I am standing there, the same warehouse that I have been time and time again, looking at the same guy that is always here. It is relatively quiet outside, barely anybody ever comes around here anymore, and there is no wind or rain, as if there it does not even dare to come near this place either, probably due to the smell. The metal walls are starting to rust, and it wont be long until they are completely rusted over.
"So, what do you want this time" the man in front of me asks.
The man in front of me calls himself Deal, he never told me any other name, and we have never talked that much anyway. He is extremely messy looking, traces of food located in his beard. His skin is pasty, and he smells horrible. He obviously has not washed anytime recently. Deal used to be a member of the Disciples, used to be the leader of the group. He made a mistake, and became useless to them. He managed to get away alive, and I only found him recently, in this warehouse.
"The same thing as every other time I have been here" I tell him.
"That means that the answer is the same as last time, I have told you time and time again that I do not know what happened to your parents" He answers, angered "how many more times do we have to go through with this" he adds onto the end. He is starting to get annoyed, and angered.
Every time I have been here I ask the same question. Deal knows something about my parents, and he has no intention on telling me. I have also yet to find out what he did to become useless to the Disciples.
"You do know that I could tell them where you are" I tell him, intent on getting my answers through fear.
"But then they would know that you knew where I have been hiding all these years, they would not like that, would they" he answers. I expected that.
"Then you are useless to me" I tell him, trying to sound as cold as possible, trying to make it clear that I will find out the answers on my own.
I turn to leave, and as I walk I hear him shout.
"How are you ever going to find the answers without me. You cant beat the Disciples"
"I can try!" I shout back.
"How, what are you going to do" he replys, a slight hint of arrogance in his voice. "Burn the church down"
As Deal laughs, a small grin spreads across my face.
