Been around. Was thinking about posting in here the other day about this "rock is dead" opinion going around at the moment. I think it is all decentralized, harder to find, but rock will always live on, and new bands will rise.

When he made the rap comment is what totally made his point moot. Because the stuff going on in the rap scene is horrible, it's just being marketed, the real stuff that should get some exposure is underground. I kind of liked how Corey Taylor and Sabastian Bach (of all people) checked him.

Any albums yall think have not gotten their due, in your favorite subgenres?
Cold-Superfiction is an album I am just starting to get into.
Switched's record from years ago was heavily slept on and disrespected, and it is amazing.
Nu-Metal 4 Life!

Ape is another one I enjoy Oh yeah for sure. That's one of their recent songs I'm sure. There's loads of funny Jinjer reaction videos on YouTube.

I guess this can go in here, I didn't wanna make a new thread since I don't quite think it warrants one. Don't wanna upset anyone and get it locked. www.theprp.com/2019/01/14/news/ex-asking-alexandria-frontman-denis-stoff-launches-new-band-drag-me-out-first-single-available/Former Asking Alexandria frontman Denis Stoff has launched a new band. Drag Me Out is their name, and the first song, I'm Sorry, is available now. The band has signed with Sumerian Records, which blows open the only hole you need in the story that Ash Avildsen, owner of Sumerian, stated Denis held up AA for more money, saying "If I don't get paid, AA doesn't exist." Why would you sign a band to your label, that is led by the former singer of one of your already signed bands, if that singer threatened to essentially kill said band over money? Oh yes. You wouldn't. The song is a good one. Always felt Denis was the better singer between he and Danny. The Black is the best AA record, and it's not even close.

"The Visionary" Eldniw I actually preferred the Denis Asking Alexandria album to their latest one with Danny. I must check them out. And you'll probably get shat on for labelling AA as heavy metal just because the old timers think their some emo/screamo band.

Emo is guys who've never had a girlfriend playing pianos and whining about it.
