Awesome stuff. If he gets Shearer alongside him, they will surely make the UEFA Cup Spot.

Theres only one Kevin Keegan! Welcome back the glory days! At least with it being Ashleys appointment he will get time to work with the team. Great choice for manager! Shearer for #2

If Newcastle finish in the top half of the table this season it'll be good for them, realistically speaking.

Not one worth mentioning It's a trophy non the less I'm not defending Newcastle because, tbh, we have been playing pretty bad football since Bobby Robson left. Maybe even before that. But now that Keegan is here, and he is Ashleys choice, I think we can finish the season maybe about 8th or 9th. We wont get a European spot this season but it was a good decision to bring Keegan to Newcastle in January so that he can settle in and get ready for the summer. £60m should buy us 9 or 10 decent players who can fit into the side easily and play Keegans style of football, which Newcastle have missed since he left. *Edit* 0-0 draw today was probably fair, tbh. We never looked like scoring. Bolton pressed us a few times in the first half but nothing spectacular. We where the stronger side second half i felt and there was a few times we culd have scored a winner. didn't happen though. Given made an amazing save in the last 5 minutes to keep us in the game. I thought we played well with what we had, few of our player are out at African Cup Of Nations. When we attacked you could see it was Keegans tactics, decent play up the wing and less of the long ball which we where playing with sam. More across the floor passing which is good football, if you ask me.
