Ring of Honor Nothern Navigation
SHIMMER Special Attraction Match: "The Canadian Ninjas" Portia Perez & Nicole Matthews vs. "Girl Dynamite" Jennifer Blake & Allison Danger
This was your basic tag match, and the Canadian crowd ate up Allison Danger. The heels used double team moves and worked over Blake with frequent tags. Matthews hit her usual array of back breakers, while Perez wrestled a pretty dirty match. Eventually, as expected, Blake made the tag to Danger, who came in firing. She hit the Lovelace Choker on Perez, and Blake hit Matthews with Kobashi-like mini chops in the corner. Matthews fought out of it and knocked Blake to the outside. She then hit Danger with a big Lariat, which allowed Portia to pin her and use the bottom rope for leverage and the win.
Winners: "The Canadian Ninjas" Portia Perez & Nicole Matthews **½ (5:24)

Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor VIAugust 2nd, 2008 Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, New York Attendance: 2,357 SHIMMER Championship Four Corner Survival: MsChif (c) vs. Daizee Haze vs. SHIMMER Tag Team Champion Lacey vs. Sara Del ReyIn SHIMMER's first ever match in the historic Hammerstein Ballroom, these four put on a good show. MsChif and Haze shook hands before the match with each other, but Lacey and Del Rey didn't shake hands with anybody. Del Rey and Haze started the match in the ring and they had their usual battle that ROH fans are used to. Frequent tags were made between the girls and as usual, eventually all four women were in the ring at the same time. Del Rey clotheslined MsChif and Del Rey to the outside and went flying out with them. As they got up, Haze climbed to the top and nailed a cross body off the top. Haze dragged Lacey in the ring and hit her with the Heart Punch. She went for the Mind Trip, but Del Rey caught her with the Royal Butterfly instead. She flipped her over and nailed her with it. Before she could get the cover though, MsChif grabbed her and hit the Desacrator DDT. She covered but Lacey broke up the count. Lacey went for her Implant DDT on MsChif, but the Champion reversed it, kicked her in the gut and hit the Code Green to gain the victory and retain her title. Winner and Still SHIMMER Champion: MsChif (10:16) ***

Great write up, too bad that Daizee (<3) didn't win the belt though.

Very strange write ups only one match each? maybe you should try doing more Shimmer shows than ROH appearences, the layout is nice though and the pics are a nice addition, would rather anyone than Mschif to win the belt, really i would like Daze to win, glad that Jen Blake is being used well she's awsome, prob is with indy diaries the majority of people are not going to know who these people are and as a result not read the diary, its good that your continuing it even though Bockwinkel is the only person who has posted on this page just shows that your not doing this for the replies and I respect you for that, keep this up, good luck

MsChif retaining is awesome man. I'm loving the whole 1 match thing you have going, it allows for more details. Hopefully you keep this going, it's a fun read.

The four corner survival was awesome, dude. A lot of great action, and I'm glad MsChif retained the title. However, when you do decide to take the belt off of her, give it to Lacey or Daizee Haze. I'm really liking this, and keep it up. Reply to TNA 2009?

Ring of Honor Driven 2008September 19th, 2008 Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts Daizee Haze vs. SHIMMER Tag Team Champion LaceyThe women of honor got a chance to show what they were capable of on Pay-Per-View for just the third time. Lacey and Haze have been battling in ROH since 2006 and they were the main event of the very first SHIMMER taping. Onto tonight’s match, which while kept rather short, was still solid. Lacey went right after her out of the gate and nailed her with lefts and rights and knocked her into the corner. She began to choke her and get right into her usual underhanded stuff. She worked over Haze’s back throughout and seemed to be gearing up for the Lung Blower. She attempted one, but Haze held onto the rope and blocked it. She took over there using her high flying moves to her advantage. In the end, she hit her Heart Punch and went for the Mind Trip, but Lacey elbowed out of it and rolled her up for the three. Winner: Lacey (6:28) **

Howly return, Batman! Although the return match wasn't anything TOO special, I am pretty psyched that this is back.

Volume 21 CardSHIMMER Tag Team ChampionshipThe Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew (c) vs. SHIMMER Champion MsChif & Cheerleader Melissa The first ever SHIMMER Tag Team Title defense for the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew will main event SHIMMER Volume 21. The nearly unbeaten duo of Lacey & Rain will have a tough test ahead of them. MsChif and Melissa are two of SHIMMER's best, but, despite their great chemistry & teamwork recently, one has to wonder if there will be problems co-existing due to MsChif's use of the Green Mist on Melissa in the Volume 20 main event. We'll just have to wait and see. Volume 10 RematchNikki Roxx vs. Sara Del Rey After a loss on SHIMMER Volume 5, Nikki Roxx began a winning streak that lasted to SHIMMER Volume 9. On SHIMMER Volume 10, Roxx finally made an appearance in the main event, falling to Sara Del Rey. Roxx leftt SHIMMER for a while, but returned on Volume 19 to see a new side on Sara Del Rey. Can the rejuvenated Nikki Roxx best this new Sara Del Rey? Volume 19 RematchMercedes Martinez vs. Wesna Busic Two of the hardest hitting women in the wrestling industry will go toe to toe once again. Back on Volume 19, it was Wesna who came out on top, as Mercedes struggled, taking losses on both 19 & 20. Can Martinez can get back on the winning track? First Time EverLuFisto vs. Sarah Stock Two Canadians will do battle in this first time ever match. Since LuFisto's return, she has asked to face nothing but the best SHIMMER has to offer and she's gotten it. Stock has been on a tear since her Volume 11 debut. Can Stock's high flying style beat the hard hitting LuFisto? Alexa Thatcher vs. Daizee Haze Alexa Thatcher is one of SHIMMER's youngest stars and she has been doing pretty good for herself lately. Daizee Haze is one of SHIMMER's standout main event stars. Thatcher has been waiting for this chance to prove herself and if she can beat The Haze, it'll go along way to a main event spot. The Pink Ladies' DebutThe Pink Ladies vs. Cat Power and Veronika Vice The Pink Ladies are one of, if not the top women's tag team in Australia. They make their SHIMMER debuts on Volume 21 against newcome Cat Power and her debuting partner, Veronika Vice. With this influx of new talent in SHIMMER, this is make or break for these girls. Tag Team MatchThe Canadian Ninjas vs. Ashley Lane & Navaeh With the new SHIMMER Tag Team Titles, tag team competition is heating up and fierce in SHIMMER. These two teams met in the Tag Title tournament, with Lane & Navaeh coming out on top. The Ninjas will look to even the score on Volume 21. Ariel vs. Jetta This should be an interesting match. Ariel has been on a bit of a roll recently, even defeating Amazing Kong by disqualification. She has been teaming with her friend and SHIMMER main eventer, Nikki Roxx. Jetta has been following in the footsteps of her International Home Wrecking Crew buddies. A win for either girl here, will be extremely important to vault them closer to their friends' positions in SHIMMER. Amber O'Neal vs. Serena Deeb Ever since a Four Corner Survival match back on Volume 19, Serena Deeb has had issues with two of the girls that were involved. She handled Jetta on Volume 20, but will now take on Amber O'Neal. Deeb promises to make a run towards the SHIMMER Title, but O'Neal promised to stop her in her tracks. Can SHIMMER's resident diva defeat Deeb and get herself on the road to the Title? Tag Team MatchDanyah & "Girl Dynamite" Jennifer Blake vs. The Experience As stated earlier, the tag team competition in SHIMMER is picking up and this is no different. The Experience take pride in beating on the young, new girls in SHIMMER and they get a chance on Volume 21. Unless Danyah and Jennifer Blake can rack up their first tag team victory in a major upset.

October 19th, 2008 Eagles Club in Berwyn, Illinois Attendance: 200
SHIMMER Volume 21 opens with backstage interviewer Rebecca Bayless standing by with Cheerleader Melissa. She asks Melissa about teaming with SHIMMER Champion MsChif tonight after Mschif’s use of the green mist in their match on Volume 20. Melissa says that she’s still very upset with MsChif over bringing that out in their title match, and she’s going to get back at her for it, but she promises that they will work as a cohesive unit tonight because there is still gold to be won. The Pink Ladies vs. Cat Power and Veronika ViceThe crowd wasn’t into this match as much as they usually are, most likely due to this being their first time seeing three of the four girls. Vice looked decent here, but Power was surprisingly good. Meanwhile, the Pink Ladies really impressed. They hit multiple double team moves and Madison Eagles looks like the real deal. She got the win for her team after nailing Vice with a very stiff power bomb. Winners: The Pink Ladies (7:16) *¾The Experience of Lexie Fyfe and Malia Hosaka are shown backstage. They look into the camera and say that they are the rightful SHIMMER Tag Team Champions. She says that no team in SHIMMER has a better record than them and it’s only a matter of time until they are Champions.“The Portuguese Princess” Ariel vs. Jetta w/ The Minnesota Home Wrecking CrewThis was better than expected as both girls have been coming into their own lately. Lacey and Rain attempted to interfere at one point, but Ariel’s tag team partner, Nikki Roxx made her way out to help even the odds. She stopped them in their tracks and Ariel put away Jetta with the Dariel. Winner: Ariel (7:09) ** Danyah & “Girl Dynamite” Jennifer Blake vs. The ExperienceThe Experience were not lying earlier in the show when they said that they were on their way to a SHIMMER Tag Team Title shot. They pretty much dominated this one, although Blake managed to put up a very good fight. The veterans got the W after hitting their double team suplex slam on Blake. Winners: The Experience (5:14) *¾After the match, Danyah looked very upset in the ring. Blake asked her to help her up and she did, but then she connected with a clothesline. Danyah seemed very upset at Blake for taking the pin here. She picked her up and hit her with the D-Bomb [Samoan Driver].Amber O’Neal vs. Serena DeebO’Neal seemed more occupied with her hair than the actual match and Deeb took full control of that. She hit her awesome arm drags and a monkey flip before a rake to the eyes gave O’Neal the upper hand. She held control for a short while, but Deeb ended up victorious after nailing the Spear. Winner: Serena Deeb (10:17) **¾Alexa Thatcher vs. Daizee HazeBest match of the night so far. Thatcher was out to prove that she could earn a spot at the top of SHIMMER and she put on a show. She went hold for hold with Daizee and got a few near falls after a super kick, sidewalk slam and German suplex. The Haze got in control after hitting a flying cross body and she eventually hit her trademark Heart Punch. She followed it with the Mind Trip, but Thatcher somehow managed to kick out. Haze waited until she got halfway up and went for the Yakuza Kick, but Thatcher moved and attempted her Heart Kick, but Haze caught her foot. She hit a dragon screw and followed it with the Yakuza Kick to end it. Winner: Daizee Haze (13:59) ***½After the match, Haze raised Thatcher arm as the SHIMMER crowd gave her a standing ovation. Dave Prazak put over how Alexa really impressed everybody here tonight.
We are now joined by the founding mother of SHIMMER, Allison Danger. Danger gets in the ring and although it’s clearly obvious, she announces that she is pregnant with the next generation of SHIMMER athletes. She tells the crowd that she will be back in action as soon as possible. The Canadian Ninjas vs. Ashley Lane & NavaehThis was a rematch of the opening match on SHIMMER Volume 19, where Lane and Navaeh came out on top. The Ninjas really impressed and Nicole Matthews seems to be coming into her own. She was the star of this match and she nearly got the three count after a beautiful Northern lights suplex but Lane got her shoulder up. After Portia Perez ran around the ring and nailed Navaeh off the apron, she got in the ring and helped Matthews nail their super kick/German suplex combo. Matthews bridged the move and got the win. Winners: The Canadian Ninjas (11:26) **¾Mercedes Martinez vs. Wesna BusicAnother Volume 19 rematch, this one was just as good as their last meeting. Again, Martinez seemed to hit Wesna with everything, but none of it mattered as she kept kicking out. Also once again, Wesna had the CB4 driver set up and she nailed it, but Martinez kicked out this time. She was so determined to rack up a victory here. She eventually did get it after three saito suplexes. Winner: Mercedes Martinez (12:12) ***¼Again, Rebecca Bayless is backstage, this time with the SHIMMER Tag Team Champions, the Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew. She asks them about their tough first defense. Lacey reminds everybody that they’ve defeated Melissa and MsChif before and they’ll do it again. Rain chips in saying that they couldn’t be beat when Melissa and MsChif were on the same page, so how can they possibly do it when they aren’t.LuFisto vs. Sarah StockThis stole the show tonight, despite the different styles. Stock used her speed and high flying style, while LuFisto fired away using her power advantage. It made for a good battle and Stock smartly worked over LuFisto’s back during the match. LuFisto fought back with stiff kicks, a face wash and a suicide dive to the outside. Stock used a float over DDT, snap suplex and a front flip suicide dive. The crowd was on their feet near the end as both women had numerous near falls. Stock hooked LuFisto for her Tiger Driver, but LuFisto reversed it by flipping Stock over her head and bridging there for the three. Winner: LuFisto (16:01) ***¾Stock was in shock, but shook hands with her opponent post match.Nikki Roxx vs. Sara Del ReyRoxx was not prepared for the new Del Rey and it showed here. She started off looking for a straight up wrestling match with her former friend, but Del Rey nailed her with stiff kicks and was looking to just hurt Nikki. She succeeded in that as Nikki looked shaken up after a submission from Del Rey. Nikki valiantly fought back to the crowd’s liking, but Del Rey put her away with the Royal Butterfly. Winner: Sara Del Rey (11:57) *** SHIMMER Tag Team Championship: The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew (c) w/ Jetta vs. SHIMMER Champion MsChif & Cheerleader MelissaMelissa wasn’t lying at the start of the show when she said her & the Champion would work well together. They looked like a well oiled machine throughout and they even stopped Jetta’s interference at one point when MsChif caught her with the green mist. That seemed to trigger something with Melissa who looked to the outside and began to question MsChif. They began to argue and Lacey rolled up Melissa for a near fall. Melissa would clothesline her down and MsChif got on the apron. They argued again and while MsChif was outside she must have gotten more mist as she spit it right in Melissa’s face again. Melissa turned right into Lacey, who nailed her with the Implant DDT to retain the belts. Winners and Still SHIMMER Tag Team Champions: The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew (17:26) ***½MsChif left with her belt, not even looking back to many boos from the crowd. The Home Wreckers celebrated their victory as Melissa was on the ground, in pain from the mist and the DDT. [/center]

Volume 22 CardSHIMMER ChampionshipMsChif (c) vs. Daizee Haze When Daizee Haze was injured for Volumes 19 & 20, she told the crowd that when she returned, she wanted a SHIMMER Title shot. She gets her wish here on Volume 22. MsChif meanwhile, has seemingly turned her back on the fans and her friends. Her use of the Green Mist on Cheerleader Melissa during their Title match was bad enough, but she used it again when they were teammates on Volume 21. You can be sure Melissa will have her eye on this one. SHIMMER Tag Team ChampionshipThe Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew (c) vs. The Pink Ladies Despite having just one match under their belts in SHIMMER competition, The Pink Ladies have been successful over in Australia. So successful in fact, that the booking committee has decided to give them the second ever title shot at the SHIMMER Tag Team Titles. The Home Wreckers know they have their work cut out for them, but they always seem to find a way to victory. The Rivalry Comes WestCheerleader Melissa vs. Wesna Busic These two have had the most intense rivalry that women's wrestling has possibly ever seen. It's all happened overseas, but it comes to US soil on Volume 22. Let the video speak for itself. Sara Del Rey vs. Sarah Stock SHIMMER's two Sarah's have met twice before, with Del Rey coming out on top both times. The first, in the semi-finals of the SHIMMER Title tournament, was one of the best matches in SHIMMER history. The second, on Volume 16, was a two out of three falls encounter, in which Stock became the second woman to pin Del Rey's shoulders to the mat in SHIMMER. Can Stock finally get her official first win against Del Rey? Or will Del Rey's new attitude help her keep her success against Stock? LuFisto vs. Mercedes Martinez Nicole Matthews w/ Portia Perez vs. Serena Deeb Pretty Bitchin' vs. The Experience Alexa Thatcher vs. Jetta w/ The Minnesota Home Wrecking Danyah vs. Jennifer Blake Cat Power & Veronika Vice vs. Ashley Lane & Neveah
