...was WrestleMania 15!!
So yeah, wat are your memories of this event and thoughts about it?
This was my first Mania, and I, unlike others, was more interested in the Bossman/Taker match than anyother, and when I watched it I was so scared I sent it to get recorded over, and I wouldn't see it for nearly 9 years.
Watching it now, I can still enjoy the HIAC match, but also the ME was really good and really went off with a bang.

Doesn't seem like it was that long at all. Time flies, thats for sure.
It was my first Wrestlemania as well. I didn't get to see it live, I think I borrowed the tape from someone, or maybe I didn't see it at all until I got the DVD years later.
Anyway, it was technically my first Wrestlemania since i began watching regularly in December of 98.
I didn't really catch Wrestlemania fever that year, though. It wasn't until Wrestlemania 2000 that I really grasped the magnitude of how big the show is.

Same, I had only been watching since Janurary of 99, and didn't really get the whole "big" thing about Mania, I was still watching alot of Simpsons, lol

I remember all the wrestlers coming to the ring on Heat for the Battle Royal, where the last two teamed to battle Jarrett & O. Hart, then my friend calling me and my house phone was in a room w/out a TV. So, I was pissed when he called because they just announced The Public Enemy, who were the last to enter, and I wanted to drop the pone and run because I was going to miss the battle royal. I finally had to tell him to shut up b/c he was commentating as he watched Heat and I couldn't so I hung up on him and enjoyed the battle royal.
....I never saw Wrestle Mania XV live.

I borrowed the tape from a friend like a week after the show. I remember being mega-hyped for that event. With all the shows leading up to it incorporating all the feuds between Austin/Rock, Austin/McMahon, DX/Corporation, the early days of the Hardcore Title, not to mention Sable in Playboy was a pretty big deal to 10-year-old (or so) Barrett. That was definitely wrestling's most popular point as far as my friends were considered. I remember the day after PPVs like Royal Rumble, St. Valentine's Day Massacre, and Wrestlemania. There was only one or two kids in the class who had been able to see them and everyone else was hounding them for the results. My, those were good times.

I hated this mania at the time and still do to this day. This was my first Mania as a so called "smart" fan and I realised how crap it was. The only good match is the main event. Overall It was the 4th Mania I ordered but I had seen them all up to that point.

Outside of Wrestlemania 11, I felt it was the worse Mania of all time....of course that was until Wrestlemania "2000"

I liked it
Rock vs Austrin was a great ME although the rematch at Backlash 99 was better
HHHs heel turn was a super swerve-did anyone see that coming?
Taker vs Bossman was awful......just dreadful.
Show vs Mankind was pretty good too I thought

I enjoyed it at the time. Looking back, I really don't like the event much at all. It didn't hold up well over time for me. I remembering being thrilled when Chyna turned face and then PISSED that Triple H turned heel.

I loved it at the time (I was 7, going on 8 years old) because my favorite wrestler back then (Austin) won the WWF Title. But looking back on it now, it wasn't that great. Austin/Rock was an awesome match but everything else was just terrible. Taker/Bossman was a huge letdown for me.

I loved it at the time. Looking back, besides the main event the card wasnt the best, but it was fun.
