Like someone else a few days ago who asked about the best Batista to buy I am looking to upgrade my Randy to do his tats on. I know he's due for a new fig, but that's a few sets away. So WF'ers what's the best RA Randy to buy.(wrestling gear )  |

I like the new AD34 version w/ JBL. Its got cool attire and the first to feature his extended back tat. Also RA32 is a great figure too. Those are the two best.

I really like the RA32 attire, but RA31.5 is one of my favourite headscans.

Orton with the heavyweight torso is horrible so avoid the AD 34 version. I myself am still using the Wal-Mart belt pack one that came with Edge from about a year and a half ago... the next Orton I buy will be an updated one which I can wait it out for. If you need one that bad right now I recommend RA 32 or PPV Royal Rumble (even though the scan sucks and the boots are wrong on both). Other than that there's not many good Orton's out there that you can get easily.

anthing w/ the ripped cruiserweight torso and the peoples eyebrow headscan. I have the one that came in the hell in a cell set (way back when) and i love it. the only fix up i did was give him an open hand (i think) and give him "rocky" boots. i wanna re-do his tats, but i'm not that worried about it. I don't want to mess up my favorite one by writing on his arms. here's mine on the Shelf of Champions (alongside fix up Jeff and Punk) - for a current, i'd go with a black trunked version- but anything with these parts is key.  |

I don't like the new scan -- he has a cartoon character looking face, and there are way too many of his figures coming out with that ridiculous heavyweight torso. |

My Orton figure is a Summerslam Orton in orange trunks with a newer head. Might get another SS one with older Undertaker arms. I prefer color on my Ortons, the black trunks are just boring.

For mine, I took the RA32 body, put on old Taker arms, swapped the headscan for the straightfaced one, and swapped out the boots for the Rocky boots. That is the ideal current Orton to me.
Any of the ones with the ripped cruiser are fine. Then pick a headscan and tights color and swap the boots for the Rocky boots.

Im a big fan of Orton, and have been since day one... here we go.....
There is no perfect orton. And honestly the best orton is a fix up. My favorite orton is the summerslam orange trunk fig( his first Heavywieght title win) with a head swap to the exact scan and painting from his hell in a cell fig. Next swap out a big show right hand with ortons... An there you have it, a great orton fig to do his pose with! the best fig ever... Im debating on wether to switch the boots with the rocky mold or not.
I also did a head swap with the newest half smile scan on the hell in a cell body. This is what i use as in my evolution of orton as the ic champ reign. Again I used a big show right hand switch to do the randy orton pose. Sick.. I will post some picks soon of my orton shelf. I have a custom debut fig as well that i painted.
