I wanted to make a Dustin Rhodes using the Goldust head, has anyone removed the paint on his face...is it painted a normal Jakks skintone under the makeup or do I have to paint the skintone on.Also what should I use to remove the paint, with little to no damage ? Thanks in advance ;D

well looking at Pic's of the head the gold skin tone looks painted on the head. you would probaly have to use some kind paint remover to get it off. cleaning out the ears would really be hard to do, and any kind remover would probably take the paint off the eyes. unless your very very carefull. I know I took a Road Warrior Animal head and to remove the paint i soaked it and the head got a lil soft and sticky so that was a bad idea. so probably painting over it will be a better idea

Hey! I use laquer thinner to remove unwanted paint. Be careful around the eyes, as you do not want to repaint them (I've seen some terrible eye paint apps in my day). Also, use a q-tip to remove the paint from his face. This works well, and comes in a big can for about $5 in the paint section of Wal-mart. I am not a fan of skintone painting. Give it a try!
