My PS3 WAS working. Now out of nowhere the games are not showing up. It's not reading them. I just got this system. The games stopped showing up after I tried to hook up the internet to it. I unhooked the internet and then went to play a game and now none of my games are being read? Is this anything minor?

I miss the days where I could drop my GameCube down the stairs by accident and it would seemingly work better. :<

Transfer your saves to a memory card before doing so. Did you buy it used? If so maybe it needs cleaning. If you bought it new take it back to the store if you can.

Wait, what? The first thing I imaged was a TV blowing up.

Yeah, I pictured something like a Simpsons gag where Homer pours milk on the cereal and it ignites, or the kids tip over the teachers desk and it blows up.

Peoples launch 60 gig units seem to have issues. There's a yellow light of death that I read about quite a bit on boards.

One thing that I didn't understand whatsoever, is the early models of the 80GB had 4 USB slots and backwards compatibility with PS1 and PS2 games, yet the newer models have 2 USB slots and no backwards compatibility. Being a Rock Band fiend I had to buy a USB hub, I felt like a sleazy 360 owner.

Just doesn't look as dramatic as the 3 blinking lights.

That really sucks, Im gonna get a PS3 on Thursday(80gb) and I hope it doesnt do all this $h*t. My friend Terrance had a PS3 and he said it wouldnt read after he hooked it to the net(80gb), But he took his back to Best Buy and got another. I hope you can get your straightend out. You'd think paying 400-600 dollars for one the damn think would be invincible.

Yeah thats annoying Oh Well, At least you can buy something to connect more USB devices and i have a PS2 so i dont really need backward compatibility
