December 2006
After the failure of the WWE's ECW, made evident at their December pay-per-view, December to Dismember, the WWE released Paul Heyman from his contract due to the ECW being his idea, Heyman found a loophole in his contract about him being immune from being released until July 2009.
January 2007
With ECW now being under Vince McMahon's control, Paul Heyman takes action, warning Vince of something bad about to happen to his WWE. Heyman is escorted from the WWE Headquarters on January 11th after McMahon denies Heyman's supposed threat.
February 2007
Heyman makes action and declares on February 4th that he is taking the WWE staff to court after the previous happenings. At the first day of court, Vince McMahon denies writing Heyman's contract and denies any proof that ECW was in his contract. ECW on Sci-Fi is taken off the air and the 'new breed' stars move to SmackDown and Raw as the 'originals' are let go at their own free will. As court is going on, the originals debut on NWA television and consequently with some previously released originals, make another promotion, NWA Philly.
March 2007
After a grippling month and a half in court, Vince McMahon no shows the final meeting and automatically loses. Later in March, Vince McMahon gives Paul Heyman half of the roster, on open contracts with both promotions. McMahon also gives Heyman $24 million and gives him a copy of all of the old WWF tapes.
June 2007
Chris Benoit passes away and therefore pushes back the debut show of IWOW [due to him being signed by IWOW along with various others]. Heyman appears on Vince McMahon's Raw the night afterwards and makes a statement and in the end of the promo advertising IWOW to make a debut in August.
July 2007
Paul Heyman buys out the MHW [Massacre's Hardcore Wrestling] shortly after their first week on television and after nine months in business. Owner Michael Jarman hands everything including several contracts over to Heyman, who then gives Jarman a job as a trainer in IWOW's child company, Brawl 4 All Wrestling [B4AW].
August 2007
Owner, Paul Heyman once again pushes back the first monthly show, Restless back and makes a deal with fellow debuting show, Bottom Line Wrestling [TBL] and the two select their rosters in an attempt to overtake the other show. TBL, already set with a television deal with Turner Broadcasting Television [TNT] and a show set to debut in early September [Deathwish] challenges Heyman to a promotion war.
September 2007
On September 2nd, Paul Heyman finally gets a television deal on Tuesday nights during Primetime alongside a Sunday evening slot with the USA Network and Sky Sports UK. After several weeks of hype, Restless #1 airs on September 25th and gains just over 7.0 and wakes up WWE, who airs Raw on the same TV network every Monday. McMahon attempts to buy out Heyman but he declines all attempts.
January 2008
The WWE's ratings and IWOW's ratings clash as IWOW has moved to Saturday nights on TNN and is over and under the WWE's rating for Raw. IWOW and WWE trade ratings but on January 30th, TNN grants IWOW another slot on Wednesday afternoons at 4pm. Meanwhile, Paul Heyman and Vince McMahon meet on the last day of January.
February 2008
The meeting is spread throughout the wrestling world where the two companies decide to promote each others shows, WWE by advertising IWOW at least once on every show. IWOW alternatively decides to use their power of the WWE's video tapes and fills the slot with WWE Classics. IWOW has recently announced that they will start broadcasting this show on February 6th with the first Superstars of 1994.
