Just out of curiosity, I was wondering when people started watching WWE/wrestling and why.
I remember watching wrestling before i was really old enough to comprehend anything..
Then when I was 7 years old, in February of 1997, I remember seeing my first match.. It was Owen Hart vs. Flash Funk on Shotgun Saturday Night. I've been hooked ever since.

The best times - the attitude era. I have watched every single RAW from 1998-2005 not missing an episode.
Stopped watching for the years 2006 and 2007.
Have seen all of this years RAWs since watching wwe again.
1999 was the best year IMO with 1998 closely behind and the best year under the wwe name by far was 2003.
I didn't enjoy 2005.
2004 was average
2002 was slightly better than 2004. Not a bad year.
2001 was quite good for part of the year
2000 was quite solid.
I only watched a handful of smackdowns from these years, except i saw most of the smackdowns in 99 and 2000, so i'm basing my opinion mainly on RAW and PPV's from the years.

Sky was airing repeats of Wrestlemania V and that was the first WWF programming I ever witnessed.I was 9
I stayed hooked until early 2003.since then its just been on and off.big matches WM etc.

Sky was around in '89?!? Wow. Lol. I was just born I started 97/98. yup sure was.it had JUST came to Ireland at the time.it was one of the firstn things I seen on TV after my Da got rid of the aerial in favor of cable TV |

2004.
I started in January at the first or second RAW I think. I remember the main event was Orton vs RVD for the IC title.

I was about 5... maybe a little older, so around 1984 to 1986. I stopped watching regularly in 2005 though. Only watched Unforgiven and Cyber Sunday this year, and New Years Revolution in 2006. And the odd Raw/SD!/ECW in 07.

The first show I remember watching is Superstars in late 1993 when I was 7. They were highlighting the Bret Hart-Owen Hart feud that was just beginning. I caught the very beginning of the feud and it hooked me in. I watched it religiously until 2004 when JBL became WWE Champion. Not to mention I developed more of a social life since I was still new to Florida and was able to drive. I think it was the beginning of 2007 when I started watching regularly again.

I watched on and off during the Attitude Era, because i was a kid and didnt know there were days of a week and my attention span couldnt contain "monday at 8pm".
and when i was 9 i got back into it around judgement day, and has been stuck ever since.
