I would say anyone on this board between 19 and 24 was at one point a Turtle fan it was just the thing back then. I am 22 and was about 3 when they first hit and I got my first donatello from caldors (even tho I liked raph)

Are these just exact rereleases of the originals? If so then they are totally lame, the originals are still easy to get cheap and rereleasing the early ones will just kill off any collector aspect of the originals. I'm not bothered by the value but those ones are the main ones you would want in a TMNT collection, repros are lame and make it pointless collecting them. I have a huge collection of the originals, all of the first few series, loads of the later villains, loads of boxed stuff unopened, Sewer Base, Technodrome etc and I paid very little for it all, probably about the same as it would cost to buy those 4 rereleases. It would be awesome if they did them slightly different (same style but different expressions or something) so they could be added to the old ones or if they did some different characters that were missed out before (like Kraang's Android Body!!!) but for anyone who cared about these figures anyway they offer nothing.

Meh, I like my NECA turtles WAAAAAAAAAY more. Plus, the old school figures from Playmates are still cheap and ridiculously easy to find in comic shops. That does look pretty freakin' bad ass.. I love the 25th too.. But thats the most awesome looking Turtle figure ever..

I still have the originals I bought for $3.99 each back in the day. I lost most of their accessories though.

Are they rubbery head ones? the new re-release version. My bro, when I was young, use to pop the heads off just to piss me off. I saw a black and white version of the Neca ones last week at a toy store. I might go back and pick up the coloured ones.

When they came off...they were so freaking hard to get back on.
