ECW Hardcore TV 1-5-2001 From: Buffalo, NY 10:00 - 10:05: Joey Styles and Joel Gertner open up the show with their typical interaction. Gertner with one of his classic lines to get the crowd ready for the show. That is until one of our biggest heel characters, Cyrus comes out to gloat about ECW being taken of TNN in favor for WWF television. Styles has to hold Gertner back from hitting Cyrus. 10:08 - 10:15: Spike Dudley defeated Spanish Angel of the DA Baldies. Angel tried to be the bully of the match and it worked early on. DeVito got involved by nailing Dudley with a kendo stick. DA Baldies continue to work over Spike until Balls Mahoney comes down and takes them out with a chair. Spike picks up the win with the Acid Drop through a table. ** 10:16 - 10:18: A taped promo by ECW World Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino. The promo is directed towards Jerry Lynn, a former ECW Heavyweight Champion. Corino knows that Lynn has been going around saying that Corino never pinned him, so Lynn doesn’t see Corino as the Champion until Corino pins him. Corino lets Lynn know that at Guilty As Charged, he will prove to the world and Jerry Lynn that he is the real deal and that he is the real King of Old School. 10:21 - 10:23: A taped promo with the “Innovator of Violence” Tommy Dreamer directed towards CW Anderson. Dreamer puts over CW Anderson a great athlete and puts over the fact that CW beat him at Massacre on 34th Street. However, Dreamer isn’t done with CW Anderson. Dreamer promotes his nickname as the Innovator of Violence and challenges CW Anderson to a I Quit Match at Guilty As Charged. “If you have any balls, I’ll see you at the pay per view.” 10:24 - 10:26: Joey Styles and Joel Gertner promote house shows coming to a town near you. 10:27 - 10:29: A video promoting Guilty As Charged on January 28th, 2001 from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City is shown. 10:30 - 10:46: Jerry Lynn defeated Nova in a superb contest. Lynn and Nova’s styles really matched up well. Nova nearly won the contest following a guillotine leg drop. Lynn nails Nova with a tornado DDT but Nova pops his shoulder up. Nova battles back with a German suplex but Lynn doesn’t stay down. Lynn blocks a power bomb attempt by connecting with a DDT. Lynn finishes Nova off with the cradle pile driver to pick up the hard fought win. They shake hands after the match. ***½ 10:47 - 10:48: Video promoting Guilty As Charges on January 28th, 2001 from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City is shown. 10:51 - 10:53: Joey Styles and Joel Gertner promote house shows coming to a town near you. 10:54 - 10:57: A taped promo with Justin Credible sitting in his locker room is shown. Justin… Credible!” 10:58 - 11:00: A video for ECW Guilty As Charged on January 28th, 2001 from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. End of Show

Gotta say, the format is pretty cool, I love how everything is like timed. Didn't seem too special of an opening contest, Spike Dudley beating Spanish Angel is fine. I personally loved Jerry Lynn vs Steve Corino, remember seeing it one time, where Lynn won the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. Hmm, hope Tommy Dreamer rises above this feud with CW Anderson. Hate Anderson. Awesome main event with Lynn beating Nova. Nothing too special though. I love this feud between Rob Van Dam and Jerry Lynn, good to close down the show.

Decent idea showing the times. Ok opener, I was pulling for Da Baldies though. Like the videos to keep the show realistic. Lynn-Nova seemed like a good lengthy match. Fine finish to the show. Nothing too much to comment on thus far.

ECW Hardcore TV 1-12-2001 From: Philadelphia, PA 10:00 - 10:04: Joey Styles and Joel Gertner run down the show along with hype for Steve Corino/Jerry Lynn at ECW Guilty As Charged in sixteen days. Gertner turns his attention to Cyrus and tells Cyrus that he is sick of his **** and that so are plenty of the boys in the back. A nice way to start the show. Matthews takes it to Guido early on with a tilt a whirl back breaker followed by a swinging neck breaker. Harvard insults both the ECW locker room and the ECW fans by saying “many of you are most likely wondering where I am right now. Considering that none of you have the intelligence nor the money to afford the proper education. Because if you did, you wouldn’t be hitting each other with chairs and driving each other through flaming tables. I’ll teach all of you what wrestling is truly all about.” 10:28 - 10:30: A taped promo with Simon Diamond is shown. Diamond has a problem, as usual. His problem now is that he is pissed off that a woman named Jazz is getting all this hype. Diamond isn’t even sure Jazz is a true woman. You've got a unique layout going on, and to be honest, I quite like it. Nice way to kick off the show. Most people would have put York/Matthews over, so kudos for not. Chris Nowinski? Awesome. Another nice tag team match. You've got a pretty good card so far for Guilty As Charged. Show seemed relatively short, but I can understand why.

This is a great layout and good idea, I am really suprised usually your diaries don't last long, the writing seems fine and the booking is good also, Chris N is also a cool idea, rather 3 matches per show but heh its your show, the card looks good esp the main event hopefully Corino retains, good luck and keep this up

1/19: War thing could be interesting. Like the line by Diamond at the end, Jazz vs. men can only lead to interesting things. Dreamer winning is good for him.
1/26: Good win for Rhino, really want to see who he faces at the PPV. Interesting tag match there with Danny & Roadkill. Sandman-Swinger was decent as well. And I liked ending with a nice Corino promo.
So far the shows are really realistic. It's just tough replying since half of the material seems to be pre-recorded videos and what not.

Glad that you made them look them but smart move to make sure the champs won -Chris Harvard is awesomeness, hime & Sandman could be interesting -Surprised that Sandman put on a good match -Corino's promo sounded great especially the part about his scar, hope he retains at the PPV
Good show, this is going great so far

I've been looking forward to this, and so far I'm really liking it. I would have liked to see something about Paul E. reacting to being kicked off of TNN. What network are they on? It's going great by the way. I'm really digging this.

Interesting idea to use the time format for the PPV as well. 4-way sounded like a good way to kick off the show, TNA still tries to do it like that to this day. Decent tag match there with the right team going over. Diamond winning was fine, and I don't know how others will feel, but I liked the Rodney Mack usage. I hope Jazz continues to fight men as well, it's interesting. Good win for Doring/Roadkill to give them some credibility. I really love the usage so far of Chris Nowinski/Harvard. He makes for a great ECW like heel. Hope he has a push coming his way despite the loss. Rhino winning was the right call, and by kicking out of the Gore, it makes Tanaka look stronger. Like the ending to the Dreamer match, sounded pretty sick. Surprised Credible won, but I like both men. The fact that it was not clean made it good. I'm also sensing a title change since Credible won. Ok, or not. Good win for Corino to boost his credibility as well. Maybe a triple threat upcoming? All in all it was a good first PPV for the diary. I like your WCW one better as of now, but this one is coming along pretty well.

Great match to open the show. I always loved watching Tajiri and Super Crazy work together. Nice seeing Spike and Balls still teaming. I'm totally digging Chris Harvard in ECW. Definitely gives a great story. Good title defense by Rhino. I loved Justin Credible's run as ECW champion, I'd like to see that again. Credible vs. Corino should be good.

I don't know why, but I'm really enjoying the format of this diary. It's somewhat simple, but it gets the job done. Please try to keep the ECW Television Championship on Rhino for as long as you can. I've always been a huge fan of his. Nice job on this so far.
