The Wrestling Observer is reporting that top Ring of Honor talent Bryan Danielson will most lilkely be taking some time off from wrestling when his contract expires with the company in May. Danielson has been training vigorously at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas, in preparation for a possible future in Mixed Martial Arts. The report also notes that Danielson plans to go to Thailand for 3 months to further his training, which could mean a departure from ROH for at leat that long.
Thoughts?

I kinda doubt it will happen. I do see him taking some time off but I don't see him really making a foray into MMA. But if he really wants to best of luck to him.

ROH is dead. Good to see Danielson is getting off a sinking ship.

It doesn't seem that Pearce may be the problem. Cary was the one who wanted to make Lynn champion after all.

They had these rumors about MMA like a year back witht hte Couture camp. He just uses it to train. I would take all this information with a grain of salt until we see or hear from ROH or Dragon himself.

Something makes me want to believe that this news isn't true. If anything, I think Danielson will jump over to the WWE. At this point, he doesn't have much more to achieve in Ring of Honor.
