What an awesome thrill ride the Aussie GP was, a brilliant result for Lewis and Heidfeld/Sauber and a sneaky point for Kimi after Rubens was DQ'd. Brilliant driving with Traction Control gone and it was impressive how well Lewis was able to keep his cool and drive away from everyone in the sweltering heat. Ferrari were never able to show their true pace i feel and they will be right back near the front i imagine at the next GP. Well you may be wondering when you're next fix is coming, THIS WEEKEND! Round 2, taking place in Malaysia at the place at the Sepang International Circuit. Should be another scorcher and another great display of adrenaline, skill and class meeting each other to provide us with an exciting race. Hopefully there will be more than 7 cars that make it to the finish but i have my doubts, i feel that this will be another incident packed one with everyone still trying to figure out exactly what they can all do with the car they have. The Tifosi Strikes Back! Well after the dismal display from Ferrari in the last GP, they will want to strike back with a vengeance. Ferrari are aiming to win at all costs this weekend and Raikonnen will have his eyes set on it, Massa will also want a much improved weekend after he had "3 colours of **** kicked out of him" by DC the last, that is the direct quote from Coulthard after Massa took him out, lolz. Mclaren will be full of confidence right now and look good for the victory and BMW will also be looking for the race win after looking quite strong in Austrailia. Above all else, most of the 22 car field will want to see an improvement on how many of them see the chequered flag, only 6 cars made it to the end, in the end - Barrichello was DQ'd, and they will all be aiming for at the very least finishing the race but i would say 3/4 of the field will be looking for points in this race. Well after the recent news this is the last Malaysian grand prix to be shown by ITV and commented on by Martin Brundle & James Allen, so enjoy it and enjoy the rest of the season for potentially the very last time. Pole: Raikonnen, 2nd: Hamilton, 3rd: Kubica 1st: Hamilton, 2nd: Raikonnen, 3rd: Kubica

I get the feeling that Ferrari (and Toro Rosso for that matter as they use a Ferrari engine) may have one or two technical difficulties again, probably during practice and qualifying. It'd be fantastic to have Lewis win again and hopefully a safety car won't ruin a McLaren 1-2 this time. Rosberg is definitely one to watch in this race and I could even go as far to say that he'll qualify 3rd or 4th. I pray that not nearly as many cars will retire this time as just 7 cars finishing is not good (but not as bad as the 6 starters in Indy 05).

Button 4th fastest in second practice? Surely that wont last. Hamiltom fastest in the second ahead of the ferraris. The thing is, the teams sandbag in practice alot of the time but over one lap Honda were quick, but i would imagine half the drivers are not pushing the limits of their cars. Mclaren look dominant, after last weekend i think Hamilton should be the favourite for alot of races unless Ferrari's pace quickens consistently and of course the car stays reliable but Lewis looks mighty.

Can see this being a bad weekend for Hamilton. Ferrari are certainly better suited for this GP, although they were better than Mclaren for the single Lap; It may be a different story overall for a whole GP.
Shame I wont be able to watch it. Got football in the morning so I'll miss the live Show, I'll be down the pub for the football for the repeat, and clubbing in the evening for the highlights. =[

Hamilton & Kovalainen have been sent five places back , i think all the cars slowing down at the end of qualifying should have been docked 5 places, this looks like Ferrari politicking against Mclaren. There were 6 or 7 cars going slow when Heidfeld & Alonso were putting in their laps including Ferrari's and they dock only Mclaren, such a joke imo.

Cant believe Ferrari didnt get places docked as well, bit of a joke to be honest. Ferrari 1-2 seems fairly obvious now, think Hamilton will end up 5th or 6th

Okay. Just watched the last 27 laps (I got up at like 7:50am or w/e). Here's what I can remember:
1. Raikkonen 2. Kubica 3. Kovalinen 4. Trulli 5. Hamilton
Didnt finish: Vettel Massa Somebody else (possibly 2 more people, not really top 10 drivers)

A totally dominant performance from Kimi, couldn't believe Massa's car let go on him like that. That pesky Ferrari engine let go on Vettel . Toyota in Trulli's hands looks decent, Rosberg fast after his problems at the start of the race. I thought Nakajima at one point was going very well indeed, from where h was on the grid, it appeared as if he was just picking them off one by one.

Third and fifth (Heikki - Lewis) was probably as good as we were going to get in this race. Shame about the pit-stop troubles for Lewis which cost him around 12 seconds. I thought Rosberg would have done well but it seems like he only found his pace near the end when he was lapping almost as fast as the Ferrari duo. Pleased to see most of the cars finish this time but all in all it was a rather plain race. Highlight of the race for me was Alonso, Coulthard and Heidfeld going flat out up the back straight side-by-side-by-side.
