I was watching the SNME DVD last night & got to the Hogan/Andre rematch. Before the match both of them cut promos, but I noticed a few things during Hogan's.
First, during his promo he was wearing a bandana covering his entire head, & when he came out he had on a cut one that just went across his forehead.
I didn't think much of it, but that was when I noticed a different belt. He was wearing the old WWF title used in the mid 80's during his promo, & then came to the ring wearing the winged eagle belt.
Is this an example of them shooting promos in advance of the actual shows, or perhaps just a quick change?

This sort of thing happened a ton back then. Since the promos were all pre taped, you'd constantly see a guy wearing different clothes. I still find it hilarious.

That match was actually the on-screen debut of the Winged Eagle belt, so yeah it was most likely a case of the promos being taped at the previous set of TV tapings.

SummerSlam '90 had a bunch of these goofs:
- Kerry Von Erich, different color trunks - Hart Foundation saying they will take care of Ax & Crush..It was Crush & Smash
Funny stuff really.

Alot of the wrestlers are in street clothes "immediately" before their match. Also, the opponents were in the same locker room at the same time. ;D

Remember Dusty Rhodes doing something similar at a WWF PPV in 1990, running to the ring with a jacket when in the prior segment he wasn't wearing one.
Does Vince McMahon on an old RAW count? He left Mankind's boiler room as Mankind was in the background talking to The Rock when in the previous segment Mankind was in the boiler room.
