www.purevolume.com/corduroyjacksonTo listen click above. I started a band a year ago.. We played one gig, and then that was it. The drummer and I have played some stuff with other musicians but this band was something fun. At the time it was called Kile Jack, Tom and Me. But since Kile's recent douchery we decided to go to a trio making it Jack, Tom and Me.. "Me" is the drummer, Ryan... But my name is Jack. It's confusing on purpose The drummer is now a truck driver, and Tom is at an out of state college so we haven't been able to get together to record or practice anything. Last night we got together to play, and we recorded our practices. I know I am not the greatest singer, but I try.. and I'm just trying to work with what I got. I'd love to have a different singer but no one is available. Anywho, I am wondering which version of each song you think is better. The most noticable things (besides me going sharp or flat), is that there are no drums until the end of the build in Hit or Miss take 2.. Aside from that the songs have the same format pretty much. Let me know.. And I'll listen to constructive feedback. Thanks

for singing...i suggest you almost try less. as stupid as it sounds, start off by practising by yourself and basically just yell it. don't think about the overall sound of your voice, just hitting the right notes. once you've developed your voice to do this, you can work on exactly what 'sound' you want out of it. years ago people told me i'd never be a good singer, and i'm happy to say i can now sing in many diverse styles. but it took a lotta work. do not think you can't improve your voice, you can.

I liked hit or miss take 2. Seriously though, if you are thinking of making it big, I would advise getting a better singer (no offense to the singer). It would make a huge difference. The music sounds good, the lyrics are pretty good, but a voice needs to match the mood. Other than that good job and good luck.

Playing music locally is just something I enjoy doing, but if I put it on a larger scale I think I would resent it. My only goal with my music is to find someone out there who can connect with it
