World Wrestling Federation Presents...
RAW is WAR
East Rutherford, New Jersey
Live on USA Network
- A complete recap of last night's WWF spectacular, WrestleMania XV, pretty much a copy of the video package that closed down the event, last night. It highlighted the Brawl 4 All in which Butterbean knocked out Bart Gunn, Paul Wight laying out Vince McMahon, as well as Triple H betraying X-Pac, The Undertaker beating Big Bossman in Hell in a Cell, plus the main event with "Stone Cold" Steve Austin beating The Rock to win the WWF Championship.
- "Thorn In Your Eye" played as the opening video package for RAW is WAR, hyping up the opening of this Monday night primetime program. It ends showing the RAW logo before cutting to the arena where pyrotechnics all exploded and the camera showed off many signs, lights flashing, and before you know it, Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler began discussing last night, and how 'epic' it was. They called it one of the biggest nights in professional wrestling history, but it's time to look forward to WrestleMania XVI, live on Sunday 2nd April from Anaheim, California!

- The theme of The Corporation played as Vince McMahon appeared from the backstage area, not a happy look on his face, as The Rock, Triple H, Test and Chyna followed him out to the ring, Vince climbing into the ring and becoming the recipient of 'bunghole' chants in which Jerry Lawler played biasedly against the fans. Vince told everybody to shut up, saying how last night was the downfall, pretty much the dissolvement of The Corporation's success. Vince informed us of Big Bossman being absent from last night's heinus hanging from the cell, courtesy of The Ministry of Darkness. Vince told us that Ken Shamrock is busy roaming around pissed, but Vince told us that the weakness will never show again! Vince said that he's still the same man he was twenty-four hours ago, and that tonight, he has an idea. Vince decided to make a tag team match in which The Acolytes, Bradshaw and Faarooq will take on Chyna and Triple H, Sunday night on HeAT! Vince also makes Ken Shamrock vs "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in a no-holds barred match for the WWF Championship!

Tori defeated Ivory by disqualification (4:45) Mike Sparks was the official. This was a nothing match, it consisted of Tori hitting some decent punches though, she seems uncharismatic, but her in-ring ability is pretty on par, better than Sable, really wish Tori would of beaten her last night. Ivory fought however, she had a plaster on her cheek from a cigarette burn courtesy of Terri Runnels last night. Tori hit a decent DDT before hitting a Sable Bomb, Ivory seemingly left out cold, Tori covering but Nicole Bass stepped into the ring and dragged Tori away from Ivory!

- Nicole Bass picked up Tori and slammed her down with a chokeslam! Bass taunting her as the crowd booed loudly, but there and then, Terri Runnels and Jacqueline ran down to the ring along with a guy in trunks! Meat gave Bass several shots, hitting her in the gut with a dropkick! Meat had ran off the mountain of a lady, Nicole Bass. The Pretty Mean Sisters applauded Meat as Bass backed up the rampway with Sable by her side.

- We cut to the backstage area as Kevin Kelly was standing by with X-Pac, as X-Pac began to review the previous happenings from last night's WrestleMania XV spectacular, highlighting him almost kicking Shane McMahon's ass to regain the WWF European Championship, only for Triple H and Chyna to make a break for it and betray him. X-Pac vowed that D-Generation X will never die, and that The New Age Outlaws and X-Pac are still one unit! X-Pac talked about his match later on tonight, in which X-Pac meets The Brood member, Edge in one-on-one action.
____________________________________________________
- Vince McMahon is seen in the backstage area, seated in a sofa as he is in the middle of a chat on the phone with Stephanie, asking repeatedly if Steph is okay. The lines suddenly cut out as Vince curses, getting up and panicking over if the Ministry of Darkness could of snatched her away!

"Big Show" Paul Wight defeated Kurrgan (5:59) Jimmy Korderas was the official. This was a battle of the titans, in which it featured Paul Wight, fresh off of knocking Vince unconscious last night at WrestleMania, go up against one members of The Oddities. It wasn't too grand a match, if I'm speaking honestly. Kurrgan had some sluggish punches and Wight was the one calling the match. Kurrgan did only one thing that impressed me, and that is bodyslamming Paul Wight, but then again there isn't much size difference. Show blocked Kurrgan's chokeslam with the chokeslam of his own that he calls the Showstopper for the win.
*1/2
- "Big Show" Paul Wight began to celebrate, talking trash as Mankind suddenly came wandering out, walking with a limp while wearing his sweats as usual, Mankind reminding Wight of last night in which Mankind could of beaten Paul for the opportunity to fight as the special referee in Steve Austin vs The Rock, but pussied out, and chose to attempt to cripple an already broken man. Mankind goes off on one, getting a barbwire-wrapped bat out from under the ring and rushing in the ring, swinging it like crazy but Wight had already left the ring!

- An advertisement for WWF Backlash is shown, it is live on pay-per-view, Sunday 25th April 1999, it was based around Mankind.

- We see "Stone Cold" Steve Austin arrive at the arena as the audience went bezerk, Austin locking eyes with a present "Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman on the way. Austin questions Blackman for looking but Blackman denys it, Austin giving Blackman a right hand! The WWF Champion continues to walk.

"Hardcore" Holly defeated Al Snow to retain the WWF Hardcore Championship (7:11) Jack Doan was the official. This was a decent contest here, which is really saying something if you ask me. Holly did some rough-housing of Snow, as Al refused to give up in this triumphant battle with Bob Holly. Holly nailed Snow with a video tape, as well as using Head against him, but Al began to battle back, the two beginning to fight around ringside as well. Snow took Holly down into the front row, Snow grabbing Holly and dragging him back off, hitting Holly with a frying pan! Snow covered but a ho appeared, seducing Snow into distraction! Godfather came from behind with a chair shot to the head as Holly covered for the win!
**- "Hardcore Holly" began to celebrate with the WWF Hardcore Championship, but Godfather nailed Holly with the frying pan! Godfather began to pose with the title before laying it across Holly's body, leaving the scene!

- We go to the backstage where D'Lo Brown was seen, Test appearing from the other side of the screen, D'Lo asking what the hell Test's problem is with him and Ivory. Test said that he never wanted to be paired with somebody other than The Corporation. D'Lo tells Test to back off of him, because otherwise, he WILL recognise.

- We go to the backstage area as Goldust was seen, seated by the Blue Meanie as Meanie calls Goldust 'mommy' repeatedly, Goldust saying that tonight would be the night that the Golden one will finally get it...the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Meanie seems excited.

- We see Gangrel standing in a red light in the hallway with Edge and Christian of The Brood as we also see X-Pac, Edge vs X-Pac is up next!
-
X-Pac defeated Edge in 8:44. Earl Hebner was the official. This was a back and forth contest between two talented performers with quite a bit of potentials. X-Pac's kicks dominated this match, causing the audience to stand in awe every time X-Pac used his feet. Edge began to tire down X-Pac however. Christian and Gangrel were both at ringside as they repeatedly cost X-Pac an opportunity to win, before Billy Gunn and Jesse James came out and took out The Brood as the match continued through the commercial break. The finish was pretty hot as Edge attempted the Downward Spiral but X-Pac rolled through, got to his feet and nailed the X-Factor for the win!
**1/2
- X-Pac began to celebrate as the lights flickered, signalling a bloodbath courtesy of The Brood, but X-Pac dived out of the ring, Edge being the recipient of the bloodbath! Gangrel and Christian however, still came out, taking down X-Pac and beating on him as The New Age Outlaws returned, brawling with The Brood!
____________________________________________________
- Jim Ross and Jerry "King" Lawler then discuss what's gone on at the announce table, and in the ring, saying that it has been announced for Gangrel, Edge and Christian of The Brood to meet X-Pac, Billy Gunn and Jesse James of D-Generation X on RAW next week!
____________________________________________________
- We go to the McMahon household as we see Vince McMahon charging in through the front door, yelling around the house to no response. He searches the massive living room before discovering the Taker symbol spray-painted onto the wall! McMahon weeps.

Goldust defeated "Road Dogg" Jesse James to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship (6:53) Mike Chioda was the official. This was a pretty decent match here, as Goldust was accompanied out to the ring by the Blue Meanie. Jesse James fought using his technique and brawling styles, but really that style equaled things up, since Goldust adopts a style much like that. Goldust used many of his unique uppercuts here. James took out Blue Meanie with a right hand, after distracting Chioda, leading to the finish. Goldust hit his Curtain Call move for the win!
**1/4
- Goldust begins to celebrately, cowardly crawling out of the ring and celebrating with his 'son' (?), the Blue Meanie.

Canadian Country defeated The Hardy Boyz in 5:50. Tim White was the official. his was an interesting sort of squash match. The Hardy Boyz as you may know have recently been hanging around the Shotgun Saturday Night and pre-pay-per-view editions of Sunday Night HeAT, but here they came out in cargo pants and shirts, and repeatedly got beaten down by the WWF Tag Team Champions, but both Hardy brother kept getting back up from it, Jeff eventually went up top and hit the move he calls the Senton Bomb on Owen Hart but when he covered, Debra flashed referee Tim White, and Jarrett hit the Stroke from behind on Jeff.
**1/2- Canadian Country, Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart began to celebrate with the WWF Tag Team Championships as Debra joined in with the celebration as Public Enemy appeared in the audience to a loud pop! They rapped, asking if they wanted to see this whore with these two freaks. They wrapped it up by leaving.
- We see "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Ken Shamrock down seperate hallways as the main event is next!

-
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin defeated "Worlds Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock to retain the WWF Championship in a No Holds Barred match (12:03) Mike Chioda was the official. These two men battled vigorously, it went back-and-forth, and though it seemed very likely that Steve Austin would win, Shamrock kept coming back and fighting, no matter what. Shamrock made it look like he was legitimately going to win numerous times here. Shamrock used a chair as Austin brought the chain into play, both men fighting before WWF European Champion, Shane McMahon ran out, summoning the Mean Street Posse! Austin took out Rodney and Pete Gas before Shane ran in, trying to hit Austin with the chair, missing and knocking out Ken! Austin gave Shamrock and Shane Stunners for the victory!
***1/4
- "Stone Cold" Steve Austin began to celebrate, having just defeated Ken Shamrock and checkmated Vince McMahon once again here tonight! Shane McMahon grabbed a steel chair and planned to strike Austin from behind but Ken Shamrock got up and took him out with a clothesline! Austin and Shamrock celebrated as Shane looks pissed as he takes the WWF Championship in which Austin never picked up after the match and took it! Shane tells them that if any of the superstars was to snatch the title back, they would be fired! The Rock then enters as he comes out and takes the belt from Shane! RAW goes off the air...
