Hardcore X Roleplay: The plot thickens
I stand outside there, outside the tall apartment building. It's dark, early in the night. It's quiet, nobody around, strange considering the time. It may be night, but it's still early, and there are usually people out at this time of the night. That's the first sign that this was not my best decision, but hey, I never was one of those people who sit at home, I like to take risks.
I made the call to Roxy the morning after I met her in the bar, I need to know what she knows about the church fire. Maybe she does not know anything about what really happened, but I can not take that kind of risk. I walk up to the door, press the button, and she buzzes me up. Game time. I head up the stairs to her door, no idea what I am going to say, never was the greatest at planning ahead. She opens the door before I get there, and I head straight in. The flat is cold, very cold, either she does not like the heat, or these flat's are really poor value for money. The flat is not exactly the most homely place in the world, does not look like she has been here long, everything looks pretty rushed, as if it was put together quickly, and that nobody has bothered making an effort to improve it. There is very little noise, which is strange considering the amount of flats, you can usually hear the sounds from the surrounding flats, things are not looking good.
"So, you decided to take me up on my offer" Roxy says to me, snapping me out of my thoughts, and back into the realm of the living.
"It's simple, I want to know what you know about the church fire" I answer her, getting right down to the point, no time for patience, it's not in my nature anyway.
"Now why would I know anything about the fire, I thought that was what we are going to talk about" she answers, anger in her voice. She was not expecting me to call her out like this, I caught her off guard, and that is just what I was going for.
"We both know that it is not just luck that you decided to see me in that bar, now what do you want?" I ask her, my tone becoming more agressive, I dont have time for games with somebody like her.
"Fine" she answers, "I know that it was you who started the fire, and the only reason that I aksed you here was to ask you for help"
"Help with what?" I ask, now I am getting curious.
"I know that you were a member of that satanist group, The Disciples I want your help with getting rid of them, for good" she answers.
"Why?" I ask. She has me hooked, she knows about the Disciples, about the fire, but whay does she care?
"That's none of your business" she answers. Wrong thing to say, she just lost my attention.
"Fine" I say, and turn away from her, heading for the door. As I open the door I hear the words that I expected she would say.
"Wait, fine, i'll tell you, but you may want to sit down..."
