.

McMahon, Kaufman, Holly, and Guerrero will likely be the biggest shelfwarmers in my area.
Earthquake and Funk might be hard to find for a while, but the only really hot seller I can see from series 22 is Matt Hardy, simply based on his current popularity.
