Imagine my suprise when Real Radio in Scotland announced that my team St Mirren were looking to sign Robbie Fowler. Complete bollox of course, as the chairman was quick to point out.

Your new chairman has asked Barcalona about Ronaldinho's transfer status. That's what it said in a couple of papers Their not willing to let him budge for less than £58 million though I don't think

Yeah i know, i heard about that, really cannot see this happening! If he wouldn't go to Chelsea, we've got no ing chance! Mike Ashley has some ambition but it's too early signing players of that calibre for Newcastle, with that £58m we could buy a strong defence, which we desperately need!

Well I reckon you should wait and see what comes of this Deco interest. I know, still i don't think we'll get him, Ashley and Allardyce are going after far more higher skilled players than Newcastle needs, we need a few hard working defenders. When Allardyce signed his contract he said 'My aim is to find undiscovered talent, like i did at Bolton', seems to me as if that was his aim until Ashley come with his big bank account and Big Sam thought, i'll have some of that. All in all, yes, i would be glad if we signed Ronaldinho and Deco, but in reality it won'y happen, plus enquiring about them is wasting valuable transfer market time, we could be putting our intrest towards much more likely signings.
