The Olympic Stadium in Montreal? I saw this on Wikipedia and it looks huge, of course I would rather have it in Toronto, but it would be cool to have it their I think.

The Olympic Stadium has major issues. A few years ago pieces of the roof were falling off on the inside. They'd need to fix that place up big time before any WM could go there.

I don't think the WWE has a good enough time in Montreal where they'd risk having the city host a 'Mania, honestly.

I wanna know why they havent had it in Vancouver, our house shows always have huge turn outs yet they have never even had Raw or Smackdown here. On top of that this city is hosting the 2010 olympics! Hell the UFC just fought the last few years to get to hold an event here. What's with WWE I wonder and Vancouver.

I would know because I was sitting front row for it. It was at the PNE Colosseum and the main event was Ric Flair versus Goldberg. Evolution was still around, and Stone Cold was still the GM of Raw at this time. As to why they haven't come back is probably because of the "incidents" that occur after shows here. Most recently, Chris Jericho got into an altercation with a fan who was hounding Jericho while he was driving away from the arena, the video should still be on youtube. This is just a guess though as to why they haven't come back since then, but you never know.

Didn't that altercation happen in Victoria?

Actually, you're right it did. That's why I said it was a guess and didn't state it as fact.
I don't know if the WWE views BC as a whole to be a horrible place to bring their product, but I really hope the change their mind soon. I think the reason why they've never had it at GM Place in Vancouver was because the rental fees for the arena cost too much.

Vancouver is by far the most marketable city in Canada. We only have 2 teams in major sports leagues and the fans won't have many reasons not to be at a show. I'm still waiting for a ppv in Vancouver before a WM.

I think the last PPV that was in Vancouver was WCW New Blood Rising or whatever back in the late 90's lol. That's when WCW was utter crap and their ratings were falling faster than Kevin Nash tearing his quad.

Then again that was the year I moved out here so I may have missed it. Anyways the last PPV/TV show here I remember was the Rock Bottom PPV everything else I just remember being house shows. Still 2003 seems like too long if a time to not hold another Raw or Smackdown event here. I dont imagine it has anything to do with incidents, as I imagine little things happen at most arenas just sometimes things like the Jericho incident gets blown out of the water. Besides that only happened last Feb, that doesn't explain all the years before that. I thought they had a great crowd turn out at the PNE last Feb, not sure why we couldn't fill GM Place.

Here's the main event for that Raw I was at back in 2003:
I was behind Lillian Garcia when she's doing the introductions. I was wearing a red hat, but because of the video quality I doubt I can be seen.

I think the last PPV to be in Vancouver was mid 9os. But I would love for a WM to be in GM place. I would def go. its surprising it is only in Toronto.

Maybe after the Olympics, Vancouver will get more global recognition than it currently has.

Yeah BC Place is definitely better suited for a ppv imo.

Either way if WM doesn't come to Canada before WM 30 I guess I will settle for that. No matter how crappy it may be I wanna see at least one.
