Ok so I sold an item on ebay and I was led to believe that once the buyer had recieved the item and left positive feedback that the money would no longer be on hold in my paypal account.
I have recieved positive feedback (ive also left feedback) and the item has been recieved but I still cant use the money that was paid into my account, its still on hold.
Its been 24 hours since I recieved positive feedback but on my paypal account it says "on hold - post now" This is so frustrating

Is it an echeck? Also how many transactions have you had. They may have transferred straight from a credit card. It shouldn't take more than 3-4 days. Also unless they pay directly from their account it won't transfer from a bank card or credit card on the weekends.

Sounds like an E-Check. The funds take a few days to clear.

If it is not an e-check, paypal does random holdings of funds. If someone has left you positive feedback (and I have had previous experience with this and called paypal) they don't update the system until around 3-4pm the next day. So it won't be available to you until they update the system. Call them if you like and find it out. They do it randomly.
